My husband and I decided to go to Chapp's off of Little Road tonight. We have been going to Chapp's for years and we have always loved their burgers. Unfortunately, tonight we were disappointed. We both got the Baby Chapp's which have always been delicious, satisfying burgers. When our order was brought to our table tonight, the burgers were flat, the meat, which is usually thick and juicy, was flat and dry. There were barely any vegetables on them and I had to actually look to see if there was any mayo on mine; I couldn't tell! It was just a sad, dry burger. My husband got chili on his but his meat was also thin and dry under the chili. They didn't even seem like to same burgers we are used to. We looked at the menu and it was supposed to 1/4 pound as usual but it wasn't as juicy and satisfying as we are used to. Overall, we felt like we paid premium prices for a burger that we could have gotten for less for at a cheap burger place. I don't feel like we got our money's worth at all and, sadly, we probably won't be returning to Chapp's. read more

This spot is okay, I ordered a regular double cheeseburger. It was good a little pricey but other than that it was good . Bathrooms were clean . I just don't like having to actually walk in as I believe they can make more mula if they had a drive through. read more

If you ever ate at Jim's on Division Street in Arlington, this is the same owner who started Jim's. The burgers are huge and freshly made and season and when you bite into the burger, the juice runs down your arms! Fresh ground chuck and toppings are used. The chicken sandwiches are good too. The burgers were great and buns are grilled with just the right amount of crispy char around the edges. I ordered the 1/4 lb. baby burger and fries that was the perfect size for me. The fries were ok. They are cooked with the skins and some were crispy but some were soggy. They have several different burgers and have a create your own burgers option too. Did seem a little pricey. Nearly $30 for 3 people with 2 of us ordering water to drink. But overall really good burger. Would definitely recommend for a good burger. Love Chapps burgers! Don't love their new checkout system .. A restaurant with counter service only should not have a checkout system asking for tip percentage requests to be added to the bill. Why would someone feel required to tip a person ringing in food? Should I tip my cleaners personnel? What about the lady who rings me up at Walmart? My first time here and I've lived in the area for a loooong time. I was impressed with the Turkey Burger. I added the Cajun spice and it was really tasty. I went back the next day to try the angus beef and it was pretty good. I should have opted for the smaller 1/4 lb burger because the 1/2 lb was really thick, and I couldn't finish it. This was my 2nd visit to this place. The staff wanted burgers for the lunch and my boss was paying. No complaints here. I got my usual fully loaded bacon cheeseburger (american and cheddar) on a wheat bun with fries. They did not disappoint for the 2nd time. The beef was tender (and flavorful) and the bun was able to withstand the condiments and held together until I finished my burger. Fries were just fries.....nothing special. We have started making this our go to burger place, 1-2 times a week..Lunch /dinner. Burgers are fresh and made to order. We love the build your own. There is always ample seating at the times we go. Have never been disappointed until February 13th. We came at 845pm to place a To Go order...Open sign off, chairs up, and someone sweeping inside. If you are going to advertise closing at 9pm... Close at 9 pm. We were terribly disappointed...We drove to the Arts district to Rodeo****, where they accommodated us. We sorely missed the Chapps quality that night. We would have give 4 stars, but the hours have kept us from doing so. We will continue to be a patron and would like to see some stability in closing hours 7/16/17 Thank you Chapps! Had the chicken salad with bacon and avocado with the ranch dressing. Good amount of chicken and bacon. It was good sized also. My only complaint was the plastic fork. I don't mind plastic but Chapps pleas splurge on heavier duty plastic ware. It was a very small cheap fork that made it hard to eat a salad. Next time I hope that has changed. Never again. Wife ordered a Chicken sandwich and I ordered a 1/2# Burger, got home and wifes was a Hamburger not chicken and mine tasted like they poured to much pepper on it, but I was hungry and ate it, Stomach cramps and diarrhea half the next morning. We have gotten burgers there before but it's been over a year so maybe new cooks don't keep things clean enough? Not sure how they mixed up my wifes chicken for a burger. Time for new Cooks? So I lived in Arlington for over 3 years and just barely heard about this place when I came back to visit. It was amazing!! Now the burgers are a little greasy and the fries could have a little more taste. Overall though I would go there again. Great burgers and fries. I hate that they include the gratuity at the register when you order. I'd rather pay after we eat or be able to leave gratuity at the table. Why would I want to tip the cashier and how do I already know what my service or food will be like when I am first arriving? That is about my only complaint. Today was my last visit to Chapps. The chicken sandwich is good, but they fail on customer service. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and asked for no vegetables, mayo, or cheese and to add honey mustard. Basically, I wanted chicken, bread, and honey mustard. So rather than just charging me for the grilled chicken sandwich and substituting the honey mustard for all the stuff I didn't get on the sandwich, they charge me almost a dollar for the honey mustard. I made this request to the kid at the counter and he said that his manager says he has to charge extra. I know this is not that much money, but to me it is the principle. As a result, I will not be back. There are chicken sandwiches elsewhere. read more

I have eaten at this and other Chapp's locations in the past. The burgers have always been very good. I have tried it twice recently and both times the burgers were disappointing. Meat and bread were very dry. The burgers I remember from the past were thick and juicy, now the meat seems to be pre-formed, thin and almost cooked to a crisp. Three stars because the fries were still good, but overall, I probably won't be back to this location. read more
