We ordered firecracker shrimp as a starter and Michele got the Chicken Parmesan with a side salad and I ordered a Porketta sandwich, which is marinaded pork tenderloin, with a side salad and BC dressing. Delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

You can watch glass being blown and pottery being made through the artists windows. Highly recommend this place if you like local and unique art. Ps, you purchase your things at customer service. It was a bit confusing, a stranger stopped to ask us where to pay so we weren't the only confused ones.

The history of the tavern on the menu is worthy of your time. The owner, originally from Blacksburg moved from California to restore for his own home. Later opening the restaurant. His goal to keep the structure original and true to purpose as a tavern. The owner himself comes from a family of tavern proprietors. I digress too long! The FOOD ALREADY!!! Well as you have probably already guessed it was impressive and exceeded my expectations. Every main, every side was a home run. From the mash potatoes & gravy to the macaroni & cheese, backed apples and green beans, to the rarely found succotash. All fabulous! Only starter was ham biscuits which were good. Upon walking in, the host greeted us and told us his name was Dan and that he was the owner of the restaurant! It was really cool to see that the owner is truly passionate about his restaurant and will show up to put in the work, even during the later hours. It also came with a biscuit or cornbread, I opted in with the cornbread. The food was absolutely hearty and had pretty good flavor! My girlfriend introduced me to this place about a year ago and I fell in love. The waiters and waitresses are extremely nice and friendly and make you feel like your in your dining room at home eating with your family. They have never messed my food up and make sure your ok and get you whatever you need. The food is alright hot and fresh when they bring it to you. I try and tip as generous as I can when I come here because they definitely deserve it!! read more

I have yet to have a meal from this place that was as advertised! The staff are not friendly and most of the servers appear to be under the influence of drugs! Recently it was advised to get a hepatitis A vaccination if you dined at this location during a specific timeframe! My family and I did eat at this location during the time that the hep A shot was recommended. Thankfully we have all been vaccinated prior to this information coming out. read more

I absolutely love this place! Everytime i go to beckley I normally eat there, the food is always correct and I've never had them mess up my food and it's always absolutely perfect. I was hesitant to give a review at first because we were initially left alone when the hostess seated us, but our waiter redeemed the restaurant with excellent service and thoughtful attitude as soon as he was assigned to our table.
