So glad this place was open late and my turkey sandwich was so fresh . I loved the service and the chill atmosphere here . The fact it's open late and there's a bar inside is icing on the cake !

We left a birthday party earlier than anticipated and stopped here for dinner on the way back home. My LTP and I both had Cheba Hut at least once in the past and their subs are pretty darn good. It's almost springtime (but it actually feels like summer) and they have a lot of spring decorations inside to celebrate the change of seasons. They also have a small bar inside and a very spacious patio outside, which I don't recall their Stephanie location (where I went when I first tried them out) having. Their beer selection is also pretty decent, featuring a few local beers, such as Atomic Duck from Able Baker. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think you can only order beer at the bar. If you've seen all my previous sub/sandwich shop reviews, you know that I love tuna! And yes, I did order a tuna sub here, called the Pacific Blue in a 12" sub, and this is what I had last time as well. My LTP got the La Canna, also in a 12" sub. Both subs came in white bread, but I definitely want to try the garlic bread option next time. It wasn't busy at all so we easily found a table while we waited for our order to come out and take it back with us. My Pacific Sub had two full pickles on each side. I've seen chopped pickles inside subs but not full pickles, so this was interesting. The La Canna had all sorts of meats inside, combined with the usual lettuce, onion and tomato. I did have my eye on their Pizza Sub, but changed my mind and got the Pacific Sub at the last minute. I got two things in mind that I want to try out next time; their subs on garlic bread and their Pizza Sub. Both sound very delicious!

Vibrant, artsy decor inside. Staff is very friendly and provide great, quick service. The names for their menu items also make me giggle. Definitely better than your typical chain deli subs. The veggies are crisp and the sauces are packed with flavor. There could be a bit more meat in their sandwiches. I would also be careful with which sandwich you choose. You almost have to have the munchies to enjoy them. Some of the chicken subs are definitely mid. I stick with the deli meat ones. I do appreciate that they have rice crispy treats that melt in your mouth and aren't rock hard.

There is a special place in my heart for Cheba hut! It's like a firehouse subs, but on steroids. The restaurant is psychedelically, decorated in the menu, comes with a flare of herbal Woodstock. I really only get one sandwich here which is the white widow and for good reason it is a chicken bacon ranch that I put on soft pillowy garlic bread. It really is to die for. They have Kool-Aid, which is a unique choice along with other sodas. I have yet to try the desserts, but they look very good with brownies and cookies being the staple. This location was great with a walk up bar and awesome little patio area.

This place is so good! Some of the girls at my apartment complex suggested this cute sandwich place with a full bar and daily specials. Bonus points because they're open late and full bar with daily specials. I love the kitschy decor and the fact that they have a 4 inch option so you can try out different sandwiches. First visit, which was an add-on through Door Dash. These are great subs! Just enough bread (I choose the garlic), and it's toasted with a light crunch on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. Lots of yummy toppings and sauce. I didn't do the shake because I'm not into Parmesan cheese, but honestly didn't even miss it because the sub had so much flavor! The Midwest Best was super yummy and the Kali Mist looks great, I was too full to try it - perfect lunch for tomorrow! Door Dash arrived fast with the order and the subs were warm and packed in foil. Great quality and looking forward to adding on with Cheba Hut again in the future!

I've never experienced a business like This, and at 40-something years old they Literally have the best subs I've eaten in my life. It's a standard sub shop. But with a charming, small bar in the corner with a decent happy hour. Stoner-vibes but in the best way possible. But AGAIN- the subs are to die for! I get the white widow. It's toasted to perfection and the chicken is supreme. Staff is super friendly and cool. Music is perfect, IMO. So fun. So tasty. Best subs in my life with a bar and cool people. Game over.

I've heard of this place and finally checked it out last Friday with my friend around 11:30! We ordered at the counter and I got the Midwest club! It's so delicious! I've been back 3 times since to get it. My friend and I sat at the bar to eat our food and got great service from Amanda! She was friendly and let us know the special on drinks they had! They have card games to play! It's definitely a stoner vibe with the menu and art decor so keep that in mind if you bring your kids in. I went another day with my husband and kids and the kids loved the pbnj sandwich and koolaid: my husband loves getting the white widow! Look forward to go back more!

My go to sandwich is whatever version of an Italian sub is, so in this case I had to grab the 5-0. Ironic to have such a tasty police sub at a weed themed restaurant, but this sub was excellent. Perfectly balanced ratio of meat and toppings and just the right amount of dressing. The garlic herb bread was fresh, nicely toasted on the outside and soft on the inside. I got the 12" sub (blunt sized) and it hit the spot. My wife got the meatball sub and had nothing but positive things to say. The service was a great both the woman who took my order and the one who made the sub were super nice and helpful. They also have a bingo night that I've got to try to get to some time! There's a bar inside as well so you can grab a brew while you hang as well!

I love a great sandwich but it's takes an exceptional sandwich to convince the rest of my crew to have it for dinner consistently and that's what Cheba Hut delivered. We did a pick up order and they were exact with their pickup time and it was super hot and fresh. The theme is fun but not too over the top. I'm excited to try other subs here and will be back soon!

Nice, fresh location with a cool wall mural, attached patio seating and bar. This was our first time visiting a ChebaHut. Their menu was extensive, all of which gives you a family friendly stoner vibe (never thought I'd put that word combination together). Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. We ordered 3 subs and waited less than 10 minutes. Taste: reminded me of a better spin on Quizno's. Definitely better than Port of Subs, Jimmy John, and Subway. About on par or slightly better (depending on the sandwich choice) with Jersey Mike's, Capriottis, and Earl of Sandwich. As a former connoisseur of Quizno's, I definitely recommend eating a toasted sub fresh on the spot before sogginess sets in.

Obsessed with CHeBA hut! Literally haven't tried anything on their menu I don't like regardless of which location. But I'm totally glad they opened this St. Rose spot and I always get the BLT! The staffs AMAZING seriously so friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to catch an event here, 20/10 recommend!

The garlic bread did not do it for me. It was just a bit dry for me and the marinara sauce was okay. The ranch was good a bit watery. The soda cup is cool, cool design. The sandwich never disappoints. So good and fresh not overbearing with bacon either. it fills you up but you don't free gross. I love the honey Sriracha in the sandwich I think it makes this sandwich even better. Definitely one of my favorite places to pick when I want a sandwich. I will definitely be coming back .

I am a longtime customer of Cheba Hut. I was excited when they opened their St. Rose location. I frequently make it my lunch spot. I had a visitor come in on April 19, 2026 who used to live in Las Vegas. #1 on his places to eat while back in town for the night was Cheba Hut. We showed up at 8:15pm to get a sandwich and the door was locked -- customers were inside-- and the hours on the door said they close at midnight. A customer exited so we came in. The manager runs over and tells us to "get out we're closed!" I asked why? He said "we're just closed, we're not making anymore food tonight you need to leave" (I'm sure you have cameras and can pull this up). Disappointed but we left. My friend is a General Manager at a restaurant so he thought maybe something was wrong in the kitchen but was shocked this person would treat us like this. As we were leaving a worker was standing outside and said "there's nothing wrong he just wants to go home. He's telling the staff to hurry and clean so he can leave" I will not be returning to Cheba Hut anymore. It's sad because it was one of my favorite places to go. However, I won't patronage a place that does business like that. read more

Omg I'm not sure what the young ladies name with the pink hair was and I feel so embarrassed that I didn't get her name but I just wanted to leave this review to say how amazing she is the services, the kindness, the smile everything about her aura was just a beautiful experience all of the staff was so very nice it was the end of the night and they were 30 mins from closing but they all had attitudes like it was the beginning of a new beautiful sunny day I was very happy and satisfied with the service it was better than a 5 star restaurant literally!!! This was by far the best experience I've had in recent years. Tony greeted me and gave me a rundown of the menu. He let me pick my chocolate cookie which was great. Nathan made the best sandwich I've ever had from ANY chebahut. Payton and Jude were friendly and made the restaurant look good because a happy staff speaks volumes. 10/10 recommended if you're looking for a top tier experience from your moment in to your moment out the door. Two different bartenders worked my drinks this trip and they both did a good job. I've enjoyed hanging out in Vegas off-strip and Henderson, I still have a fun time, I've gotten good food and drinks that weren't so pricy. They literally had their chips, salsa, water etc. 10 minutes before we did and we weren't even there. When we did get a waitress she was perfunctory and less than friendly. When I told her we were there for my wife's birthday her answer was "oh that's nice". Far cry from "we will make the evening special for you". We got our food which was fine but absolutely nothing. Throughout the meal the waitress spent all of her time chatting with the large group in the middle - obviously her friends or whatever because they got five star service while we were simply ignored. If we wanted to get a refill of a glass of water or in my father-in-law's case, some sour cream, had to literally get up and pull her away from her buddy table to get service. In addition, not a happy birthday, dessert nothing. So much for trusting the manager when she said that she was going to comp the meal or even at the minimum do something to celebrate the birthday. If we went to something as mundane as Applebee's my wife would've got a piece of cheesecake lol. Very disappointed in this place. We love the food but the service is just crap.

Made a stop at Cheba Hut today and honestly had such a great experience from start to finish. The place has that perfect laid back neighborhood vibe where you can actually relax, enjoy good food, and feel welcomed the second you walk in. Tried a little bit of everything -- the Kali Mist, the G31 roast beef & turkey, meatballs, and the garlic bread -- and every single thing was solid. The sandwiches were loaded, flavorful, and fresh without trying too hard. The meatballs especially were ridiculous in the best way, and the garlic bread disappeared way too fast at our table. You can tell they actually care about the food and consistency here. What really made the visit stand out though was the hospitality. Jake at the bar was genuinely awesome the entire time. Super friendly, attentive, and just had that natural way of making everyone feel comfortable without it feeling forced. Since it was Mother's Day, he surprised my wife with a complimentary Bloody Mary, which was such a thoughtful gesture and honestly made her day. Cheba Hut in Henderson is basically Subway with themed names. Once you get past the concept, the food is pretty standard deli-style ingredients, nothing really stands out in quality or execution. It's the same basic build you can get at a chain sandwich shop, just labeled with a different vibe. The overall experience doesn't do much to elevate what's on the menu. It ends up feeling more like a gimmick than a place focused on making a genuinely good sandwich.
