I also noticed a child behind the bar, who was later driving a scooter around the back parking lot. Whether or not this is typical, it definitely added to the feeling that the restaurant lacked organization and professionalism. To be fair, the food was once again very good, and I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of the food. The biggest issue is the customer service and overall management of the dining experience. There is clearly a lot of potential here, but the service needs significant improvement. It's especially disappointing because I originally heard about this place through an employee who works across the street at their other location. She was incredibly sweet, professional, and had a great personality, which gave me high expectations coming here. There are plenty of US, French, Italian and Spanish cheeses ... the only bummer about this place is that there are very few British cheeses to buy. Having lolived in the UK, I do tend to gravitate towards those. I think in the entire store they had maybe 2 - 3 British cheeses. Having said that, it's one of my favourite spots to visit and I usually walk away with a bag of interesting and fun picks for entertaining. You can ask them to pick out a perfect cheese plate for you and it's all set. They just ask how much you want and get it ready for you.
