And when you are in Joe's office, he will certainly let other employees come in and just start talking over you. After buying my Chevy Equinox from this dealership I came back to have general service twice. Both times they tried to muscle me into services I didn't need. The last time I went in for an oil change they wrote up $1000 worth of repairs they recommended I have done including my rear passenger side tire that was "severely damaged and losing air". I declined all the additional services and have been driving on that "severely damaged tire" for 8 months without any air loss. Today I went in for a new battery and was slapped with a $246 bill... for a battery. I talked to the service supervisor and the general manager about all my poor experiences there, how outrageous the price was for a new battery and they just did not care. They did everything short of say "Look how many dealerships we have with the name Keyes on this street. Do you think we care about you? Go ahead and write your shitty Yelp review." It's cool. Purchasing a car is inherently a difficult process. It does not need to be exacerbated by horrid customer service. I have bought several new cars in the past and have dealt with many different salespeople and dealerships (including other Chevy dealerships). This experience, by far, was the worst of them all. There are a myriad of problems I had with the purchase of my fully-loaded Traverse, so I'll keep it as brief as possible. The salesperson we dealt with was completely impersonal and inhumane. The transaction took almost 6 hours start to finish when we were promised after we made the fair deal after about two hours that we'd be out of the dealership within 30 minutes. It was by the third hour that I realized he didn't even know my name, even though he had been speaking with me for hours. In addition to which, he would not let my wife leave to get food for herself (her blood sugar level was low) in fear that he'd lose the sale. We had to leave so we called on Danny George, the sales manager to help expedite the transaction. Our needs were clearly not important to him as all he wanted to talk about was the deal we got on the car and "remind" us to give him and the dealership a "completely satisfied" rating on their survey. As a matter of fact, we were told about four times by different people to give them this high merit that they did not deserve. When I got the survey in my email, I was honest and descriptive about the transaction and the disappointment in customer service. It gets worse. We had to come back because there was a puncture in the leather they promised to replace in a week. While I was there, I spoke to Danny George. He immediately tried to shame me for giving them low marks on the survey and telling me it was my fault that his salesperson wouldn't get a bonus for three months. First, that's none of my business. Second, it is completely unprofessional to bring that to my attention let alone in the manner in which Danny George did. After this repulsive experience, my wife and I called GM's corporate office and filed a formal complaint against the dealership and Danny George specifically. Fortunately, there are several Chevy dealerships in the greater Los Angeles area to choose from and I have had good experience with some of them (Martin Chevy in Torrance is the best of them all). I tell you this so you don't have to waste your time and energy dealing with people who have no care for the customer, just whether or not they can get a car off their lot. Absolutely dreadful experience. I didn't even get to test drive a vehicle. Why, you may ask? Let me explain. I spoke with a salesman about a 2010 Toyota Corolla I saw listed. We made an appointment yesterday for me to see the vehicle today. I wasn't going to be able to come in for the appointment, so called the salesman. He told me there was an appointment to see that car tomorrow morning, so I should rush over anyway to see the car before it was sold. I drive all the way over to the dealership, canceling appointments and commitments to do so, and the salesman who was supposed to be helping me wasn't there. In fact, his colleagues told me he hadn't been in all day, despite the fact that I clearly saw my name, appointment time, vehicle, and the absent salesman's name on the dry erase board in their office. To add insult to injury, they informed me the vehicle had been sold the previous day!! I had spoken to the salesman right before I drove over and wasted all that time and gas money only to be told the vehicle was no longer there. I am very concerned with your Yelp review. I tried to call you. I would like to know what I did to frustrate you in a way that you would go yelp and write this review for me. I gave you information that you had requested based off the information you had provided. I asked you for details and I believe you knew the situation better than you let on. I never said "only $5000!" My email stated "Before we can get to that part," referring to your down payment, "I need you to pick a specific vehicle. It is all dependent on the vehicle price. An estimate is $5,000 down." I was as open and honest with you as I could be with the information you provided. I wish you were as honest in your review. I hope you can get out of your 2013 and into a new vehicle. I want everyone to know they had my trade information and I submitted a credit application. Dear Everyone, These guys very nearly made me eliminate the car I really wanted from my shortlist. I went in to drive the Volt on Father's Day. Was not 100% sure I'd lease that day, but wanted to give it a run. The sales person was not even remotely engaged in the process. I had to prompt him "tell me about the other features" in an animated voice that I usually use for my 5-year-old a couple of times during our brief-but-awkward test drive. We returned to the lot post-test drive. I didn't feel like I knew more about the car,'s features, or how to operate anything (besides the button to manually put my car in a more gas mode for uphill drives) but I did like the way it drove. I asked him to give us a price for a lease. They came back with a number higher-than-expected, and a little fancy song and dance about the 'why's" of the quote. I said, "Ok, if this is the best price, we'll keep that in mind as we continue our search." Which is code for 'Time to get your sales manager and make this worse,' apparently. The sales manager came out. I explained our situation, that I wanted to drive it - had a few payments left on my current lease, but if the deal was good enough, I'd be open to turning my car in early. He fumbled for justification that his deal was really good. I said again, "Ok, well if that is the ballpark for what we'll get here, good to know." And he said (probably paraphrasing at this point, but the last line is 100% accurately etched in my mind.) "Well, today is Father's Day. We have good deals. People who come in today just know what they want and buy it. We're not really listening to what people want today." Oh, okay. We'll be on our way... How did the story end? I got the exact car I wanted this weekend at Rydell in Northridge--for 23% less than the very best don't-want-to-listen-to-customers'-needs lease price they're offering over at Keyes. read more

Late but much needed review. BEWARE!! Took my husbands car there several months ago because of trouble starting the car. It would start after about 3 attempts and once started the car ran fine. I described issue to the service rep and told him that I believe the cable around the batteries may just need to be tightened based on how well the car was running. He said they will run a diagnostic and cost would be $138 or $139 (can't remember) unless I received service from them and in that case the fee would be waived. He NEVER offered to check the battery for a free, which is a service they provide and given that is what I came for you would think they would run a battery test first. I only came to know of the free battery check because it's written on the glass window outside of the reps office. Per the dealership we needed to replace the battery (about $200). They didn't have battery in stock, couldn't get it till he next day, and I honestly felt I might be able to get it cheaper elsewhere but they wanted me to pay the diagnostic fee since I didn't want to buy the battery there and I asked him why given that checking the battery is free. I was livid so the service rep said he would just charge me 1/2 of the fee which still wasn't good enough for me. We finally got to a point where he agreed to return the car no charge so that I could get a battery somewhere else. Car was working perfect when they returned it (they must have tightened the cables around the battery as I originally suggested). As I was leaving I remembered the battery on the car wasn't that old and may be under warranty at AutoZone...took it to AutoZone where they ran battery check... It was in GOOD condition and still under warranty. Drove next to Pep Boys just to be sure and results came up battery was EXCELLENT. I DO NOT TRUST Chevrolet Van Nuys from this experience. Trying to charge customers for things that aren't even broken and forcing customers to pay diagnostic fee even when a diagnostic isn't required. A business that is dishonest and lacks integrity is not a business that my family and I are interested in supporting. Not sure if the dishonesty came from the service rep or the technician but it's unfortunate. read more

The staff inside the dealer are great. However, the experience that I have from their online marketing is horrible, and their internet sales manager is really rude. And mocked me over email for not having knowledge of a salesman. It was just a bad experience. Thats why there are people who can assist us, not to make fun and mock us for our lack of sales, leases, apr , and etc... Knowledge. I'm so unhappy with my experience!! I had two issues with my recent service #1) When arrive to pick up my car, I had to stand around looking at the 6 employees for 10 minutes, while no one acknowledged me at all. It took me calling my wife to have her listen to a voice mail and then hunt down the guy who called us to tell us the service was completed. I guess it was more important to stare at their computers rather than help the customer who is paying their salary. #2) After dropping off my volt that had very little battery charge for service, and letting them know I wouldn't be back to pick it up hours after service would be completed... When picking up the car 3 hours after device, expecting the car to have an almost full battery... The car was still at 0% charge, the seat had been completely been moved, and they didn't even turn on the AC to cool off the car after sitting in the LA sun for 4 hours. Very disappointed, will change my service dealership, and no longer look at this dealership for cars for myself, my family or friends... as they look to me for places to purchase their vehicles every year or so (between the group of folks) read more

BEWARE: They sold me a non-existent policy for wear and tear insurance! In May 2013, I leased a 2013 Chevy Volt from Keyes Chevrolet. At that time, I was offered and agreed to purchase "Excess Wear and Tear" Insurance through Autoguard for roughly $9 a month, to be included as part of the monthly lease payments. However, when I tried to verify the validity of the policy with Autoguard in July of 2013, they said the dealership never sent over the policy and never paid for it. I complained to Keyes Chevrolet at that time, and they promised to take care of the problem. However, when I tried checking with Autoguard again in February 2015 (roughly 1.5 years after the complaint), Autoguard still had no record of the policy. Thus, as of February 2015, I still do not have a valid "Excess Wear and Tear" insurance policy, even though Keyes Chevrolet charged me for it. They tricked me into purchasing something that did not exist. Don't let that happen to you! read more

LONG story short, came to look at a car, kept haggling me even while my son was vomiting and we needed to go home. Well they used my son's sickness as a distraction to me and lied to me about a theft registration service. Arturo (the sales agent) told me that that a company would come to my office or home to engrave my car with a special code so if anything happened to my car it would be covered. Well guess what they never came, Arturo gave me the run around and so did EVERYONE I spoke to at that deal ship. A few months later I called again to get my $1,000 that I paid for the engraving and I'm told that my car has it and my car has been registered this whole time. WHICH IS IT?! Today I called because said car has been totalled from someone rear ending me, to get my GAP insurance information. Supposedly they looked it up and told me I did NOT purchase gap insurance!! Are you f - ing kidding me!?! Why would I NOT buy gap insurance?! I've always gotten gap insurance on ALL MY CARS! They cannot be trusted at this dealer ship! I don't want to write a novel for this review so let me give you the cliff notes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. This dealership hounded my wife and I so much so to buy then they insisted that it was California state law that we apply for a loan with them although we had already secured financing from our own bank at a low APR. We found a car we liked were ready to purchase and the car salesman continued to push the financing application on us and went so far as to say it was the Post 9/11 Law that we apply for financing with them. I researched his statement on the spot using my phone only to find a Forbes article exposing this tactic as false. When I confronted the salesman about this he denied it. Then to top it off he nearly grabbed my wife's hand to have her sign the financing application as I told him we didn't want to do that. All for what? So he could get an extra sales commission kick-back out of us. It's no sweat off of Keyes Chevrolet that your credit report is going to be pulled from their 15 + banks which is not good for credit scores last time I checked. Bottom Line: Keyes Cheverolet does not care about its customers. It's sales people and it's culture care only about making the sale and squeezing as much cash out of the customer as they possibly can. Overall bad experience, they have shady tactics, act like they're superior to you, and simply lie! Read on if you want the full story but you will see similar reviews. I'll never consider buying from them due to their bad customer service! I came in to look at a Camaro SS b/c that's the car I'm interested in buying and dealt with a guy named Adam. He was extremely nice and showed me around and after test driving it we sat down to talk business. One thing I need to mention is that before getting in the car, some Corporate big shot was there saying that he's leaving the next day b/c he's finished w/ his inspection of the dealership and what not. I chatted with him a bit then he goes inside and right when I get in the car I hear over the loudspeakers: "Dear customers, special deal today $5000 off any Camaro!" I get back from the test drive and simply asked for the best price. Adam kept going to his manager (Matt?) who was pushing him to have me fill out a credit application and a signature that I'll buy today (who does that?) and I simply kept saying I want the best price you can give me on the car before we proceed. Finally the manager comes and tells me the MSRP is $34900 and we mark it up $3000 which comes out to $38000 but we can give you a great deal. This is after 30 minutes of him saying we'll make you a great deal! Then I told him about what the guy said over the loud speakers and his reply was something like "Uhh well he was talking about the APR savings." Being that I'm an econ major I know my numbers good so I started asking him ok well how does it come out to $5000 if you give me like 1-2% off on the APR? I asked him to do the calculation with me but he changed the subject "Well you said you would buy today." I told him I'd buy today if the deal is good and that I'm still waiting for a price. To one up him I asked for the Factory Invoice. He brings the factory invoice which was like $900 less and I told him would you sell it for factory invoice? He says hold on, comes back in 15 minutes (thinking I couldn't pick up on his "let me pretend I'm busy tactic") and says make us an offer and I kept telling him I want his best price b/c I don't want to waste my time or theirs but he kept insisting for an offer so I finally made him an offer $3000 below MSRP because I knew the average discount you can get on these things is $1400 below MSRP (truecar). He gets up hurriedly shakes my hand and says sorry but we can't do that and takes off. I was prepared to buy if he would have given me at least $500 under MSRP but he didn't even bother to counter my offer. I told Adam sorry it didn't work out but the manager is being rude and simply lying to me and giving me 0 straight answers. The manager comes back and says you told me you wanted to buy today if you just wanted to see the factory invoice you should of told him that. I repeated myself for the 20th time and said all I wanted was your best price. His exact reply was "There is no best price." What does that even mean? You honestly have to be stupid to buy from someone who tells you that. If you feel like spending your money that way then best of luck but for those of you that truly want a good deal go somewhere else! read more

On August 18th 2012 a Chevrolet Volt became the first American car anywhere in my family since my mother owned a Pontiac Firebird in 1972 (before my parents even started dating). I came in on that Saturday with the full intention of leaving with a new car car. I had done the research, and after a little bit of dancing with the passionate GM Rick and my great Sales Associate Onnig I was driving away a happy man. The price was right, the service was great, and I'd definitely say that anyone in the market for a car should give Rick and Onnig a shout. I must note that I have been INCREDIBLY happy with the Volt (named Veezy if you were wondering). The car drives beautifully (almost well enough to justify the 41k sticker price), and it's really fun to be a little ahead of the curve. read more

Worst experience ever!! I went in today to check out the Chevy Spark around 230-3pm. It's my first time buying a car on my own. Let me start with their front desk, 1. She wasn't there 2. Rude!! Came up to me and said " hi, what do you need?" What ever happened to, how can I help you welcome to Chevrolet, or something along those lines? After I told her was I needed she tried to get salesman to help me. And I get it, they have a sale going on they're busy. I believe the salesman that she was able to flag down was Carlos. He was very nice, very professional. Wish he would have helped me. Instead he apologized for the wait and gets me another sales men. Ben. 1. Not very excited about selling me something 2. Not knowledgeable. I asked several questions and he seemed very unsure or didn't know the answer and seemed to make things up. (At least that's how I felt). 3. Lied. Said he has been selling sparks like crazy and still couldn't answer my questions about the car. For example. What are the safety rating? His answer, "good I think. Yeah 5 star rating I think." 3. Was not listening to me at all. 4. Did not offer me a business card. I had to ask him for one. 5. Had me follow him to his desk for a card (which I didn't mind) but did not really talk to me. It was awkward. I will not be buying a car from Chevrolet Van Nuys. So rude. I am still in shock. You guys nickle and dime too much. I came in with 5x complaints, and only took care of 2. A recall, and a break problem. I didn't do anything about the other 3x because I'd have to pay $150 per issue to diagnose the issue, not even to fix it. I wasn't going to do that... Well, I'm slightly inching toward a better score...HOWEVER, finance killed the 5 Star rating. Let me just say, this is our second lease from Keyes. Both times we've had a great experience, current sales manager is great, and so are his sales peeps! Finance was ok, a bit disappointed when we got to final signing, come to find out GM Financing, and I guess other financing as well, now make you sign a form stating if you don't, in our case, lease another vehicle from them once term ends, there's a $400 fee to pay. If you want the vehicle, either sign and accept that possible charge, or don't get the car. For that...there goes .5 star...since we most likely lease again. Now for the 2.5 star they're not getting... Keyes made a deal to pay off our remaining balance to previous finance. We had a down payment to make, which we did...It was finance's job to charge what was agreed upon, not us to make sure they charge what was agreed upon. Payment was made by credit card with plenty of $$$ to cover ANY down payment...however, someone there did not charge the right amount. ...Here's the reason why 2.5 Stars were taken away... A check to pay off our old balance was supposed to have been sent within 7 days of our lease signing, or so we thought... 18 days have passed since our lease began...we just now, and ONLY BECAUSE we inquired about such check, come to find out such check has not gone out because our down payment was not charged accordingly...BUT, no one took the time to let us know...potentially, that check could have sat there another 18 days or longer??? Not only possibly affecting our credit, but the annoyance of receiving calls from other finance asking for payment, and having to go back to Keyes and fix their mistake. All in all, this review was about the lack of follow-up from finance, to an issue created within. read more

My chevy Silverado's cooling fan, would at times stay on at full blast. Once it received a diagnostic it was confirmed it was a thermostat failure. Prior to this I looked it up and heard all kinds of prices to fix it. To my surprise the price was way less than what I had heard. Special thanks to the Lady supervisor that took me had her lead mechanic look at it all without an appointment. And of course the entire staff that worked on my situation. I have been leasing cars from various dealerships around the San Fernando Valley for over 20 years. This has been the worst experience I have ever dealt with. They are the reason car salesman have a bad wrap. After the deal was said and done we get a letter from previous bank stating we owe for termination fee and excessive wear and tear. They should have discussed with us that our current contract "might" have these fees and we may want to research before making purchase because they would NOT cover those fees. If we knew this, we would not have made the new deal...fees were excessive. They knew this!! They never mentioned. They have the experience and the knowledge these things take place and as good human beings should make their customers aware. All prior leases I have had they have covered ALL fees from previous contract. I never received a bill from prior lease. In addition, they agreed to "payoff" the last of the payments due on our previous lease if we leased a new truck with them. We find out they paid less than the balance due. When we questioned them about it, they passed the responsibility to us...saying they don't know who gave them the amount but that's what they used and we owe the difference. Bad business practice. I will never buy/lease from any Keyes dealership again, if there is their normal practice. read more

I know I'm a little... old... to be bragging that I just bought my first car, but hey, better late than never. The process at Keyes Chevy was pretty much painless. Of course, I feel like buying a car is never a "fun time" and I wouldn't say I was having a blast or anything, but overall my experience was as pleasant as you can get in whatever ways it can be. My mom had just bought her car from here, and after seeing what she got, I did a complete doubletake and changed my mind from getting a Kia to getting a Chevy Cruze as well! My mom got the Premiere, however I opted for the Cruze LT, kind of the mid-grade option. It's a GREAT car and I am in love with it :) Our sales rep was Sunshine and she was soooo great. She had a very similar personality to my mom and really put me at ease. Nice, fun gal, made me laugh, really laid back. And she kept her cool during my nervewracking first test drive - my first time really getting behind the wheel in a few years, so you know that's impressive! lol. She helped me compare a couple of models I was looking at and decide the best one for my price range and what features I was looking for and was very helpful without being pushy. She was NEVER pushy - didn't try to add on any extra crap or tack things on which is what I was most afraid of. I told her what I was able to afford and she worked with it. I got a pretty great deal all things considered. The process was long like a lot of people are saying - super long! That was kind of a drag, but what can you do. Waiting and filling out tons and tons of paperwork is just part of the process and by that point I was just so excited that the numbers worked out and I was GETTING A CAR!!! that I didn't care a lot about waiting and signing stuff. Hilda in the finance department was great too, very efficient and nice. Like I said - not what I'd call "fun," but a pleasant and not super anxiety inducing experience (which is saying something... I spazz out so easily). I'm glad they let me take a second to read the papers and think a little before answering/signing so I didn't feel rushed or pressured. In the weeks since, they've called a couple times to follow up with me which is nice. I had a little incident on week three and I called Sunshine to ask what to do and she was helpful. Sunshine is great... I keep trying to give her number to everyone complaining about their sucky cars. ;) Love her! If you're in the market, go to her!!!! A poor management of the service section I schedule an appointment for service for my box truck, waited over a week for that I show up for the appointment and they r notifying me that they don't service my kind of truck . Why nobody told me that over the phone .. I could of taking it to so many other places that had an opening .. Now I need to wait some more till I find a spot open at one of the shops .. It's a killer when the problem is an AC malfunction and it's summertime in Cali...it would not help talking to the stuff Cus the don't know nothing.. Run while you can! Not good. Bought 60k new truck from them, it had major breakdown while I was on the freeway. They told me 5-7 days or more to diagnose it and no rental while they do this. Its not too late run from here while you can. In todays world this type of handling of customers purchasing new highend vehicles is not a good thing. It's not to late, get out while you can. My update, in response to Keyes comment dated 3/10/2014: Thank you for the belated apology. I do appreciate it. I would have appreciated the apology, and appropriate action taken, much more at the time of the incident, which happened over THREE YEARS AGO. Timeliness is important to me. Nit pickin.. The Appointment: I never got a confirmation call or email from the appointment I set online. So I called the day before my appointment. I was in the system, but was told by the person at Keyes that they outsource the online appointment service and sometimes they drop the ball. Got there: The newly remodeled building is really nice. The waiting area is comfortable and the free coffee was a nice touch. I also noticed the solar panels on the roof! Kudos Keyes! Customer Service: I showed up a few minutes before my appointment. Parked outside, walked inside..tried to make eye contact with a service person, expecting a greeting from at least one of the six people at the service desks. Not one looked up and said "hello" or "we will be right with you." It took 10 minutes to be acknowledged. The gentleman that eventually helped me was very polite throughout the whole experience. Service Specials...better remind them! I received both email and snail mail offers for service specials. The one I was interested in was an oil change for $39.99. My service technician quoted me $45 for the service. I had to ask about the special. He said, "oh yeah, you can have the special price." This was awkward and made me feel like he was trying to take advantage of me. The little things... I have a Volt and I love charging when I'm out and about. There were five charging stations near the service entrance for Volts. Two spaces were empty...and my volt was parked in the lot, not plugged in. It would have been a nice touch to plug the car in, giving me some EV miles for the drive home. It's a small action that makes a big impression. Lastly, according to the digital tire pressure gauge in my car, the pressure in my tires was two pounds low leaving the service center. This was very surprising considering it is state law to check the tire pressure. read more

Our air conditioner stopped working immediately following the last time that we brought our vehicle to Keyes for service. I brought it back and was not told that the diagnosis would cost. I was surprised and appalled when I was told that it cost $125 dollars to diagnose afterward and not before I left my car. I was not told that my maintenance plan had expired and was charged for an oil change when I thought that it was still covered. Basically Keyes service damaged my car, charged me to diagnose it without telling me it would cost me and then bait and switched me for an oil change. GM, Rick Alpern Sales Manager, Joe Chahayed Salesman, Johnny Bassous Finance Manager, Joe Lopez Buying a car, at least for me, is an experience I don't look forward to doing. I'm a woman and I think that no matter how strong or intelligent I am, car mechanics and salesmen see women as an easy mark to upsell and/or take for a ride (no pun intended). Admittedly, I don't know a ton about cars but going into this lease I did my due diligence; in the 9th inning, I decided to grow up and forgo the sexier "looking" car in exchange for the most cost-effective for my budget. Keyes Chevrolet in Van Nuys to check out the Chevy Volt is where I landed a few weeks ago. Hovig, the first salesman I met was helpful. I test drove the car - liked it. He immediately worked to find me a car w/the options I wanted but with no intention of closing the deal that day I didn't want him to work harder than necessary. I left. Prior to my test drive, I was referred to Rick Alpern, GM. The long and short of this review; not only am I an excited lessee of a 2018 Chevy Volt my daughter nicknamed, Rebel, I had one of the best car buying experiences to date. Rick Alpern, who answered my call whilst on vacation, was kind, patient, and answered every one of my many questions even before he returned from his vacation. Nevertheless, I walked away from the first deal he put together - it just wasn't 100% right for me. Yet, a week later, I reached out to Rick again, and he was as helpful as he was the first time. When I went to Chevy to lease the car, Rick intro'd me to his team, Sales Manager, Joe 'Super Nice Guy' Chahayed and Salesman, Johnny 'More than a Car Salesman' Bassous. Johnny, who could sell the Sun to the desert, but also wise enough to know when to stop shinning, and I spent the most time together. He's relatable, motivated, and taught me everything he knew about the Volt before I left (that's a first for me). He also made me his priority, all day. Did I mention he's a talented artist who works with mosaic pieces? Yup, I was there for hours but Johnny also helped me return my car to a different dealership 20 minutes away.... Despite my feelings towards car salesman in general, not one of the Chevy guys made me feel like they were "selling" me and I didn't make it easy for them. Did Chevy make money off me? Sure, they're a business but I walked away not feeling "took." Additionally, I walked away knowing that whatever I need during my lease term any one of Rick's guys, including Rick, will help me any way they can. I helped sell 6 cars during my last lease and will gladly do the same for them. Last but not least, Finance Manager, Joe Lopez, more serious than the others, helped me to get the best lease coverage package for extra wear and tear (I drive 20k+ miles a year). I came to Keyes Chevy for a car that I seen online with a great price. I was shopping for a good condition low mileage car. I got a call from Sunshine yeah that is her name and yup it sure was sunny!. She offer to show me the vehicle and set me up for a test drive. So the vehicle I had originally inquire about was not really what I was looking for. So Sunshine showed me another vehicle 2016 Malibu LT gold. At first I was not sure of the color but the inside of the vehicle and the figures convince me. Sunshine was so awesome and fun while she showed me the vehicle. I really do appreciate her for the time and patience throughout the purchase process. Now Joe over at Finance really came through with the deal and got me a great APR despite my credit rate. Robert and Patrick were both great my whole car buying experience. I came in test drove a car and liked it but I wanted to keep my options open because it was very early into my first car buying experience. Patrick was really cool about it. Told me to look around and give him a call if I want the car. A few days later I said I wanted it and am coming to talk pricing after work. Patrick was out of the office so they passed me on to Robert. They sold it though and didn't tell me until after I got there! Pretty sneaky tactic on Robert's part. Some people would consider this a waste of time but I got along so well with all those guys that I didn't mind. They tried selling me the same car in a different color but I was not having it. They even offered to paint it! They tried very hard (super friendly the whole time) to get me in that car, but I had to pass. A few weeks later I went to Sierra Monrovia and was all set to buy a Cruze LTZ. They lost my business though in the worst way possible. I was really down because I wanted that car. After another week of endlessly searching cars.com I saw that Keyes Van Nuys got a Cruze LTZ in that met what I was looking for! I texted Robert and he passed me on to Patrick because he was dealing with a customer and wanted to make sure I got immediate help. Patrick remembered me right away and handled negotiations like a pro. We agreed on a price (through text) within minutes and I was on my way to check out the car. I fell in love with it and was driving it home the same day. I loved every minute I spent there and felt like I got a great deal on my car. Especially since it was cheaper than the price Sierra Chevrolet was asking for and it was pretty much the same car. The inside of this place was super nice. It's a newer dealership, and it shows. They had a very nice kitchen area that has free snacks and drinks. I would highly recommend paying them a visit. I know everybody has different experiences but Patrick and Robert were the best guys I had talked to out of the several different dealerships I had spoken to. This review is for dealer only. I have not yet experienced their service Dept. Sunshine and Diego were fantastic and helped me lease a Volt. They were very helpful and positive and did not try to swindle me or sell me anything extra that I dId not need. Overall it was a very pleasant transaction. The manager was very nice and accommodating as well as the finance manager. Overall a very good experience. Diego even delivered my second key to my house so I didn't have to go to the dealer. Only reason I give 4 stars is that it took a really long time to complete the process. Otherwise I highly recommend Sunshine & Diego. read more
