I stumbled upon this place because I was in need to get my nails done. I looked on yelp and saw that they have a 10% promotion for any salon services when you check in. I did the check in and this Asian lady was looking at my phone, trying to confirm it, and "redeemed" it without my knowledge and said "oh no that's not how you do it. You cannot use this because it's for next visit." MAKES NO SENSE! Where does it say that? It literally said 10% discount when check in. These people claimed that they have no idea what check in means. Um, it's like Facebook! You check in and tell people where you are at! She argued and said it's her "boss" rules. Are these people having them by the whip and have no sense of customer service and make exceptions? Thank goodness the only good thing about this visit was Michelle. However it didn't have to take 3 hours to do both hands and feet, but she was still kind enough to help. No one else wanted to step in and work for her when there were walk ins like me. What a great team and business this place is, Julie. Please do me a favor and do not visit this place. You are better off on going to naturelle nails across the street from them or anywhere else beside here. What a shame. read more

First, I usually ask for Richard because he is detail oriented. I also prefer that my pedicurist / manicurist be undistracted. I usually use Richard who was busy as usual so I agreed to have Michael to do my mani pedi. The first thing I noticed is that he was busy watching tv while he pushed my cuticles back. I like to read magazines and enjoy the massage chair as this is my relaxing time but I did not trust this guy since I've had him before and my toe was previously cut crooked. That should have been my warning to just stop him but I am a nice person that allows mistakes even at my expense because everyone is human. Then, he started on my fingers and was pulling the cuticle very roughly. At one point he got on his phone to talk. All of a sudden I felt this pain and said ouch! He had ripped more skin than necessary below the nail, probably because of his lack of attention . I thought ok it will be fine, just a rip in my skin, but then it started to bleed and not stop. He said he was sorry and then applied some sort of green drops he said was antibiotic and bleed stop. After that didn't work he put super glue. I started stressing out. I thought to myself I'm supposed to be here to relax and enjoy, but my throbbing, bleeding finger was making it worse. Also, I was there to make my nails pretty for an holiday event, not walk away with an injured bruised, bleeding finger that could no longer be painted to look even close to pretty. After all of this I asked him to fix my toe which was cut crooked, he started to get irritable with and then mouth off as if it were my fault that he cut my finger. He said that he didn't need me as a customer and that he wishes he'd never see me again because the cut he caused wasn't a big deal. He rudely then told me to leave and that I don't have to pay. I remained calm and was in disbelief of this guys attitude. The manager was clearly upset and embarrassed at his behavior as he stormed out of the salon telling me to leave once again. I know he was embarrassed but he decided to cause a scene in his embarrassment instead of trying to fix his mistakes. I tried to pay because I don't need a free pedicure or manicure just a good one, free of drama. Needless to say, I was patronizing this salon every other week with my daughter but I will be finding another nail salon since I don't need him or his attitude either. Hard pass. This place is very conveniently located in Downtown Summerlin, but you definitely pay a higher cost for that convenience. The people who run the shop (a husband and wife) are not very accommodating or personable, but they do have high quality nail polish. I stopped in with a friend and we were each getting a pedicure. They asked us to pick out our colors as usual and after sitting down in the chair I showed my stylist (the husband owner) that I wanted to use a different color for each toe. He said something in Vietnamese to his wife and then we had this exchange: Owner Lady: $5extra. Me: ...but it's the same amount of paint. OL: $5 extra. Me: I don't understand, is it because you have to physically open more than one bottle? I can open them for him. OL: $5 Extra Me: Fine, I'll just do 2 colors then. OL: $5 Extra if you use more than one color. Me: Why? OL: because it's $5 extra. Me: Ok, no paint then. Just do the pedicure and don't paint them. Is it $5 cheaper? OL: No, regular price. Me: You JUST told me it's extra for more colors, I'm saying NO colors, how is there no discount? By this time, everyone in the shop was listening and I'm literally laughing out loud at the situation. Finally, I said "whatever, just paint them. I'll pay the extra $5." The woman who actually did my nails was different than the owner husband guy, and she was super nice - so I tipped her very well afterwards and do not plan to come back here. A side note: I've gotten multiple colors at MANY nail shops and never have they charged me extra. This place will nickel and dime you - there are way too many option for a nail place in town to waste your money here. I'm not even 100% sure this place is worth 2 stars. Granted, they did a decent job on my pedicure. We walk in, they dont say hi, just 5 of the workers glancing at you, no smiles, but a "what do you guys want?" My husband and I both got a pedi, we were directed to sit down and the lady just shoves a menu in my lap. The menu was confusing so I just said a regular pedicure for hubby and a regular gel pedi for me, french tip of course. The guy came by with SO MUCH ATTITUDE. He was scuffing about something, didnt even greet me and started working on me. He wouldn't even tell me to switch legs but would grunt and tap on my leg. He seemed so miserable and hated his life and job. The lady that was working in my husband also did not say hi or anything but was chatting the entire time to her coworkers. The massage was merely a rub down, I wouldn't have minded the $5 callous remover upsell but nothing. No cusomter service. Nothing. They didnt bother to see how our days were or anything. Terrible. Now, the actual french tip in my toes looked nice so I'll give this place 2 stars. The only reason why we would be back is because we drop our kids at 5 star and this is convenient. But even then, we might just go drive somewhere else because the customer service and management were absolutely non existent. Julie, the manager, brings the entire atmosphere of this establishment down. She arrived to the shop after I had begun my pedi. She came up and asked if I was just having a pedi and I said, "no, I made an appt for a pedi and dip" and she rolled her eyes and gave me the NASTIEST look and replied that I hadn't signed in. No one told me I to sign in when I first arrived. Apparently she is the only one who knows how to do dip. As they wrapped my nails she began a new client's nails. I waited, soaking my nails, for 30 MINUTES. Literally sat their for half an hour and then when she finally helped me she kept reiterating how her rudeness and impatience is my fault. I have never been treated so poorly AND on top of that she had a personal issue she was dealing with. Julie was on her phone and distracted and forgot to completely cut one hand's nails but at this time I was so angry and had been there for almost 3 hours and I just wanted out. It took everything I had in me to not snap back. The rest of the staff was mediocre. No personality. No conversation. No laughter. Probably because Julie is there. read more

EXTREMELY poor first impression by the "receptionist". Please try to avoid The female with the long, sour face, long brown hair, which is often braided and hung to one side. She is short, rude and seems to be "inconvenienced" by customers. This is why businesses fail and get a bad rap; having employees or owners that don't have the common decency to be polite or basic understanding of good customer service delivery. Their service is mediocre, their prices on the high side and they make your experience stressful and miserable. Mani/pedi time should be relaxing. This place has got it all wrong. I asked for a pedicure with acrylic and a mani full set with Julie, I made an appointment the day prior to make sure Julie was the one doing the service. When I got there a lady told me to seat at the pedi station, I thought she was just starting me, but, no, she did my pedicure. The nails were all different shapes and cut way too short, the gel polish was all uneven, kind of messy; I pointed that out to her and she told me to wait until she was done, she was going to fixed it. Well 4 layers of gel polish later, it was done and it was still a mess. I told her I didn't like at all how it came out and she had an attitude and started arguing with me. I told her I asked for Julie for a reason, I am not sure why if you make an appointment with someone specific, they think it's ok to give you someone else. Julie than fixed a little bit the gel, but the nails were cut too short to have the shaped fixed, they still look all different shape, and I still have a lot of cuticles around my nails.....Julie also a bad attitude, she didn't apologize for the bad pedicure nor she offered any kind of discount, so I decided to don't proceed with my mani full set. This horrible pedicure cost me 80$. No one apologized for the mistakes they made, I got only bad attitudes I won't go back and I do not recommend!!! STAY AWAY!! read more

Also I want to mention I read some of the other reviews and I feel compelled to comment. There are so many different people in the world, and just because someone doesn't smile as much as others doesn't make them rude. Was not treated well here at all by Julie. I waited an hour past my appointment time because they wrote it down wrong but I didn't argue or anything, just said ok and sat there quietly and uncomfortably on their bench while I waited. When it was finally my turn, and mind you, all I wanted was my toes painted, that's it, she painted it so quickly and missed part of my nail, then went back over it because I asked her to and now it looks awful because she did it half hazardly and spoke sternly at me when she tried to put my shoes on and told me not to move when I could've done it myself better. The pedicures are great, slightly more expensive than other places, so it's only worth it if you're already shopping in down town Summerlin. The gel manicure wasn't my favorite. The nail polish collects at the tip making it slightly darker at the tips and is a little bit wavy. I definitely won't be back again for a gel manicure. BUT I have been here before for a regular (non gel) manicure and it turned out great And the polish lasted an entire week! Normally polish lasts me 3-4 days so I was pretty excited about it lasting longer. The staff is very friendly here, they don't sit in front of you ignoring you while talking in a different language to their coworkers so I really appreciated that! So I'll give them 4 stars! If only they were better at gel manicures I could give 5 stars but then again maybe I got a nail tech that isn't the best with gel? Who knows. read more

The staff and atmosphere is fantastic they provide excellent service and caterer to both male and female nail care and spa treatments. Wife came in for manicure and pedicure. They are by bath and body works mall just in front of the Macy entrance. They open early so beat the rush we were the only ones at open but filled up quickly. I am in the medical field and all the equipment is autoclaved and tubs are lined between clients. The music is great and for guys there are two big screen tv's for the games or golf. FYI Starbucks just in the Macy entrance to add to the chill experience. read more

Great location=1 star Customer service=1 star My first sign not to go here should've been that it was completely empty but being so near my due date I was impatient to just get in somewhere I walked in. Older gentleman greeted me was nice and gave me a cold water bottle. Cool beans. The price board had $50 for Gel mani and spa pedi- good deal in my book. The younger looking guy who did my nails cut my poor fat little toes up many times to the point of bleeding, my nails are unevenly filed and I'm in pain. I could be a big baby being that my feet are super swollen and achy already but I just don't think that's completely the case here. So we move onto my gel mani. No soaking of my nails, just a really hot towel placed on them. I get my nails done frequently enough to know you have to soak them to get a soft cuticle to cut and whatnot. any who my fingers are also unevenly filed and my cuticles did not get cut and my nails overall look mediocre. I go to pay and he tells me I owe him $65, I tell him the sign says gel mani and spa pedi = $50 and he said the sign is wrong. Grrrr I pay and tip but I won't be back and if you do choose to go, you should pay extra attention to what they're charging. read more

One of the best pedicures I have ever had! Walked in at 9:45 am and was here till 11 am and the whole time was pretty much a massage on my legs including hot towels and hot stones! I tried to give this place a try but from the entrance the girl was rude and has hidden money charges if they remove the enamel that you bring in the dip, extra 5 dll, and the work was a beginner I did not like and when I chose the color There was not until the third selection found the color.
