Husband and I are staying here for some much needed R&R. Decided to stay on property for breakfast this morning. We opted out of the breakfast buffet because -a) it did not look appetizing, especially the trays of food with no coverings and b) $24.50 /person seemed quite steep. Now the view is fantastic so worth some up charge, agreed. I opted for the Huevos Rancheros and hubby had the Arizona Omelette. Hands down, Mine was the best. Just the right amount of spice for breakfast, everything cooked great. Service is a bit slow, but we are in no hurry this week. All in all ended up being $51 in total so you'll pay $25/person anyway unless you have some hotel package. Just coffee to drink, hadn't moved on to the Mimosas yet! Now on to dinner, at which point this moved to five stars. First; don't miss the lobster bisque, $8 for a cup but you won't regret it. Cognac whip on top and mushrooms/chunks of lobster? Heaven in your mouth. Next we did the Burrata- check out my picture. Build it, toast, Burrata, prosciutto, Apricots, then drip the honey on top. OMG amazing. We finished with the Alaskan Halibut and the mushrooms. The Halibut was great, the mushrooms were good (we were told chef picks these somewhere on his own). Very good meal, service by Connie and team was excellent and boy, you can't beat the view. We each had one glass of Pinot Grigio, total bill $116 before tip. read more

Pretty good food in Sedona. Stayed at the resort so decided to go for dinner- the dining room is kind of dim at night, but the ambiance is good. Food: never had kalettes before but they were so so yummy!!! Crispy and delicious. The potato pave was eh- nothing special. Like an au gratin without all the good stuff, didnt love it. Also got the soup- i think squash? It was so yummy!!! A little spicy, even, but very flavorful. The veg pasta was the bomb! I was so stuffed by the end I couldnt fully enjoy it. The portions are fairly small, so we were able to order a lot of things. Finished with the pumpkin cheesecake profiteroles - was room-temp, a little too sweet. Not great. Service was really good- not a ton of people there on a December friday night. But a good time nonetheless. read more

Pretty disappointing to say the least. Food: a filet mignon was salty almost beyond being edible, and a panna cotta dessert on a hundred dollar prix fixe menu was inedible -grainy and flavorless. They served venison with marshmallow. What in the name of heaven. It would have been cute but the prices were so inflated. And we're from nyc so used to high prices! A seventy dollar pork chop? No. A mushroom risotto was bland without the wild mushrooms to justify the price. All in all Just not very good food, service was very slow and waiter was overbearing. Didn't help that we were sat at a pretty lousy table and they would not change it when I asked. Staff were walking around with a hand behind their back pretending it was fine dining but the food was just dressed up mediocre hotel food at inflated prices. Go off property instead!! read more

Pros: Location and views are stellar. My server was amazing and very attentive. The dessert (Lavender Cake) was To Die For and I literally felt like I was back in Paris for a minute. Cons: When I arrived (yes, I was a hotel guest and had made a reservation 2 days prior to celebrate my birthday), the hostess asked if I wanted to sit outside and if so, it'd be a 30 minute wait... Yes, considering the circumstances (COVID), I would've liked to sit outside and if that was even an issue, it should've been mentioned at the time the reservation was made, not after. As far as the tomato melon salad goes, who leaves the STEM in the tomatoes?! I tried to remove it and the dressing splattered everywhere, which was rather embarrassing and almost ruined my dress. The "trout" aka salmon was edible, but unremarkable. Long story short, the desserts are fantastic. Run, don't walk to this amazing restaurant... if you're lucky enough to stay at the Enchantment Resort, that is! We at at Che Ah Chi (the Native American name for the canyon) two consecutive nights and loved everything about it. Sit outside to enjoy the incredible mountain views. Our servers were extremely knowledgeable about sourcing, pairing, and everything about all the dishes. The only criticism I can think of is that the waiter on our first night steered me away from their specialty dessert, saying "it's just a plate of chocolate chips." I ordered it the next night and it was great! My husband had the steak (not pictured) which is among the best he's ever tasted -- juicy and perfectly cooked. I had the scallops one night and the bison the next; both delicious. We were able to drink our wine, take our time, and savor the moment. Highly recommended! read more

This is one of the most incredible restaurants, and views of Boynton Canyon. Specifically, the lounge, called the View 180, is just a spectacular place to eat, drink, and sit in the majesty of the red Rock which it faces. I love this place and reservations are not required. read more

My friends and I decided to splurge for brunch to check out Enchantment Resort, since we were already in Sedona and all. For the location, I felt that the price point was not terrible ($10-20 range). We also had the most excellent service from Miguel, who incidentally had been our bartender the prior night for a wedding at Seven Canyons. The omelette was kind of plain, but the fruit plate and chorizo were pretty damn good. The view is what you pay for, of course. You get a panoramic view of the red rock as you dine, which feels surprisingly serene the more you spend time here. I don't think Enchantment is worth the hype (but then I didn't splurge $$$$ for spa), but it's still worth checking out in Sedona. read more

Overpriced and underwhelming. Views at breakfast were beautiful but the service and food leave a LOT to be desired. Had breakfast with my family this morning. Miguel was our server. He started off by asking for our drink order, took my husband's coffee order and then my coffee order but then started to leave while I was ordering a smoothie and didn't even wait for my parents to order. We managed to interrupt his exit strategy to finish our beverages. Smoothies were good, fresh, tasty. Coffee was standard. For food my husband tried the buffet, mom had eggs benedict, dad had huevos rancheros, I had the breakfast pie. Buffet was abominable - nothing was hot, best things were the fruit and the charcuterie and those aren't even cooked. English muffins on the benedict were hard as rocks and looked burnt. Huevos rancheros were fine. Breakfast pie was tasty but the "flaky" crust was actually completely undercooked (see photo). Miguel didn't come back to check on us until I'd eaten most of it and we're on a time crunch so couldn't exactly send it back. We asked for the check and he took 15 minutes to come back to pick it up. Not sure where he went for that long. Gratuity was unfortunately (for us) included otherwise it would have been a paltry amount. I suppose they have to do that so we can't show them how we really feel. Views are all this place has to offer. Come for a drink maybe. Don't get the food. Pockets will be empty and you'll probably be angry leaving. read more

Absolutely amazing food and absolutely amazing service in an absolutely beautiful setting. My husband is a rib eye steak consieur and orders them at just about every restaurant we go to. He declared Che Ah Chi's one of the best he's had. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection! The service was impeccable, on par with the best restaurants. Food, drinks and the bill were fast. Recommendations were spot on. The kids' dinners came in mere minutes. We sat outside in the 100 degree weather because the kids are unvaccinated. After our second request for more ice for our ice water, they brought us an entire bucket of ice to keep us and our waters cool! We all left full and happy. Highly recommend Che Ah Chi!! read more

Dinner here was fantastic! During our stay at Enchantment we had dinner here twice. During our first visit we ordered the following: -Filet Mignon -Ribeye -Scallops -Brussel sprouts (side) -Chicory and Arugula Salad To start, the salad was delicious. It had a light vinaigrette dressing with goat cheese and roasted walnuts which added so much flavor and just the right crunchiness. The meat, was cooked to perfection! We ordered Medium-Rare it it was seriously just right and super juicy. (No need for any steak sauce) Both plates came with a little bit of sides which we were supposed to see as they had a whole order of sides. On the Filet was sautéed mushrooms, and very thin crispy french fries (a basket was given) The Brussel Sprouts, were a 7 out of 10. Well seasoned, but slightly overcooked. Scallops were cooked just right! These can be added to your meal! We were super stuffed and highly recommend. Second night, we had the Flank Steak and and special of Lamb. Both were to die! Drink wise, I really enjoyed the Spiced Pineapple Margarita I think it was. Their specialty of the Prickly Pear was good, but too sweet. Woke up with a headache the next day off 1 drink. Anyways, a must go place! We went at night when it was dark so didn't get a glimpse of the view, but know that it's equally amazing! Staff is great! read more

We went there for breakfast but I'm sure my pros/cons are the same as any meal there Pros: The views at the hotel were amazing. It had a very relaxing atmosphere. At first we were wishing we stayed there. Although it is a little far from the rest of Sedona. After we eventually got out food it was pretty good. Cons: Service was terrible. Took a long time to sit down even though we had a reservation. It was probably 5 or 10 min before anyone came over to offer us any drinks. They were out of half of the things we tried to order. It was confusing because the hotel seems like a 4star hotel or higher and the service just didn't match. read more

The view is amazing of course. We are currently staying at the enchantment resort for our honeymoon and we were told good things about this particular restaurant by a worker here. The server was attentive but the food wasn't what I expected. I ordered the halibut and unfortunately it arrived to me overcooked and the gnocchi type side accompanying it was rather cold. I was offered a replacement and an apology and was informed the chef did admit it was tough and overcooked. After my husband finished his meal and I'm still waiting for mine I was on my way to tell them nevermind because I was exhausted at that point and didn't feel like sitting there while my husband watched me eat since we didn't get to enjoy dinner together. My server ended up bringing the plate and this time at least the entire meal was hit and the halibut cooked correctly however it tasted as though it was drowned in salt which I expressed. I ended up displeased and paying full price for the meal anyhow. Definitely disappointed considering the food is quite expensive and due to the high end reputation this restaurant tries to uphold, I thought they would at least try to make right with my meal in itself after two failed attempts. read more

Read on a blog that this was a great place to relax and view the rock formations - and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros with a Bloody Mary. The eggs were cooked perfectly. My sister and mother ordered the Boynton Breakfast - which comes with coffee. Mom felt like the breakfast potatoes could have been cooked a little more. Our portion sizes were great (large). Usually, I stay away from restaurants whose names sound too much like 'Chachi', but in this case, I made a delicious exception at Che-Ah-Chi, which offers fine dining, high in the mountains of Sedona. At such high an altitude, you'd think the view would be the best attraction, but for me, it was definitely the truffle cheese rolls generously provided, as we perused a menu filled with fare foreign to this city dweller, like buffalo and elk. Feeling adventurous, we ordered buffalo, with a safety net of the gnocchi entree (just in case). After one bite of the buffalo, I apologized to PETA and kept eating. It was so deliciously prepared and tender, as opposed to the gnocchi whose texture was a bit strange. Why no fifth star? For my taste, the chef was a bit heavy handed with the butter. While Paula Deen might love her asparagus drenched in the creamy stuff, I would rather clog my arteries on my terms, saving the animal fats for my entree. read more

Absolutely fantastic! Wife and I had a phenomenal dinner here! The setting, service, and most important the food was awesome! Set right smack dab in the middle of the red rocks, it couldn't have been more unique and beautiful. Very romantic. We started with squash blossoms and they were very good. Then we split the beet salad (very generous portions on the split) that was a unique, colorful, and delicious starter. The entrées took it from very good to absolutely great! The rack of lamb was seriously the best I'd ever had! Moist, tender, flavorful. All you could ask for! Wife had the Wagyu beef. Also fantastic! Our plates were practically licked clean. I would most definitely return for another nice dinner and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. FANTASTIC! ...we also had 2 breakfasts here -- also very good!! We wanted a nice late lunch for our anniversary. We went to Enchantment resort. The casual restaurant was closed so we opted for Che Ah Chi - the fine dining option. We were surprised that the menu was sandwiches and salads. Very casual. The food ultimately was good. Southwestern chopped salad with salmon ($37!!). And a pork/ham panini. Service however was terrible - particularly in light of the "fine dining" label of the place. Basically we were ignored after our food was delivered. No follow up. No offer of another glass of wine. Finally we saw our waitress and said we wanted to have a drink on the patio with our bill. We did get another drink and bill but she never came back to run our credit card until we got up to leave. She said "Oh, I thought you were a room charge." So for such a reputed restaurant the food was average and the service terrible. read more

One of the guests staying at the resort raved about it, so we were excited we made a reservation in advance. Apparently, they get booked fast so make sure to always reserve ahead of time. We started off with a bottle of wine, the sommelier recommended Nickel & Nickel, a wine close to what we usually drink Caymus. For appetizers, we started with the pumpkin dumplings. Small delicious bites of sweetness, could totally order this is a dessert. I loved how it was topped with goat cheese. We also ordered the caramelized cauliflower, loved the flavor. Next came up the burrata is beet, can never go wrong with burrata anywhere. Ordered fish as the main dish and it was cooked perfectly. Lastly for dessert, we ordered the cheesecake. Overall, I enjoyed every dish at Che Ah Chi. Would definitely return when visiting Sedona! read more

The $$$$ price tag leaves a lot to be desired. Inattentive staff, slow service, wobbly table, $16 cocktails. For a restaurant that boasts entrees no cheaper than 43$ I expect top notch service. Hostess didn't pull out chairs to help us get seated. Waiter didn't come for 5-10 minutes. Drinks took that long to be made. Bread didn't come out until our entrees. Located on the magnificent enchantment resort - which is truly enchanting. This resort restaurant is unfortunately disappointing. Not sure if that is relative to my excitement preceding the meal and the unfortunate let down that may have led to harsher judgement. It's pricey - as expected - it's in an expensive top tier resort (no surprise there). The restaurant had a lovely view and excellent service. The menu is very exciting! I started off with the soup - the mesquite honey butternut squash soup - the soup itself had a wonderful texture but the complexity of the flavors advertised was more than lacking - there was no flavor. The soup was extremely bland and the decor - while lovely for photos provided a distracting gritty texture to the meal and an added earthy taste - which unfortunately there was nothing to contrast it to. The bread options were good and they offer a gluten free option. There was a corn based bread which almost seemed like a puff pastry which was salty and delicious. The carpaccio was a hit at the table. The corn donuts - were not. There was too much going on and unfortunately it was not complimentary. Everyone ordered steak - and we tried all the beef options. All were perfectly cooked and executed. My filet had a lovely truffle butter atop as did the other a la carte steak options. The sides were - okay. There was a corn pudding which was a favorite amongst my brother and mother. I think I was just over it at that point. The pumpkin risotto was also "good not great". The potato frittes are large - very large wedges - and I don't think they were seasoned at all. Left those behind. The deconstructed apple pie did not advertise randomly having cheddar cheese in it - but it did - which killed an otherwise decent option. The Cookies at the restaurant versus the ones delivered to the room were different somehow. The room ones were warm and delicious and chocolatey!! The ones at the restaurant with ice cream - not so much. I would have thought this would be opposite. The service was actually great - but 700 bucks later - I would have dined elsewhere. Disappointment at dinner but breakfast was better. This is the signature restaurant at The Enchantment and expected a lot and did not get it. Staff very friendly and attentive, after one day know you by name. We had breakfast here every day and found what ever we ordered to be well prepared, presented well and tasty. Dinner another story. Seated promptly by friendly staff. Took our severs recommendations for our entrees. Fish over cooked, dry and tasteless. Prime aged sirloin very little flavor even with the sauce, the kale on top could not be cut with a steak knife. Youngest thought the chicken tenders only OK. Oldest said her filet was good. We expected much more and left feeling we had paid way to much for a less than average meal. This beautiful setting could stand so more in the kitchen. read more

Heavy on the beans with a couple eggs and avocado. The refried beans overpowered all the other ingredients. So-so. The waffle is a MUST exactly as it comes. It was unhealthy but outstanding - maybe the best waffle I've ever had. The whipped cream (vanilla bean?) and banana really push this one into another world. read more

They have some of the best breakfast I have ever had in my life. Ate here three mornings and not one thing on the menu was bad. In fact, it was amazing. Also, came back at night to the bar and was not disappointed. They have a very fun drink menu and their bartender, Ardi, is THE BEST. So fun and friendly and gives great recommendations for the area.
