Lots of good seating and parking since it shares with multiple large office buildings. It's on the bottom of a large medical building and has its own entrance and area apart from them. It has a lot of tables and chairs inside to dine there or take it to go. Everything was made to order and served fresh. We took our food to go and it took about 15 mins waiting for a breakfast sandwich and chicken Caesar wrap. We enjoyed our food and filled up from it with enough to enjoy later too. There were lots of people coming and going enjoying their coffee, tea, and lunches while we waited. Seemed like a good variety menu for food and drinks. The quiches were steamy and made fresh in the case when we walked in and looked delicious. I forgot to take a picture of our food because it did take a while to get it and I was starving!! I got the croissant cheese, egg, and sausage sandwich. It was hot a melty and plenty of flavor.

The delicious smell drew me around the corner to find this Bistro. I've never been a big fan of cafes, but sometimes a well run business can win you over. As I walk in, the first thing I see is a huge picture display of what the differences are between a latte, breve, cappuccino and so on. (Thank Gawd!) That visual gave me an understanding and such a sense of empowerment that I was able to painstakingly create my own fantastic Breve while making 15 decisions to create it! Fun! We also tried some of the food as the smells are what dragged me over in the first place. The breakfast burrito was a stocky affair with egg, chunks of well cooked potatoes and cheddar cheese. Meats are optional. The burrito was large and cut in half, perfect for sharing. It came with a side of mild salsa. Then I had to try the ham & cheese croissant. It had Black Forest ham with cheddar and Swiss. I was surprised when the barista brought it to our table because it had been squished flat in a panini press and was nice and hot! It. Was. Perfect. Very buttery and surprisingly flaky, the combination of the melted cheeses and the ham were perfect. The croissant held together very well for as flaky as it was. Oh, the staff... very nice, polite and humorous people. They seem to enjoy being there and are enthusiastic about what they do. For a cold stormy morning, the atmosphere inside was a warm welcoming one with plenty of room to mill around and take a table. I have another meeting in the area next week, so I'll be on another croissant and see what creation I can get the barista to concoct for me.

This is surprisingly a really nice lunch spot with super yummy grilled wraps and sandwiches. My husband loves the turkey pesto grilled sandwich and I love the Cesar salad grilled wrap. Both come with choice of soup or salad, and everything is always fresh and tasty. Reasonable prices: $12 for soup and sandwiches. There's an array of freshly baked goods, cinnamon rolls, cookies, bagels, etc... and some vegetarian options. The cafe is set within Chase Gardens medical center, so it's convenient if you have a doctor's appt and can grab a bite around lunch time. The inside is simple and clean and the staff is polite.

What a life saver! I had an epic tour at Kaiser next door and had to wait for another appointment, lucky for me, this place is next door. Convenience aside, this place is worth a stop any time. TONS of fresh, homemade food and desserts, the like of which one rarely find these days. Friendly, competent staff. Water station and Epic hot sauce options. Warm and cozy environment with a cute mural. Totally decent variety of food & drink options Parking And a lovely warm, clean, bathroom. Loving you right now, Chase Gardens!

I can always count on this being a good, quiet place to come do some work. Although people are steadily coming in and out, not many actually stay so there is always a table available. They share a parking lot with the hospital which can get busy, but I have never had issues finding a spot. They have a fun selection of lattes (like a Snickers inspired one) and carry a good selection of Tazo tea. We have tried their ham & cheese croissant sandwich (yummy especially when toasted), the breakfast burrito, and the Dirty Diana sandwich--all very good! I'm so happy they're open weekends again!

People working here are phenomenal!!! So sweet. I haven't been here in 4 years, and it's amazing to see the upgrade. More options, and beautiful decorations. Got a iced mexi mocha, and I'm in love

I have popped in here a few times over the years. Their drink selection has all of the coffee shop basics and their food menu consists of soups, salads, sandwiches, and wraps. The ingredients in the food are fairly basic, but nevertheless a delicious choice for a quick bite to eat. Their chai is made in house and is a complimenting blend of spices. The space is roomy and wheelchair accessible. With that all being said, they do not have wifi available so while it could be a great work space- do not expect to have internet access.

Went to the goth night (ghost something?) tonight and it was a blast. The bar is gothic style too…read moreso it's marvelous. I heard it's usually an alternative / low key queer bar, more like mixed to me, which is nice. I know they recently made a change about free events turning into free with a drink purchase, which is reasonable! I've been low to no income, to where $10 is a splurge for me. I never got to go to a free event, but if I can't afford it I just don't go! Gotta keep the lights on, and $5 for a goth night was perfect for me. I had so much fun, the music was sweet and the outdoor area was nice too. The dance floor is small- kinda as big as their bathroom- but very accommodating, everyone seemed to have space to do their own thing. The one thing that did puzzle me is that they had a sign on the bathroom that said woman and then said it was all genders. I feel like maybe just taking the woman sign off would be simple enough. The message seems to just be "no urinal". The bathrooms are clean and plenty of stalls though!! I can't say anything about the drinks or food this time around, just the vibes which are great :) Lots of variety of events here, I'm sure I'll be back!

Some of the other reviews were negative on their food...but our food was fantastic. The burgers were moist and not greasy. The waffle cut fries were hot and crispy. The bartenders work non stop to get your drinks and food out quickly. My daughter loved the churro style donuts (but they are messy). The decor is a D&D dive bar scene....so many things to look at as you wait for bingo to start. They just changed the rules and you do have to pay $1.00 per person to play bingo...but where else can you get that type of entertainment for a dollar. We can't wait to return.

We had spent nearly…read moreeverything we had to make the move, and my husband immediately had to start traveling for his new job. On our first morning in our new town, we went to The Original Pancake House for breakfast. It was a simple meal, but one we were grateful we could afford. When we asked for the check, our server smiled and told us someone had already paid for it. That small act of kindness made me feel like I truly belonged in our new home. It reminded me that even in an unfamiliar place, there were good people who cared about others. Since that day, every time we visit The Original Pancake House, we make it a point to pay it forward whenever we can. It's our way of honoring the kindness that meant so much to us and has stuck with me. Beyond the beautiful memory, the food is incredible. It's hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. Comfort food that tastes like it's made with love. You must try the Dutch baby! The ladies who work there are always so warm and welcoming, making every visit feel like coming home. Some restaurants serve great food. This one gave my family hope when we needed it most, and I'll never forget that.

Pancakes so golden, yet sitting too long-- They lost all…read moretheir heat and didn't quite belong! The Original Pancake House in Eugene is a charming, family-friendly spot with genuine warmth and stellar coffee. The casual, lively vibe makes it feel like the proper brunch destination you'd hope for from a legendary breakfast joint. We ordered their hero dish--a side of buttermilk pancakes--and the Irish Omelette. The pancakes delivered real flavor: fluffy, tender, with classic buttermilk tang. My only critique? They arrived cool, likely from sitting in the warmth window a bit too long. Off the griddle, these would shine. The Irish Omelette was more disappointing. Designed to be airy and light with corned beef and potatoes inside, ours was overcooked and rubbery--far from the delightful, pillowy texture it should be. For a restaurant with this history, execution should be consistent. The coffee and service were warm and attentive, which goes a long way. 3/5 stars. Worth visiting for atmosphere, especially if your pancakes arrive hot. Try during slower service to avoid the window-sit fate. The Portland location executes at a higher level.
