Less than impressed with the food and the service. We got there after 9 pm and were seated right away. The waitress took our drink order but never told us about the specials or what she recommended. It took a really long time to get our food and when it arrived it was not hot. The cheese had already gotten hard. The waitress never offered to refill our drinks. The service in the place is absolutely horrid. We have been to this resturant several times since it has opened and the quality of service has gone down tremendously. Tonight, we literally had 0 service, the waitress took forever to get to our table. We she did show up, we went ahead and ordered. She brought our drinks and salads out. That was about the last we saw of her. We got our food and my wife asked for ketchup for her fries, a different waitress had brought out our food and said she would bring some back. She never did and I ended up swiping a bottle from the table accross from us. We ran out of drinks close to the end of our meal with countless servers, hostesses, and even the manager walking by and they did not even acknowledge that fact or offer refills. The food was good, I had the baked Spazana which was good and my wife had the Buffalo wrappers. She orders the wrappers with out buffalo as she doesn't like real spicy stuff. They put the Buffalo on it anyway but we never were able to send it back as the waitress was non existant. When she finally did come by, my wife told her about the wrappers and she apologized and went to get us the check and to-go drinks (they were our first refills). She brought this back and I laid my card down in the tray just happy to be getting out of there. A different manager came by and asked about our food. My wife told here about the food, she apologized and adjusted my bill so that I just paid for my meal which was real nice. Overall, the food on this place has always been very good but the service is horrible!!! With as much staff as they have moving around that place you would think that they would be on top of everything but they are not. Management is severely lacking and the one that took care of the bill tonight is the only one that I have seen so far that has cared or made an effort which I applaud. The first time I came, it was outstanding. However, the second time me my mom and her boyfriend came, we came in and waited 15 minutes for the server to come to our tables for drinks. For one, it wasn't even who our server was suppose to be. It was a random server that saw us and realized we weren't getting served. We got our appetizer with our food, it came out with our dinner. The food was great and the staff was polite to everyone but us. I was with my 4 boys and everyone was being seated before us; people that had gotten there after us. A bigger party of 7 or 8, a party of 3 and then 4. I went inside to ask and she said we were next and then another group was called. That's when I took my boys and waited inside. The little girl said they were cleaning a table for us now. When we were seated, we waited another 15 mins before our waitress came over and apologized saying she didn't know the hostess was going to seat anyone at that section. This was our first visit to Cheddars. The place looks clean and nice. However, our server did not appear for 20 minutes. Salad dressing was good, I ordered balsamic vinaigrette. Salad greens were mediocre at best. The chicken strips had some kind of thick gooey breading on them. I think this was supposed to be crispy, but it was too thick to be crispy so it was just gooey, doughy, I don't know, just gross. My husband's rib eye was cooked well, but it was very, very fatty, and gristly. There must be some decent food there, the place was full with people waiting. We will not return. read more

My husband daughter and two grandsons ate here this evening. When the food came to the table two of the plates had the wrong sides. My daughter and I both had the 6oz steak, we ordered medium rare, both steaks were overcooked. my husband and both grandsons had burgers and they were extremely salty. The black bean side was inedible and the mushrooms never arrived. We were there at around 5 pm when it was not busy but still had to track down the server for drink refills. We still left more than a 20% tip as the food was not the servers fault. We did let her know about the food and in my opinion, the manager should have come to the table. Excellent atmosphere for a family dinner. We sat outside by the fountain and enjoyed watching other people eat FOR AN HOUR! The staff was super friendly and the food was prepared gorgeously. We were skeptical at first because of a few bad reviews. We went anyway and we were so glad we did. The restaurant was clean the staff was friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious and came out of the kitchen quick. The salad was fresh and the chicken was moist and tender. I will definitely go back. My wife and I went here for a date night. It was an slightly better than average experience. It took 5 minutes for the hostess to acknowledge me and take my name. We had a 15 minute wait once our name was taken. The aesthetic of the atmosphere was nice. They were quite busy on a Sunday night. There evening was was nice so we waited outside for our names to be called. The outside was nice as well. Once we got our seats, it took approximately 5 minutes for a waitress to come and get our drink order. We had our selection picked so placed that at the same time. My wife chose the 6 oz. Strip and I chose the 14 oz. Ribeye with sauteed mushrooms. We both got salads with our steaks which was a $3.24 upcharge. It took approximately 10 minutes to get our drinks and our salads arrived about the same time. Our food arrived right on time (once we both finished or salads). Temperature of the steaks were right on, my wife got medium and myself got medium rare. Disappointed with the 6 small, cool mushrooms I got with my steak. Flavor of steaks was good but a touch unseasoned for my tastes. I got fries with my order and they were overcooked and very little seasoning. My wife got a baked potatoe and was disappointed there was no sour cream option. The price of the food was average. Our meal was $48 and we left a decent tip. My wife and I went to Cheddar's for a special dinner. I had the half rack of baby back ribs and chicken tenders. My sides were the mac and cheese and southern green beans. I was so full with half the entree that I couldn't even eat the ribs. Had to take it home in a box. The tenders were exceptional, the southern beans were very good but the mac and cheese would have been better if it had been hotter. My wife's dinner was steak, chicken tenders, coleslaw and fries. She said the steak was very good. We also had an appetizer of chips and salsa. The cheese dip was very tasty. For the money and taste this is one of the best places to eat. Just had lunch with a friend here. She had the chicken pecan salad. I had the 6 oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and gravy. All was delicious. I wanted to give a shout out to our water Patrick. He went above and beyond. A croissant didn't come with my meal and asked if I could get one and he promptly brought me one for free. You also get a free cookie with your first visit and he gave us two. Lookout for this joint. Our wait staff was some guy in his late 30s with a sob story about a stint in the military and a bad back. He kept ignoring our table after letting us know he was disabled. The wait for the food took over an hour, among rompa room style chaos in the kitchens. and by the time my plate got out it was cold. Let me start by saying that if Horrible Customer Service combined with subpar food and long wait times is your thing then by all means this is the place for you..no need to read further...go to CHEDDARS So we get a high table close to the bar and our waiter comes by and we ask for water and a peach iced tea..at the same time since we were famished we ordered the Beef Nachos first so we can start with those and also a Phillycheesesteak sandwich (Should have gone to my fave O'Charleys ) minutes go by and he comes back with a Lemonade ( Please remember this part ) We say we ordered water and peach iced tea..he looks lost and he leaves to get said items.. minutes later he comes back with peach iced tea and water ( Water had that faucet taste to it ) so my Wife and I go thru the peach iced tea like nobody's business. Another waiter comes by and brings my sandwich and no mention of our nachos which we should have come first..were like ok and we start eating the sandwich..no drinks on our table except for the water and the lemonade we did not order. our waiter comes back and with him are the nachos..no wait he says they ran out of beef and he took it upon himself to order us chicken instead, ok..wow..wow..so we are like let's make it work babe..I'm thirsty and I tell him more peach iced tea please.. Nothing..nada..nathan..I finished my sandwich and start eating nachos..no I mean the chicken nachos he brought us.. I'm slowly getting agitated as there is no customer's at the bar, but there are 3 bartenders, 1 guy writing down the names of liquor ( I guess he does not know which ones they are, we will call him Clown for now ) so this Clown and 2 other gals next to him and our waiter are bouncing all over the place but not coming close to us so I can ask about my drink? Finally I get up and ask clown what does it take to get a peach iced tea around here, to which he comes back with a snarky remark and I'm flustered so I snap back get me a peach iced tea and make it happen, I repeat make it happen..so he mumbles something and I go back to my table and sure enought the peach iced tea is in my table within a minute.. ( so you literally have to get your own drink at the bar and just say make it happen and it will happen ) Obviously I'm wondering what did I get myself into here, the night with the wife was already ruined.. so I ask the waiter for my bill and he comes back with that in like 10 seconds! Wow So I'm disgruntled and I give him my card and he goes back and swipes it and comes back quick again! What gives? I look for the second page so I can calculate the tip ( Yeah I was still tipping the poor guy but he was only getting 10% percent from me! ) And what do I see on the bill, the frieking LEMONADE! yeah the LEMONADE that we did not order, the LEMONADE that sat on our table the whole time..that's when I lost it..I lost it.. Now the lil dude is no where to be found and I go to the clown at the bar and say ( My voice is obviously a tad bit elevated at this point ) and I says to the clown this is the worst service ever can you please remove this LEMONADE that we did not order off of my bill? ( I was not ready for this ) The clown SHOUTS back at me! I shout to him he shouts back and finally I ask for a manager as I'm getting nowhere ! I literally walked to the front desk and say I need a manager now..!! ( What I should of told the clown is I need a manager and make it happen and it would have happened ) A couple minutes later a manager comes out, with our little waiter in tow..he talks to clown boy first, then he comes straight to our table and I mention the whole story and my wife says what kind of operation are you running here where your personnel can scream at customers? No answer. and I says is it normal for iced tea to take ten minutes or more? and he says yes, even tho no customer's at bar! and then I mention the horribel service on the clown at the bar and he says well I will talk to him in private..I says that is cool and everything you talking to him in private but in the meantime he is screaming at your customer's in public..and I say take of the damn LEMONADE off my bill and we will be on our way..My wife says to me calm down..!! He comes back and we make ammends..but still it is one of the worst places to go..I will never ever eat there again, never will I take my hard earned money there ever again.. O'Charleys has way better food, price and customer service has alwasy been good to me, Buffalo Wild Wings is excellent, even Olive Garden with the long wait lines is up there.. P.S. you maybe thinking do I wish the clown fired, I don't because I would rather he stay there and keep treating customer's the way he is and have CHEDDARS lose more and more customer's for the restaurant, because it will happen, and in the long run it will cost them more..word of mouth is everything in this town and I will let everyone know about their crummy service, horrible customer service and subpar food. read more

We arrived at 4:30 in the afternoon, and the parking lot was already full. We were seated immediately, and our server was prompt, with frequent check-ins. The food was great and reasonable. Our only snag was the kitchen was behind, and our food took a really long time to arrive, and one dish was 10 minutes later than the rest of the food. I really believe this is due to the newness of this location. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us updates often. Overall we are still happy with our experience, and will be back. read more

Had lunch today with a co -worker. We arrived at 11:50 and didn't leave until 1:30 due to poor service. We ordered an appetizer and after 20 minutes and several excuses from the server I had to get the manager who then expedited our appetizer. This was our last visit to this Cheddars location. My wife ordered chicken which was given to her cold; not the exterior..it was warm... but the inside was just shy of frozen.
