Only giving a star since I'm required to. This place actually sucks. Terrible food and service. 4sshol3s can't get my order right even when I ordered ahead. Took 30+ minutes to pick it up, WAITING in the drive thru. They decided to wait and ask what I was picking up 10 minutes after I rolled up to the window. Also, bacon was completely raw on my burger. Had 3+ missing items including a sandwich. The only way to get a refund is to call them which they don't even pick up. Place needs to close down. Read the rest of the reviews if you think I'm being dramatic. Don't go here unless you love terrible food/service. Everything here needs to improve. read more

Funny and a real Checker story. My aunt was visiting from Norway she is a food and restaurant critic at a large European publication. Having never been to Checkers we went. It was the standard affair, employees ignoring you as long as possible until rolling their eyes they stepped up and asked you order, followed by an additional 20 minute wait for your food during which time there were three or four other customers the whole time. Meaning not a lot of work. I imagine that would have been about eight hamburgers all together and it took them 23 minutes to do it. 23 minutes... when I tried to use my free milkshake coupon they refused to give me the drink with my meal saying the milkshake was the drink and could not understand that no I indeed paid for a beverage with my meal and I'm using an additional coupon. Flat out refuse to give it to me. Okay that's all right I knew they hired degenerates, but my aunt after eating says I love that place that's such an amazing policy they only hire the handicapped. I said what.... she said everyone there had a mental handicap that's great I wish more places did that. This was when I had to tell her no no one was handicapped they just literally cared so little that they gave you the worst performance possible. Her jaw hit the floor lol. She asked if we could go to another so we immediately to determine where the problem lay the direction of management or this particular place. We went to a neighboring one and got milkshakes. 19 minutes count of four other customers while there. She was blown away now she's in the other room feverishly working on an article to tell Europe about about the restaurant in America that doesn't care about their customers at all. If they did they would have change this it's been happening for years and years. Here's the thing Checkers where in God's name do you find these people. Its as if your runnung an alternate reality game where the enoloyees make sure to provide the wirsr service. You strictly hire the least qualified rudest uncultured individuals and must give bonuses to those that don't speak English because that seems to be a massive issue. Thing is no one else has this problem. Just you. Compare the customer service you get it at Chick-fil-A to that of checkers. One is Like A Slice of Heaven.. Smiles greetings thank yous makes me want to come back . the other is like it a slice of some third world countries prison and you're treated like you're interrupting their day. I'm going to be real it's embarrassing and this has transpired for so long if you cared you would have rectified the situation. imagine how much more money the company would make if their employees actually gave a s***. And im a really easy going guy... the fries are great and that is the only reason anyone gives you a single penny. You ask for people's money to give them the worst customer service experience in the restaurant world. And you ask money for that. I'm embarrassed for you. I went to this place 2 times when I visited the area. Both times I walked up and ordered. The first time was a pretty horrible experience. The guy that took my order was lost on another planet somewhere. It seemed like they had the competent employees working the drive through. The service was really bad. It took them like a half hour to get the 3 costumers in front of me served and about 10 minutes to get me my bacon roadhouse, which was sloppily thrown together. The food was typical and had that Checkers taste especially with the chicken sandwich and the fries but the Bacon Roadhouse sandwich wasn't made with love. I went back during the day and it was a totally different experience. I ordered a meal and paid for it all within a couple of minutes and was eating a couple of minutes later. It was a miracle. After the same amount of time on the previous visit I would have been wondering what was going on with the guy working. I got Checkers because it was convenient and easy but wasn't impressed. I came and ordered their new bistro burger and a checker burger with cheese and fries. The checker burger was great and the fries as well. The bistro burger on the other hand was awfull. The bread was stale and hard as cardboard, the inside had two of the smallest pieces of onions and fried onions i ever saw. It looked like crumbs on the sandwich. After noticing this i had to throw away the top of the bun because it was so stale not even the sauce that was on could it helped it. I was barely able to eat the rest of the sandwich. I know this isnt the best place but the burger was not very edible. I love their fries thou. read more
