Came for a Philly cheesesteak left with another in tow! So absolutely on point! The owner was the sweetest! Definitely the taste of Philly!

Food: 10/10 ($15-$25/per person)…read moreWe ordered the pretzel with cheese, fries, and original cheesesteaks all in a different way and all of them came out perfectly! Tasted amazing! We poured some of the cheese on top of the cheesesteak and it was delicious! The meat had a very good tasty flavor, everyone at the table agreed it tasted really good. They use a very soft bun too! The fries were super crispy and the pretzel was really good with the cheese dip! We also ordered a French Dip to go and it was delicious also!! The Italian hoagie looked absolutely amazing. Anything you get on the menu will be amazing! Service: 10/10 We came in and it was pretty slow and we sat where we wanted with no problems! Our waitress was very nice to us, took good care of us & was extremely prompt; got our order right and drinks stayed full during our visit! We always appreciate a good meal with good service! Highly recommend coming here! (Reminder to tip your server!) Ambiance: 10/10 It was really nice! I really enjoyed the area, it has outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor area only has a few tables but the indoor area has decent seating. They have a lot of Philly decor and funny things around the restaurant to look at. We luckily sat at a table with a 25 reasons you know you're from Philly poster and it was really funny especially reason #1 lol. They also had some funny names for some things on the menu lol. I definitely recommend coming in and getting some original made food!

This review is specifically for their food truck at Slipaway…read more The experience started with pricing issues. The menu listed my sandwich at $15, but the cashier rang it up as $16. Prices change, so I let that go. However, for two regular sandwiches with tax, the total was $34.08. After I tapped my card, the payment screen showed PAID $35.10. They added a service fee without any warning, signage, or disclosure. Then the cashier refused to provide a receipt. The food itself was disappointing. The sandwiches came with no side and as you can see in the photo, there was far more bread than meat. This was a disappointing experience and not a place I'll be returning to.

I frequent the plaza this restaurant is in, and on a whim, tried the Philly Chz Steak. I am from…read morethe Philadelphia area and I am always in search of a close to home Chz steak sandwich. So last night I ordered a Large Chz Steak, with American Chz, peppers and onions w/mayo. I didn't eat it there but got it to go. I am going to say, this Chz steak was the best I have found down here in Cape Coral/FM area. Actually, it may be better than Jim's, in South Philly (that is if it's still in business since it burned down 3 years ago.), and Jim's was always my favorite go to. Anyways... This place is clean, the service was outstanding, and the peeps behind the counter are engaging for a convo (if it isn't too busy), and I may just make this my weekly Friday outing stop, and will try the fish fry next, as I am always looking for a good Fish and Chip joint. Several years ago, when this place was just Pete's Fish, I did have a fish fry and it was great!!! So I only assume the new owners carried on the fish fry recipe, which is good. And thanks for a great Chz steak sandwich!!!!

If you're looking for traditional English fish and chips then this isn't for you. The food is…read morereasonably priced and is edible but not the best I've had. We came especially for the fish and chips as that was what my wife was craving. The large is just 2 pieces of fish not a full filet. She enjoyed hers but I was not impressed. It's counter service but they still ask for a tip at checkout which seems to be the norm nowadays. The place is pretty basic inside but was clean. We didn't try the cheesesteaks or wings so this is just a review for the fish and chips.

As we passed the Food Court in Edison Mall, we noticed a Charleys Cheesesteaks counter. When I…read morethink about Philly Cheesesteak, I immediately see the hoagie roll is packed with finely chopped rib-eye, caramelized onion and mushroom with provolone cheese is mixed just right. But wait, Charleys is known to promote the Philly Cheesesteak from the Old School Cheesesteak, to Chicken Philly, Chicken Buffalo, Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken California, Bacon 3, veggie Delight and finally Kimchi Cheesesteak. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and a bacon and cheese fries. A quick search on Charleys web site stated that "Our Philly Cheesesteak is made with grilled USDA-choice steak, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions topped with melted provolone cheese and served on our signature toasted roll. This cheesesteak comes with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickle." OK, I got lettuce, tomato, mayo and pickle on my Philly Cheesesteak. One bite and I found the sliced beef was dry and tough. Mushroom was missing. Oh, well! The bacon cheese fries were a disaster. The bacon was so salty that I have to wash it down with my soda. The potato was barely fried and limpy. This doesn't taste like a finished product. One great news, the service was quick, and the young ladies at the counter are friendly and smiling! Will I go back to Charleys? Not in near future!

Definitely not bad. I'd never been to one. I must say that it's pretty consistent and I like that…read more My friend had the Philly cheesesteak and I had a chicken combo. It was well made. Of course it's not gourmet but it is great. The customer service is good and they are quite fast. It's in the mall so it's loud but that's to be expected. I'd recommend them. Try the Classic Cheesesteak if you like cheese whiz on your Philly (it's a limited time offer).
