Thanks Tom! Our first night in Sedona was great thanks to the amazing views, great food and drinks and awesome service. We were two jetlagged travelers going on no sleep after traveling from Maui and the espresso martinis perked us right up! The staff also helped us with getting great pics before it got dark with the beautiful mountains in the background. We had the delicious risotto, halibut, and lamb. We got too full for dessert, but we will make sure to save room next time! read more

Let me first share that we dropped over $300 here with a couple meals, appetizer and a couple drinks each. For that kind of money, I'm expecting some amazing food. Had the pork belly which was really good but we only got 3 tiny pieces. Seasonal vegetables were so oddly done we almost didn't touch them. The halibut was dry, so I'm assuming it was from California not Alaskan. The old fashioned drinks were on point, though. However, the ambience was awesome. And there was an amazing sax player making some amazing background music. He was the star of the evening! He really made the night. Second time was the charm for us! Post covid this was one of our first dine out experience. I was happy with the outdoor seating with gorgeous views of Boynton canyon. They had limited menu but there was something for every dietary choice. Disposable menus, servers wore mask, tables spread apart. One of the best views in Sedona and the food was delicious ! We went for lunch (we were not guest at Hotel). The service was very good too.

Overpriced and overrated. We love nice dinners and have no problem paying $200+ for the right experience but this was not it. We had reservations weeks in advance. We were seated at a table that should not have even existed. It was the first table so you were in the walkway for every server and it was right next to double doors to the patio that staff constantly went through and just let the door close on its own making a knocking sound each time. We had drinks and apps that were fine but neither of us were ever offered a drink refill (soda) or second drink (cocktail). The only standout food item was the rosemary biscuits and the steaks. But I have a food allergy so they could not give me the sauce for the steak. That was surprising. Most nice restaurants the chef always offers to make me my own simple sauce. The sides with both our steaks were flavorless. We got the signature dessert, Canyon Fusion. It was one of the few times I did not bother to eat the whole dessert. It only succeeded at looking fancy, but failed on tasting good. read more

We had a horrible experience at Dahl and Diluca, but we're so thankful that Che Ah Chi saved the night for my friend's birthday celebration after the atrocious treatment we received. Restaurant is great, but, the only problem is that, if you you are not staying at the resort, they will not let you past the gate.

This place is best if you're a pretty adventurous eater. I wouldn't bring Aunt Maisie here if she's used to the broiled chicken special down at Pat's Diner. If you don't like to be challenged by a menu, then this place may be best as a spot for a cocktail on the patio. But if you do enjoy working through a creative menu, you'll probably find this an enjoyable place to experiment. I had the braised rabbit appetizer over corn risotto. My waiter was a little nervous when I ordered it and confessed that some people don't like it when they have not tried rabbit before and aren't aware what to expect. I've had it before and am aware that it is a strong flavor (I don't want to say gamey, because that implies bad, but it is gamey in the sense of tasting wild and strong.) I loved the rich flavor and enjoyed the dish very much. For the entree, I had perfectly-cooked sliced bison with a "three sisters" succotash that was not your normal lima bean and corn deal. It had baby squash and local beans in a very different preparation. Again, very good and not something you can get just anywhere. I had an earlier reservation and it was kind of dead when I got there, but as the sun started to go down the patio completely filled and some large parties came into the dining room, so it turned out to be quite busy. More servers appeared and everything ran very smoothly. And, as everyone has noted, the view is stunning. read more

Great atmosphere and views of Boynton Canyon. Service was great. Food was delicious, but pretentious-I prefer comfort foods taken up a notch as opposed to a menu of ingredients that you have to Google to learn what they are. Only dish we really didn't like was the Ceaser "salad" which was just a 1/4 wedge of romaine presented on a flat slate with a drizzle of dressing. Dinner under the stars is the best ambience here. The food is prepared well if you stick to the main entrees and salads. We had the pork panini with fries and the bread was dry but the fries were ok. They are super thin so they get cold fast. The Service is all areas you go at Enchantment Resort is welcoming and sweet. They do cater to exclusive parties, so you can't come here without a reservation. The gate guards will ask you to make a reservation before letting you enter. After your meal walk around the breathtaking views of the canyon. Stargazing from the patio is so magical. come and enjoy a Prickly Pear spritzer and just relax. read more

A group of 6 of us were staying at the resort, celebrating a birthday and graduation. Rosie our bartender/ waitress was absolutely amazing and made us feel right at home. Her service was truly incredible and she made our experience perfect. The food was great, and Rosie provided us with some of her favorites. Her espresso martini was to die for. Disappointing. Nice service but just meh food. The branzino was excellent but was very small and not enough of a meal.. Soups were pretty good. The burrata appetizer was just ok. Persimmons were not the right pairing or too thin. Venison mole was tender and not gamey but nothing special and marshmallow side was too sweet. Porkchop was fatty and just ok. I would avoid this place for dinner. I know this place is exclusive and expected the restaurant to be pricey, but this was silly. OK, the bison and wagyu beef was good but pricey as expected 65 and 55 $ each. but the appetizer of shrimp toast was nuts as seen in the pic. one piece about 1" X 3" with two raw shrimps and mayo was $18! For a table of 2. I don't know what the 'chef' was on but s/he could have put at least two on the plate. Better yet drive down the road and get yourself a pizza in town. Celebrated our wedding anniversary here last night. Although it's been a few years, we've always loved coming to Enchantment, and always have a few meals at their three restaurants. The view is breathtaking. Breakfast is a must - good food, median value - most everything is in the mid 20s range, but with the view and generous portions, it's worth it. Dinner, not so much. My husband and I shared the so called duck breast entree and a roasted vegetable entree. At $55, the duck entree came with literally two bites, and a full plate of israeli couscous, with no sauce or special flavor. The vegetable plate was nicely plated, with beautiful mushrooms and "forbidden rice" - $40! and zero flavor. I had to heavily salt everything; didn't want to fuss since it was a special occasion, and we were also treating our friend. THEN we ordered the honey creme brulee dessert sampler. Not even half size, then a couple other honey items and "textures". Tasted like an eraser and again, disappointed. The kicker, because it's nighttime, you don't even get the view. We've decided we will not return for dinners here. No redeemable features. We love the breakfast, but will only eat at our much preferred Tii Gavo next door. read more

Great food, Great Service and great ambience you have to check out the elk with mashed potatoes for your entrée and for dessert the five layer chocolate cake. Add chocolate drizzle, and a side of vanilla ice cream and have them warm it up for 20 seconds. The cake is super shareable. At least up 4 people. read more

We made reservations for my girlfriend"s birthday. We started off at the bar and had a delicious cocktail along with generous glass of Pinot Nior. We then made out way the our table. The service and the setting were amazing! All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and polite! We ordered the peach bursts which had a nice flavor although the peach wasn't quite ripe enough. We each ordered a fish dish. My girlfriend had the halibut which was overcooked. I had the salmon which was bland. It came in a watery sauce which I was not a fan of. If the sauce would have been creamer, it would have been better. I felt I was having some soft of fish soup. They were super kind and brought a white cake mouse with mixed fruit filling. Unfortunately was not very good either. I hate to say the meal was very disappointing especially relative to the price point. Overall amazing staff, great ambiance, good drinks, but the particular dishes we had were not very good at all. read more

Terrible experience. We were early for our dinner reservation with another couple celebrating both of our Anniversaries. We planned to sit at the bar and have a drink and take pics. We were turned away by the attendants at the gate and told we could not enter until 20 minutes prior to our reservation. It was not stated anywhere in our reservation that this was their policy. There is nowhere nearby to go and wait. They were completely rude about it and would not make an exception, it ruined our evening which should have been about celebrating. The night prior we dined at L'Auberge de Sedona and had completely the opposite experience. They were warm, inviting and every person we encountered was engaging, not to mention the ambiance and food were incredible. If you're choosing between the two, its a no-brainer! read more

We weren't staying at the enchantment resort and when we called to make reservations the front desk definitely make it clear outside guests are second class compared to their resort guests. The setting and A+ service from the restaurant staff more than made up for that. The duck is excellent The cocktails were standard. We probably won't be back but I'm glad we tried it out. read more

Confused by any review that is less than 4 stars... I live in nyc and am fortunate to eat in some incredible restaurants and Che ah chi surely is in the same league. The staff is incredible, knowledgeable and passionate about the local ingredients that they source (Ted was amazing!). The food is very good. No it's not cheap, but the portions are good, the ingredients are fresh / sourced locally, and it's a very high end resort - so while not cheap, it's inline with what you may spend to stay at enchantment. It seems a lot of people are knocking this restaurant as enchantment will only secure their reservation's reservations for resort guests that are staying overnight. As a guest at the resort - it's nice that it wasn't overly crowded and that we are able to enjoy our vacation in a pleasant environment. The resort offers other nice amenities like an outdoor fire pits, tennis etc that I would not want to have to compete for with people that are not staying at the resort. So I appreciate that they reserve their space and hospitality for resort guests, which likely helps them to maintain their reputation and not get stretched too thin. If you have the budget for enchantment, I highly recommend it. It's special, has a great location, amenities, and incredible food onsite such as Che ah chi. Thanks again Ted! read more

Breakfast in Sedona with a few friends. We came to the restaurant early in the morning to have a beautiful view of the red mountains. The food wasn't WOW but it wasn't bad. I had the pan cakes one more. The second morning I had eggs Turkey bacon The Turkey bacon was more like rubber than Turkey. The coffee wasn't that bad but the damn flies destroyed us. Every time we came to eat there was fruit flies everywhere. I was losing my mind. I don't even know why I went back a second time but those flies were reallly bad. There must be a way to handle that to make the meal more pleasant but over all the view and experience there wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed the red rock view and being with my wife that I love more than anything or anyone else in this world. I think eating at this place was the only option we had other than room service but it was definitely a decent option. read more

We came to Che Ah Chi for our 32 Anniversary! It was amazing! I had the Venison Mole' It was perfect! My wife had the pan fried Branzino! She loved it! We had the Quail appetizer and the Prickly pear salad. We split both of them! Incredible! Tom was our waiter and described everything perfectly! I also recommend the Chipotle Hibiscus Margarita using house Chipotle infused Tequila. It's a little spicy but wow so good! Atmosphere amazing and the staff is spot on and not overbearing but definitely attentive. The small biscuits (amazing) and the Kale salad crazy good. Uggh...I had high hopes for the Elk Osso Bucco but it was tasteless and unnecessarily drowning in broth which smothered the underdone polenta. I never add salt to food anymore but I made an exception. Such a disappointment. The chicken was very good but it is chicken and although the cheapest option on the menu...not as good as Cracker Barrel on a busy Sunday. And stop leaving so much stem on the broccolini...every restaurant does it. The drive up to the resort was breath taking but the meal was not worth what was paid. There are two other restaurants at this resort...so next time I'll try another. read more

Pretty disappointing to say the least. Food: a filet mignon was salty almost beyond being edible, and a panna cotta dessert on a hundred dollar prix fixe menu was inedible -grainy and flavorless. They served venison with marshmallow. What in the name of heaven. It would have been cute but the prices were so inflated. And we're from nyc so used to high prices! A seventy dollar pork chop? No. A mushroom risotto was bland without the wild mushrooms to justify the price. All in all Just not very good food, service was very slow and waiter was overbearing. Didn't help that we were sat at a pretty lousy table and they would not change it when I asked. Staff were walking around with a hand behind their back pretending it was fine dining but the food was just dressed up mediocre hotel food at inflated prices. Go off property instead!! read more

Food: never had kalettes before but they were so so yummy!!! Crispy and delicious. The potato pave was eh- nothing special. Like an au gratin without all the good stuff, didnt love it. Also got the soup- i think squash? It was so yummy!!! A little spicy, even, but very flavorful. The veg pasta was the bomb! I was so stuffed by the end I couldnt fully enjoy it. The portions are fairly small, so we were able to order a lot of things. Finished with the pumpkin cheesecake profiteroles - was room-temp, a little too sweet. Not great. Service was really good- not a ton of people there on a December friday night. But a good time nonetheless. read more
