The service was just ok, nothing stood out or too bad. But the congees were as watery as you could imagine. I come here every couple of weeks to pick up breakfast to go. Usually a porridge congee with side of soy sauce chow mein and an extra Chinese donut. Today, I picked up breakfast extra early. Placed my order online right when they opened at 7:30 and picked up around 8am. The porridge was DREADFUL!! Not even exaggerating when I say I had to dump the whole thing in the trash. I would've taken it back if I wasn't 30mins away at my work. It was very clearly left over congee from the night before that was scraped from the bottom of the pot (think solid rock hard pieces) with extra water poured into it to increase the volume. Spent $22 for breakfast today and they think this was acceptable to serve?! Lost a recurring customer. Never again. What made them think this was acceptable? Seriously wishing I saved the congee so I could bring it in tmrw to show them. At this point it isn't the money but the principle. read more

It was very HONG KONG taste same as the腸粉 very good. The milk tea, u need to put the syrup urself. No sure why people are still coming to this place. You first had to wait in line to order food at a counter, which takes a LONG time because there's only one person taking order. The menu is only available at the screens behind the counter, therefore everyone is looking at the menu and deciding what they want when they are at the counter, which causing more delay and congestion. They give you a pager for your order, and when part of your order is ready, they will beep you to pick up at the pickup counter. We order like 6 dishes, and had to go back and forth to the counter like 7 times because they only page you when one dish of your favorite order is ready, which is super dumb. Their Hong Kong milk tea tastes like water, and condensed milk requires extra charge. The drink is not even all the way full. Foods' portion is small, not even worth the price. Been a fan of their porridge and decided to try the other menu items today. Had the pork chop breakfast and it was so juicy and tender. Satay beef was exactly what I used to have in Hong Kong. Although it is self served but I do see staff running around offering Togo boxes and picking up empty dishes. Love the no tipping policy as everywhere else (Chinese rest mainly) is expecting a minimum of 15% or more while you get minimal or no service?? This restaurant is dishonest. I ordered one chinese donut and paid for the whole piece, but they gave me only 1/2 a piece.

The quality and service of this place has gone down so far since they first opened. Order one of their breakfast combo with a drink. They used to put the drinks out for you but now. They don't even do that. I've asked the guy in front if I could give me the drink first and he responded rudely with "you have to wait for your order". I just needed a hot lemons tea after waiting 15 mins. Does it take that long to make one?! Also, they went crazy salty with the peanuts that they put out. The Mexican guy out front was so rude that he stepped out and wants a fight with me after saying this is a horrible service. I'm never coming here ever again!
