Caesar salad

Best croissants and food ever! Excellent service and atmosphere! Burger is amazing and croissants are sooooo good!

Cheddar's Queso Fries

The food was excellent. The buttered croissants were amazing, the cheese fries were delicious, and the ribs were tender and juicy. Overall, it was a great experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of food and taste. We were traveling through the area. We did call ahead seating from online. I highly recommend. They only give you so many minutes as we had to run in the door. It is like a Fridays or Applebees. It is not gourmet but was fine. They have discount alcoholic drinks. The garden salads were nice and big. I liked the unusual Onion Ring tower appetizer. My son liked the cheese curd appetizer. My bourbon burger was disappointed. Medium meant well done and no time to send back. The mushrooms and onions were minimal. I had to pay a add-on fee for the grilled mushrooms. The queso and salsa appetizer was good and came with a lot of tortilla chips. The pastry like croissants that they give you for the table bread was interesting.

Cajun Chicken Bowl

I have been to a couple of Cheddar's locations previously, but this was my first experience at this location in West Virginia. This one is convenient because it is just off the highway (70) and very close to a huge Cabela's. I have had better experiences at other Cheddar's locations, but this one was ok. I tried the Cajun Chicken Bowl. It really lacked a lot of flavor and was on the small side. Our server may have been having a bad day or something, but she really wasn't friendly and did not pay a lot of attention to us. Overall not a bad experience, but not the best one that I have had

If in the area, give it a try. Basically, on par with typical chains that offer similar food. It's a meal. Nothing special. On the louder side. Accommodating to kids and families.

Homestyle Meatloaf

We used to come here all the time before covid. It's just not the same as it used to be. The meatloaf itself was a 1 star but the service and fish made up for it. The texture reminds me of a veggie burger. Very affordable and the fish tank is a cool feature, but besides that, nothing special.

Pre-meal honey butter croissants

Always consistent, always great! Burgers, ribs, Chicken Fried Steak, just great American food. For a snack, they bring out croissants, topped with honey butter, warm, fall apart, with the honey butter spread across, soooooo yummy! I got the Smokehouse Burger, a half-pound burger served with bacon, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, sauteed onions. Of course, I always add Ranch dressing. Great burger, everything works great together. A yummy half pound burger, burger fiend happy! A side of seasoned fries, and an extra side of beer battered awesome Onion Rings. Cajun and Ranch for dipping. Always worth the trip!

I already started eating my salad when I thought to take a picture I requested no cheese and the salad came through just as I requested.

My husband and I are passing through the area and stopped here on Memorial Day at about 5:15 PM. A number of cars were in the parking lot and I was concerned there'd be a wait. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, who sat us immediately at a cozy booth. As soon as we sat down our waitress, Iris, arrived and took our drink order. When she returned, she gave some recommendations on the menu. I had the grilled chicken pecan salad and was very happy with my choice. The chicken was very moist and tender. The salad greens were fresh and the dressing that came with it. A honey mustard was perfect. There is a kiosk at the table and my husband and I played one or two games . We were surprised there was a $2.99 charge. The first game was already in progress and we started it on the fifth question out of 10 we then played one more game. Frankly, we didn't notice there was a fee for the initial games like that, but we probably just didn't look at it closely, but just for others to be aware so they're not surprised by the charge.

Toasted coconut mule

The food was so so. Had the monte crisco. Fries were cold. The toasted coconut mule was very good. The only reason I gave 3 stars.

Simply amazing...from the service to the menu to the food quality to the price. I wish one was closer to Pittsburgh.

What time is best without as much crowd for dinner?

I'm not sure about the location, but as someone who works in a bar & grill, I can confidently say that anywhere from 3-4 is generally a slower time for a restaurant..... Or from 830 on.

From the time we stepped in the door we were greeted and sat quickly. The waiter was to the table…read morefast and was very friendly and professional. I did not visit the restroom but the restaurant was pretty clean and seemed well organized. The food was your basic breakfast food but it was cooked well and tasted great. There was not to much grease and it was seasoned well. I love a good French toast and its hard to find anymore unless I cook it. This was perfect. The combination of the egg and the seasoning in it were great. I'd go back for that and the honey pepper bacon any day of the week. Thanks all for what ya do there for people.

First time and last time in this restaurant. I ordered an omelette with meat, cheese and mushrooms…read more When the server brought it out, it was laying in a pool of grease. I opened it up to find more grease and barely any mushrooms and cheese. I asked the waitress why it was so greasy. She replied, "I don't know, I didn't cook it." She then walked away. She came back later and said her manager said it was greasy because of the sausage. I told her I have had this kind before and have never had this much grease and she was not concerned and told me I could possibly talk to manager when I paid for my food. I ate as much as I could stomach and went to pay. When I got to the register a woman asked me, "How was everything?" I said it was disgusting. She told me my total and did not say anything else other than have a nice day when she handed me the receipt. Absolutely no customer service in that place from anyone. Unbelievable. Poor quality of food, service and management.

Pocha by Kye Won was a 34 mile road trip from New Castle, PA, and worth it! (It was a nice weekend…read moredrive in the country with the wife though, so the drive was fun too) I got the dol-sut bibimbap, the wife got the spicy pork with sweet potato noodles (those are the translucent lightly brown stretch noodles you find in so many Korean dishes. GET THEM instead of rice, or with rice if you have to have rice, just get these tasty, stretchy, noodles!) Kye-Won is who did the actual service for the food, and she is terrific. I'm VERY familiar with Korean food, and she guided us through the smaller, but well curated menu. There is no jujube chicken, no squid on a stick or oyster pancake. What they DO have is a rotating menu of kimchi ban-chan sides, all EXCELLENT! If you are disappointed by the banchan and kimchi you've had elsewhere, because it wasn't "hearty" enough, this place will fix that. I loved the place! Without reservation and unequivocally. Oh, and there's an outside covered grilling tent for AUTHENTIC Korean table grilled meats! (The Korean bbq) I can't wait to go back for that! Check out the menu pics, all current as of March '26.

My mom loves Korean and it's oddly tough to find good Korean in Pittsburgh. When my husband found…read morePocha, we had to book Mother's Day' reservations for my mom. Since we were at Grist House, I wanted to have a drink. I absolutely loved my pineapple mojito with vodka. So sweet and delicious! We decided to try some apps because they all sounded really good and we read about how much people enjoyed the online. We started out with the Mandu (Pork Dumplings) / 만두 were so crunchy and the meat and sauce were really good too. The scallion pancake was so crispy and flavorful. We all loved it. My husband also loved his Korean Curry Rice / 카레라이스. He's a big curry fan. My mom and I love Korean beef. We both had the bulgogi with noodles. We found out the beef bulgogi is cooked in fire so it was a bit more burnt than we could eat. We let our nice waitress know who talked to the owner. The owner personally came out to find out more, explain and make it right. It meant a lot to us. She remade the food with less char and it was delicious. It also came out quickly. Then she also took them off the bill. I tried to at least pay for one. It was only fair. She appreciated the gesture but would not hear of it. What a wonderful person! We would love to come back and try the Korean fried wings. Others had them and they looked delicious. I also love Japchae and would like for try that with chicken. So many good things on the menu.
