I like to do carryout at cheddars. You can place your order online and they have specific spots for to go orders in their parking lot. You do not even have to get out of your car. They brought my order out to the car in less than five minutes from me parking. The portion size here are always good and one of my favorite dishes. Is there Caesar salad with an extra order of croissants.

Family friendly restaurant serving up homestyle cooked food for a reasonable price in a casual environment i ordered the country fried chicken to go.amd it was delicious . It came with a perfectly battered chicken breast, mashed potatoes ,green beans, texas toast and white gravy on the side. I was also given a honey buttered croissant which was divine. I could eat a whole basket full.

We got together for a family dinner for my mom's birthday. Cheddars is her favorite, the broccoli cheddar casserole yes! She loves to eat here when she visits me because there are none in the northern part of the state where she lives. It was 5 of us and we got our table less than 10 minutes of walking in. Our server Shelby, was outstanding. She got our croissants and drinks out immediately. Then she took our food order shortly after. Everything came out nice and hot without any issues. The sweet lady came and checked on us multiple times and the manager came by a few times as well. Since they caught wind that we were celebrating my mom's birthday as we left she offered to take a couple photos of us. We had a great visit and will be back and we will be sure to ask for Shelby.

It has been over five years since I reviewed this location of Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. I think five years ago they were simply known as Cheddars and now the "Scratch Kitchen" is also part of the name. The name of the game here is consistency. The restaurant still looks like it was built this year. The food remains consistently excellent. Service was very fast, efficient and correct at noon on a Thursday. I am still ordering the Cornmeal White Fish because it is hands down the best thing on the menu in my opinion. I only order one portion of the Green Beans now because I love their Red Beans & Rice. The RB&R tastes so good because it is exactly the way you would find it in New Orleans. They must slow cook their green beans too because they still taste awesome and are soft, just how I like them. There were plenty of parking spots available out front by the front door.

**0 Stars** A Total Waste of Time, Money, Energy, and Stomach Space This dining experience was a complete disaster, largely due to our server Bryson, who clearly doesn't care about his job. He was unenthusiastic and inattentive, forcing us to order appetizers via tablet after waiting for 10 minutes to be welcomed. To make matters more questionable, he even asked my 25-year-old boyfriend how old he was instead of simply carding him when he was already reaching for his wallet. The spinach dip was lackluster, lukewarm, and watery- tasting like it was made with frozen spinach. Despite requesting sour cream on the side via the tablet, it was dolloped on top. Chips and queso were mediocre, and our food took over 45 minutes to arrive after we were seated at 8:43 PM. It was supposed to be hot but neither tasted fresh nor warm--makes no sense. The ribeye was the only semi-decent part of the meal; seasoned well but didn't look appetizing and tasted rubbery- we brought the leftover steak home for our dog. Everything else was so disappointing. The cheesy broccoli casserole was passable, the Caesar salad was forgettable, and the rest of the food was underwhelming: the ribs were average, and the chicken was soggy instead of crispy. To top it off, the restaurant was dirty. Overall, this was the worst dining experience we've ever had. We had to start a note with the running list of complaints from the evening to add into this Yelp Review. Avoid this place at all costs. I tried Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen for the first time at the Greenwood location with a friend and I ordered the exact same meal. I was so happy with my experience that I left a 5-star review! I figured this CSK was closer to home so I wanted my boyfriend to try it, I was so excited in recommending that we go here for dinner. The entire dinner I kept apologizing for bringing us here. So completely and utterly disappointed.

We drove over an hour to eat here yesterday because we heard they started making the onion rings again. Only took how many years of complaining to get them back. Everything was delicious. Wish they would open a location up in Noblesville area. Everyone else is building restaurants here.

Overall, you can never go wrong with Chedadars! They have a large menu and you won't struggle to find something that sounds good. I typically get the chicken pot pie (which is phenomenal) but I branched out and got the grilled white fish today. It was pretty good--it's just always going to be difficult to beat a great pot pie, in my opinion. My partner got the steamed broccoli side and wasn't a fan. He said it tasted like it came from a frozen package. I'd recommend getting the green beans instead. Restaurant is always clean and service was quickly and friendly!

griled salmon with bourbon glaze, sides of carrots and beans & rice. #yum #ReviewsByRL

Had lunch with coworkers on Friday (7.19.24). Our server was very pleasant and attentive. We started off with the honey butter croissants they bring to the table. Sooo tasty! For my meal, I had the grilled salmon with bourbon sauce, and my sides were rice & beans and the sweet carrots. The salmon is actually also served over a plain rice, but the side of rice and bean with the andouille in it is very delicious. The carrots were tender. My piece of salmon was good and the side of bourbon glaze for it really made the meal. I ate everything! My corworker also had the salmon but blackended and a baked potato; my other coworker had one of the salads with fried chicken strips, which were three large pieces. #yum #ReviewsByRL

The parking lot is a mess and the sidewalks are crumbling. Chris is a small hole in the wall place, not fancy or upscale, but the food is amazing and Chris' family is welcoming and genuine. The menu hangs above cases of fried chicken, fish and potato wedges. Gizzards are a popular menu item. Chris takes your order. My husband wants a 3-piece chicken meal with cole slaw. I select a Buffalo chicken wrap that comes with fries. Ricardo, Chris' son, comes out and asks how spicy hot I want my chicken and I ask for mild. Wow, what great service! They tell us to grab some drinks and have a seat. The dining area is small with three or four tables that seat two. Most people come in for carry out. Chris laughs and jokes with a customer in Spanish as he cooks. I sip mango nectar. My husband's 3-piece meal has four pieces of fried chicken with a cup of cole slaw. The chicken is hot, crispy and moist, not too salty, perfect. The fried batter is thick and flavorful. This is great fried chicken. The slaw is finely chopped and creamy. My wrap with fries comes out on a beautiful white platter. The wrap is huge, and the chicken fresh, hot and moist with lots of crispy lettuce. The fries are batter fried and fresh. The portions are generous. My meal was delicious. Ricardo and his sister checked on us a couple times, thanked us for coming and told us their story. I felt like family. The food is easy 5 stars, as is the service. I'll be back. I want to try the fish next.

Then we waited to be noticed by the wait staff. And we waited, and waited. It took 17 minutes before anyone came to our table. We would have left but we had a $50 gift certificate to use. Finally someone came over. We ordered teas & an appetizer of flaming saganaki. We found it very tasty. For entered I ordered the Greek meatball sandwich. My wife got a cup of egg lemon bowl ( which is a soup she loves) & Keftethes ( with beef meatballs). I found the fries god & the meatballs & bread decent but the sauce was a little off to me which greatly reduced my enjoyment. It was just ok. My wife thought the soup was a bit thin but overall god with a strong lemon flavor. Her entree the meatballs were good, the green beans were cold & the roasted potatoes were decent. Overall she was meh. We ordered desserts to go. Baklava, Galaktoboureko ( custard in philo dough) & Oreo cake. Wife thought the baklava had an overpowering cinnamon taste which hurt it. The Galaktoboureko was basically sugar cream pie with philo crust. I thought it was ok but wife thought it should have been thinner. She also believes the to go containers aren't sufficient for these desserts due to the sugar syrup. The "Oreo cake" had one cookie to the side & was dry. When we gave the waitress our gift certificate she said they would take that off when they rang up the bill. She came back & the gift certificates were not taken off. I pointed this out to her & she went back to talk to whoever is running the register. When she came back she said she has no idea what's going on but they gave me a $50 bill to credit the $50 in gift certificates. My amazing wife surmised that they credited someone else's bill & gave us the $50 to make it right for us. Bottom line is all the staff we interacted with were friendly but the restaurant is very disorganized. Food was just ok. Can't say we were impressed.

My body's digestive system isn't the greatest. I tend to go for familiar staples rather than risk-taking cuisine. I have weird texture issues and don't really love my flavors all smooshed together. So, why do I love Yats and why did I insist on finally visiting this Avon location as I wind down my time working on my father's Putnam County estate (one county west)? It starts with the service. It's not what I'd call gregarious. It's calm yet friendly, hospitable yet not smothering. As someone who is introverted yet social, I feel comfortable here. It then goes to the atmosphere. Every Yats I've been to has a stylish, warm vibe that combines culture with art and just the right amount of humanity. Then, there are the prices. There are only a couple price points for Yats (unless you do add-ons like beer). Pricing is simple, consistent, and you know you can get a good meal for a fair price. I guess I should also mention the food. I don't know. I hate smooshed foods. I hate odd textures. I love Yats. I was introduced to Yats with the Italiano, a concoction I don't see often on their chalkboard-written rotating menu that always lets people know which dishes are began, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc. My other "go to" option is the drunken chicken. Both have unique textures and smooshed flavors - yet, I love them. Every location I've been to is pretty darn accessible. Employees will assist if needed, though they won't assume (which I appreciate). This location is accessible, beautifully decorated, and as soon as you enter you can't help but feel like you've entered a cajun world smack dab in the middle of Avon. Yats, a mini-chain now in Indiana and Ohio, was started here (right on College Avenue). You used to see the owner pretty regularly - a little less common now with 14 locations, however, the New Orleans vibe is present at every location. Good food. Fairly priced. Pleasant atmosphere. Yep. I love Yats.

I also tried Rico's Coffee from the brunch menu, which was so good and paired perfectly with the brunch vibe. I ordered the French toast platter, which came with four pieces of French toast, scrambled eggs, brunch potatoes, and bacon. It was delicious and so filling that I had to get a to-go box. The yogurt parfait was also really good, and everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their food and drinks, including the Bloody Mary options and tea. We ordered liquid marijuana shots as a group and these were great. One thing to note: we brought a cake for our friend and didn't know there was a $25 outside cake fee, so be aware of that if you plan to bring your own dessert. After brunch, we walked around the beautiful grounds, and a few of us stayed longer on the patio. The high-top seating wasn't the most comfortable, but the drinks and appetizers made up for it. The whiskey sour was good, and we enjoyed the crab cakes, calamari, shrimp, and Rico's dip. This turned into an all-day affair with good food, drinks, beautiful weather, and great company.
