The staff was friendly and accommodating and they had a very clean environment with a great massaging option that was much more thorough than most other places I've been lately. ZERO customer service at this place. I came with my son, daughter, and mom. The three of them were getting pedicures and I was getting a manicure. They only had two technicians for pedicures at the time so my daughter decided to wait. When I walked her to an empty pedicure chair to have her sit, wait and enjoy a massage, they told me the chair was for customers only. I reminded them that she is a customer and was getting a pedicure when my son was done with his and they insisted that she was not to sit in the chair. 10 empty chairs, and a waiting customer isn't allowed to sit in one? Needless to say, we crossed our names off the list and left. Now we're really not customers. read more

I really wanted to like this salon, as it is in the Downtown Summerlin mall, right next to nekter juice bar. I went in for a set of dip powder nails, and they took me fairly quickly. The bummer was, both technicians that worked on me were both rude. The lady (Juli) that started my nails worked very quickly, and sent me to a male technician (M.J.) to finish, because she had an appointment coming in. Both nail techs groped and thrusted my hands around as they hurried me along. It was extremely uncomfortable. Neither one smiled either. It was like they both hated their jobs. Not the kind of relaxing experience you'd want in a salon. They also seemed upset that I did not want a manicure along with my dip powder set, which took an astonishing 20 minutes max from start to finish. My friend and I came in for gel manicures and pedicures. We had the exact same treatment, but my technician charged me more. I started coming to this shop a couple months ago because my regular nail artist Nikki changed locations. I've been going to her for about a year now and she always does such an amazing job on my gel/Acrylic nails!! I am always impressed with the shape & quality of my nails. I am terrible at keeping up with my fills, however they always last until I make time to go get them done again.. Which is incredible considering how hard I can be on my nails. I highly recommend making your appointments with Nikki, she is very personable and outgoing.. I always look forward to going and getting my nails done with her because We talk & She makes me feel comfortable. I'm sure most you ladies can agree on how important it is to be able to talk to your nail artist/hair dresser/ beauty enthusiasts because these appointments can he pretty lengthy at times. I originally went to Naturelle Nails which is like..across the street, but my nail girl had messaged me and told me she is now working at Charming Nails. So obviously, I came here - you follow the nail artiste~ haha The inside decor is very cute and big. WiFi works here!!!! and you don't lose your reception/connection once deep inside the store like the other stores in Downtown Summerlin which is a major plus! haha There are two big televisions on the walls so you have a choice in what you want to watch. Also, since it is located right next to Macy's where the fountain is, you can people watch. Mimi was once again my nail girl and she did a fabulous job. This nail salon has all the materials you need for whatever design you want - whether its foil, glitter, or jewels. Show a picture to Mimi and she will recreate it. Also, I thought the owner was a really nice man. There were these prepubescent children wandering around and one of the girls was really upset, because she was hungry and her friends wouldn't lend her 5 dollars....lol So he allowed her to sit in the store and charge her phone until her mother came to pick her up. Her friends then all came into the store to sit down - they were quite annoying and loud and the owner still let them sit there as long as they didn't break anything or get too loud again. Zero stars. Called in to see if they had a wait for pedi, I was told that there wasn't. I was couple stores over so it seem super convenient. I get there a few minutes after hanging up and when I walked in not only was I not greeted but when I asked where should I sit (empty pedi chairs) now there was a 20 minute wait and when I explained I just got off the phone with her the lady rudely responded that people can come in and wait time goes up as there are literally 3 other girls doing their nails. Under staffed as thanksgiving is coming up seems inconvenient and also lying about wait time to lure customers in is ridiculously unprofessional. If you have the choice to go somewhere else, do it. All of the techs are rude and unorganized. They say they accept walk ins but it takes forever. The salon is not up to their pricing and it looks cheap. No bathroom in the salon for customers to use even though employees use it. I started to get a dip powder and my tech was going back and forth between a pedi and my nails. I took off the foils and got up and left. She then began to talk about me before I even exited the salon. Horrible service, so rude and not even that great or work. I'm not going to lie... I walked into this shop expecting to be disappointed like I have been by various nail shops across town. But, alas, I was proven wrong! They are quick and do a decent gel mani that will keep me coming back. Pricing is average ($40 for my gel mani with some glitter added). Be sure to schedule an appointment, as they seemed to be very busy. Service was nothing above and beyond, but I don't mind that in the end. Service was very bad. Technicians are very rude. They barely used the pumice stone under the feet, poorly cut and trimmed the nails, hurriedly applied the nail polish and asked for payment during the pedicures. They were irritated when we asked them to trim the nails and other service related questions. The technician doing my nails got annoyed and harrumphed when I did not want the more expensive pedicure. My friend and I went for pedicures around 630. I called on the phone and asked if it was okay seeing as how they closed soon. The assured me it was no problem. While we were there we never received the majority of the services that they claim to provide with the standard pedicure. I called this morning to speak with a manager however, there is not one present. I told the woman on the phone my complaints and she said "the technician is right here, I will ask her". Upon getting back on the phone she said the technician said "they just weren't paying attention". Wow. Just wow. All they did was do the gel polish, followed by lotion on the legs. I called in and asked if they did a Gel Acrylic and I would be there before they closed. They did not try to make an appointment to write down what I wanted. I called before hand hoping to get in as soon as possible for a fill and repair, and to my luck they had an opening right when I wanted to go in! The salon is very nice, and I like the stand at the front, it makes the layout not very confusing and quite comfortable. A young tech named Julie told me to take the first seat and mapped out the price of my honestly confusing nail job. Three missing nails on one hand, a full set on the other, and gel polish to be taken off and put back on- she didn't make me feel uncomfortable and explained my best options as I said before, I'm new to the nail game. I started going to Julie over a year ago and have never left disappointed. She truly care about her work. The rest of her staff is also awesome! I paid $50 for a pedicure which I was very disappointed with. After my nails were painted and still wet she proceeded to put on my flip flops and messed up all the polish. Then she tried to fix it by stopping more polish over the messed up polish. Then she tried to separate my toes with paper towel which doesn't work and I'm not sure why they still try to do this method. Not worth the $50 you can find better nail salons right outside of downtown Summerlin. read more
