I ordered a pizza with ground beef and bacon - my version of a bacon cheese burger pizza. I have no idea what the beef was seasoned with, but it smelled like feet and tasted like what I imagine feet might taste like. There was something green in the beef. I just wanted beef. Plain beef. Had to throw the whole pizza out, could not get rid of that wretched smell/taste. It is not pizza seasoning, that's for sure. But they still get three stars because from what I could tell, the dough was definitely one of the better ones I've found around here, and I will probably try again, but I'll keep it really simple...as should this place when "seasoning" pizza toppings. read more

They placed a stack of menus condo building. I decided to give them a try. I ordered a large pizza as well as a 2 liter bottle of Coke. When it got delivered, they brought Pepsi not Coke. Both options were on the menu. I do not like Pepsi and would not have ordered it. I told the delivery driver, he just said we're out of coke. Apparently, not capable of calling me back. This place is a gem! I cam because it's walking distance from my office, but as soon as you walk in and smell the food cooking, you know you've made the right decision. I've ordered the sandwiches, salads, pizza and desserts and everything has been delicious! Bread is homemade and you can tell! Ingredients are fresh and top quality. Thumbs up for the flavor. Not as greasy as others I've tried in Bethesda, and a more than reasonable value for the buck.

I gave a try on new place, I wanted to get some pide, (flat bread), I ordered Lahmacun, which not every restaurant makes good. I enjoyed, close taste as I ate in Turkey. And I would like to recommend blue cheese dressing with wings. I am not blue cheese person but my fiancé got blue cheese, I tried and it was delightful. Updating my glowing first review below from 5 to 3 stars. Yesterday's Gyro takeout was (!) just ok. Meat was fine but no tomatoes just limp lettuce, red onions I hadn't asked for and barely a trace of yoghurt sauce. Had so looked forward to a repeat of first visit below. Volkan took my order, someone else in back brought it out. I'll give it one more try by checking order before leaving. BEST freshly made flatbread and pizza dough in the Bethesda area. Any sandwich or Pizza you'll order there during the week will be delicious, guaranteed. Nice family business, very friendly. My one and only weekend order was disappointing bc of mediocre store bought bread. Don't know if bread isn't baked fresh then bc it's weekend (?). Week day lunch it is. A total failure: crust is nothing under the toppings. I ordered a 12" white pizza with four toppings. I entered the toppings in both the special instructions and in the delivery instructions. Pizza via GrubHub was late as predicted in a text. Driver was the only one who did his job correctly. When I called Cheesy Pizzi the guy blamed the lack of toppings on GrubHub and then on a rush of customers. Not once did he offer to send a topped pizza out to replace the tasteless original. I had high hopes based on other reviews, but a terrible experience. I ordered mozzarella sticks and a margherita pizza; the mozzarella sticks were tough but on par with an average delivery place. The pizza, though, was drastically undercooked to the point of raw dough under the sauce, and even though the delivery guy got to me ten minutes early (good on him!), the pizza was barely above room temperature. I don't expect delivery pizzas to be piping hot, since they're traveling further--but congealed mozzarella on top of undercooked dough was disgusting. We did not know that Pizza Tempo was replaced by Cheesy Pizzi but we will have to find a replacement for the latter too. The pizza was dry, not gooey, and they forgot the mushrooms on one pizza. And like other reviewers said, there were hardly any veggies on the veggie pizza. Plus there was a piece of burnt something in with the mozzarella sticks. We were staying at a hotel nearby and searching for a place for dinner. I am nervous ordering food out of town since you never know what you are going to get with quality. Plus I have picky people in my party. After looking at other Yelp reviews we decided to try this place. My picky family was very happy. Pizza, mozzarella sticks, and salad was good. I tried the Chicken Paradiso panini and it was excellent! Some places have chewy gross chicken. Their chicken was fresh and tasted like it was right off the grill. We ordered take out and it was ready in 15 minutes. We will definitely go back if we are in town. read more

Update to prior review: the manager quickly reached out to me to rectify the one-off experience we had and offered our next pie on the house. Last experience was not normal given the ones prior to it so we were surprised and quite frankly sad. This pizza joint serves up fresh homemade dough unlike any I've ever had and the cheese they use seems to be of way better quality than your regular mozzarella. It has much more tang and creaminess to it than what you usually find when ordering a pizza and super yummy! Very happy to know that last experience was NOT their regular. Looking forward to enjoying our favorite neighborhood pizza spot again! read more
