The pulled lamb is so tender and surprisingly free from gamy flavor, and whatever it's braised in does so much work making it irresistibly tasty. Then the tzatziki creaminess, tomato umaminess, and even the banana pepper tanginess really round out the flavors. Even the cucumber slices are perfectly portioned to add some crispiness and flavor. Fries come with the sandwich. I was hesitant since they were thick and also very brown. Fortunately, they were soft and fluffy inside, and there was enough crisp from the potato skins. They were actually a little undersalted too, but when I finally flagged down the server for some ketchup, I unlocked the code. For a few bucks more, you can upgrade its side to two babystacks of your choice (which is more reasonable to finish than the short stack). When the bill came, a total is provided if you pay by cash, and another if you pay by credit or debit card. The card fee is 6% of the subtotal, which is not stated explicitly. That is double the 3% cashback rewards on my credit card for dining! Needless to say, I paid with cash. After Memorial Day 2026, this business will reopen in a new location across the street, by the Galleria mall.
