This review is long overdue. During my first visit I order a Philly cheese steak combo and when it wasb time to pay, I realized I didn't have my wallet. I struggle to try and pay with Samsung pay, however, their pay station did not accept it. After 10 or 15 minutes the manager called me over and gave me my order for free. I was shocked thankful are the same time. I was covering a shift that day and had no way of getting money. The food was awesome. It's always nice to experience that level of kindness from somebody and it's more rare to experience it from an organization. read more

Extremely rude staff. I went to this place and a gentlemen and myself was in line to order. The young lady accepted the gentleman's order and told me I have to wait 30 mins for my order. I asked her why do I have to wait 30 mins and the gentlemen would get his in mins. She walked away and did not provide a response. I proceeded to wait until (took her 3/4 mins to come back) she came back and said sorry i got a huge order that came in i said okay. I then kindly asked before trying to leave Whats the difference if me and the gentleman ordered within seconds apart she did not provide a response. Then she said it was her and someone else working. Then she left And came back and said i can take your order. I kindly declined and ask for the supervisor she said we don't give out managements name. I said so how do i make a compliant and she shrugged her shoulders while rolling her eyes and huffing and puffing through our entire conversation. Very rude and disgusting! read more

It's funny, maybe even hilarious actually, reading the reviews of (mostly) elderly folk (I'm assuming), complaining about fast food customer service. Yet aren't these the same people who think raising minimum wage is a ridiculous idea? You either want excellent service or you want a shitty minimum wage. You can't have both. Which will it be folks? Needless to say the sandwiches taste amazing here. If I want great service I'll drop $50 on dinner at a sit-down restaurant. Not a shopping mall food court. read more

I arrived at the moreno valley mall food plaza and saw a line of epic size and realized this must be the food of choice for me today. I must have waited 30 minutes to finally get my 10 dollar sub and fries. I do have to say... Them gourmet fries are deliciously yummy. That dry california chicken sammich though.... Felt like I was eating a lizard off the new mexico 10 freeway. I also spent 6 minutes of my precious time watching my girlfriend spin a straw around her strawberry lemonade cause the amount of sour within the glass was like drinking warheads in liquid ice form. If you enjoy waiting 30 minutes for awesome fries this is the place for you but if you prefer life over food then run away and find a vons near you and learn to cook. Its more fun anyways. read more

i had this yesterday was I impressed no but I wasn't disapointed either if that makes sense I fill they could give more meat in their sandwiches and the fries weren't good. I feel if they were fresh would taste way better I might go back if im in the mall again read more

The only reason why I'm giving this place three stars is because yesterday the customer service was great the girl who took my order in the morning was so sweet and it got better as I was receiving my food but the grade is a b sadly I didn't see it until I got my food or else I wouldn't have ate here. read more

Usually love Charley's, have had nothing but excellent experiences at the Promenade in Temecula. Have been ok with this MoVal location until 4/9/16. Was there around 6 pm, 4 total people working, one of which was giving samples. Girl taking orders was trying to clean and do drinks at the same time. Took her over 5 minutes to take a one sandwich order, then another 5 for the people in front of me. Expressed my concern to girl giving samples, who just looked at me and didn't say a word. Finally went elsewhere in Food Court. Observed, line got a little longer, but nothing was done...girl kept giving samples instead of assisting. Very disappointed because had not had one of their sandwiches in a while. read more

I agree with Tracy poor customer service and my entire order was cold. How is it that a sandwich that is on a "hot stove top" be cold? They need to turn up the heat or something and make FRESH FRIES. I never experience cold food when I go to different chains but this moval location is horrible. I am willing to drive the distance to get better food because it is not a bad place. I am giving it 2 stars because the service needs much improvement. Yes the samples are nice but no if your understaffed. They don't ask whether or not you want it dine out and they rush through your order in to service the long line that forms. They rush through putting your sandwich together and don't offer anything additional like the deli style pickles, jalapeños, and banana peppers. The orders are put out imcomplete I.e. you get your subs but not your cheese fries. I have been to the one in San Bernardino at the Inland Center service was always awesome though their line is always longer than at the moval mall. The food is delicious too bad the service is not better. read more

My husband and I ate for the first time at Charley's Philly Steaks at the Moreno Valley Mall. Kind of over priced subs but okay when you are hungry. Was not happy with the Manager's attitude when I inquired about the food mainly the cheese they use having any corn product in it. I have a very bad allergy to corn and will get migraines, nausea, scalp burning and itching with hair falling out if I eat corn starch, corn powder, corn meal or corn oil/syrup. have learned that these corn products are in everything even name brand cheeses. The manager showed annoyance toward me when I inquired about the cheese having corn product and he was very dismissive of my concerns. so when I started to eat the turkey cheddar I ordered I took one very tentative bite and waited to see if I felt ill. Lucky for that Manager I didn't feel ill. if anyone else is having the same symptoms when you eat and don't know why, it could be an allergy to corn or gluten. read more
