I have now had to return 4 times for the same simple fix because every time they give another lame excuse and do a bandaid fix as opposed to addressing the source of the problem. Leased a Volt from this dealership on October 20th. Talked with Rick the general manager, who was super friendly and approachable. Our sales consultant, Fabrice was extremely knowledgeable about the car and was able to answer most of our questions. I am taking off one star because there was a problem with the Volt that we leased; however, Fabrice was able to handle the problem quickly and professionally. We returned to the dealership and he had another Volt of the same model and price ready for us. We drove off well satisfied with the service and professionalism of this dealership, from the general manager, to the sales consultant, to the finance department. I know there are some dealers out there who hang you out to dry after you signed the contract, but Keyes and especially Fabrice were there to help us after we encountered the problem. read more

Service tech guys are smart scammers, if you know your vehicle you will know they messed with other parts just to bring it back in like they did to me. They decided to offer an oil change to have me "try again" but I don't want to have to babysit my car while they do their job. They need to hire honest workers. Then again these sales people are like gold diggers just looking for more funds to take from people when they don't even know our situations. ***I'm giving a 2 star rating because they washed my dirty car after or before having disconnected my wipers. read more

They almost sold us a used car as new not mentioning anything about the previous purchase and saying the car was a loaner that's why it had few thousand miles on it! ONE WORD: CHIKE. Wow. Through the 3 different vehicles we have purchase in the last 8 years, this was by far the easiest process we have ever experienced. I contacted the dealership and Chike got back to me. I had a lot of different requests because we weren't sure what Volt we wanted in terms of colors and various packages. Chike was so professional, didn't try to bullshit us, and gave us quotes for the different combinations of packages I asked for all broken down. It was the cheapest price we found within 150 miles of San Diego (where we reside). We decided the price was worth it to drive up to Van Nuys to purchase the 2014 Chevy Volt we loved. We arrived and Chike had all the different Volts we were interested in already pulled out from the lot, charged, and ready for us to test drive or just to check out. He had the prices and breakdowns he had previously sent to me already printed out and ready to go. It was such a seamless process. Got to the dealership, decided which Volt we wanted to take home, did the paperwork, and we were out of there. There was no hassling. The price that Chike gave us was the best price we were going to find anywhere and there wasn't any type of shady business, like sneaking in random amounts of money here and there. He was straight up and didn't try to sell us anything additional to what we were getting. He knew we wanted the Volt, and just the Volt, and he stayed true to our interests and needs. I think anyone buying a car can agree an experience like the one we had was just priceless. So many dealerships sales people are known as sharks. Our experience with Chike at Keyes Chevy was far from that. Chike was so knowledgeable and the experience with him alone made the entire drive from San Diego to Van Nuys during traffic (we left San Diego after work around 4pm) totally worth it. So much so that if we were going to purchase another Chevy, I would make the drive and return to Keyes to do so. As long as Chike is there, I will be a Chevy customer. Bought 2 cars here. We take both of our cars to get serviced here. The service department is generally fine. Buying the cars was a good experience and I've always like the dealership. However, over the past few months they have been annoying me with calls and surveys. A call to see if I was interested in buying a new car, a call that an apparent production company just HAD to have my car and they can confidently get me into a new one. It's unreal. If they are this cheap and shady when I'm not even trying to buy a car I can't imagine what they are like when I'm actually ready. I try to unsubscribe from the weekly emails but never any luck. This Chevrolet dealership is pretty good. I've only been to one other Chevy dealership and that was Jessip in Cathedral City. Based on the service managers that I deal with, they have done a great job at making sure my car has been treated properly and that I'm on top of all scheduled maintenances. After every service with them, I get a call shortly after from the manager to ask me how the service was and if I would mind doing a survey. On 12/22/17 I took delivery of a 2018 Malibu Hybrid from Keyes Chevrolet. This is my second lease them and I went back to Keyes because Peter, one of the finance managers, worked very hard to get financing for me with my first leased Malibu. My credit was "challenging" at the time, but Peter went the extra mile to find a solution for me and get me into the car I wanted. Thank you, Peter! Yessenia was my salesperson this time and she was absolutely awesome. She has a lovely personality and demeanor, was attentive to my preferences and didn't pressure me with a heavy sales pitch (which I personally find very off-putting). She made the process easy and downright enjoyable - I highly recommend her and will ask for her again when my current lease expires. Rosa was my finance manager this time and she was also a pleasure. She clearly explained all the lease paperwork so I could understand the details. When I expressed a couple of concerns, she and Yessenia brought in the sales manager, Victor, to address my issues. Victor resolved the issues to my satisfaction - and I am one very ecstatic customer! Lastly, the environment at the Keyes Chevrolet dealership is very nice. Plentiful, comfortable seating, wi-fi, multiple flat panel TVs set to different stations, bottled water, coffee selections from their cappuccino maker, fresh fruit and warm baked cookies all FREE - plus a CLEAN bathroom with plenty of stalls. This facility was newly opened about 3 years ago, was well planned and is well maintained. Just got my first Chevy Cruze RS 2017 here last weekend (Saturday). There was no big sale since it wasn't a holiday weekend but still walked out with a very good deal and it was painless. I didn't have to negotiate for hours because I was satisfied with the offer they gave me within 15 minutes of sitting down to talk about the number$. The sales rep Ryan D. and his sales manager (I forgot his name) were very helpful in getting down to what I wanted without any pressure tactics. They were both very professional and wanted the best for their customers. I would recommend speaking to both of them if you wish to buy or lease a car from this dealership. I gave them 4 out 5 because this was my second time there. I was there in mid-April and I didn't have a pleasant experience in the end. The sales rep was very helpful and helped me narrow down the car that was good for me, the Chevy Cruze RS. He let me test drive several models before I find the one I liked. However, the sales manager was very pushy and try to bully his way to want me to buy the car when we talked about finances. No Bueno! I left after ten minutes and his rep didn't get the sale. I first visited Keyes Chevy in May 2013. Every step of the way, Mark, the Sales Manager, was completely up front with me. I really appreciated the fact that there was no faceless person hiding in an office making decision but never speaking with me - everything was out in the open! I also had the fortunate opportunity to meet with Sergio in finance. When I left that meeting, I felt like I had a much better understanding of what to expect when visiting any other automobile finance department. As much as I appreciated Keyes Chevy, they didn't have the specific car that I was looking for so I went on my way. Two and a half months, nine dealerships and a long story later, I discovered that I no longer wanted the specific car I'd spent so much time looking for. During that time, I discovered that each of the dealers had that faceless person in another room. I have a problem trusting that "faceless" practice. Plus, at each of those other dealers, I had communicated with someone (via email) prior to coming in but when I arrived, I learned that I'd received incorrect information. Either prices were different, the amount they'd give me for my trade was different and even a new car suddenly became a used, dealer rental vehicle! Where to go next was a no brainer -I called Mark, the Sales Manager at Keyes Chevy, told him that I was now in the market for a 4-cylinder Equinox and I'd be there the next day. When I arrived, David (the salesperson) and Mark greeted me. Thirty minutes after David and I returned from my test drive, the three of us had worked out a deal. I then met with Lorenzo in financing; he was completely professional. The entire process was clear and easy to understand. There were no surprises. In my opinion, Keyes Chevy sets the bar for all the rest - and I say that after visiting 9 dealers from Valencia to Glendale to Signal Hill. Once again, my review for yet another experience at Keyes is nothing short of *blows an air horn*, in fact it's more like nails on a chalk board. I won't bore with the things I've said in my two previous reviews, but all I can say is, I think this may be the only time I'll be happy when my warranty is up so I don't feel obligated to drive out of my way and be jerked around for four or five hours, transferred via phone to five different people, and NO ONE seems to know what's going on, do you all not keep in touch with each other (service desk with service techs, etc etc) so you can provide accurate info to customers? Here I sit 3.5 hours and four phone calls later and still have no idea what's going on with my car, and if I'll have it back by this evening, which isn't a joke, I NEED my car by closing tonight to get to/from work tomorrow. I had done a lot of research on the Volt. Knew what I wanted and the price point I was willing to pay. I sent out an email to several Chevy local dealers. Sunshine was the first person to respond with an 8am call. She could tell right away that she didn't need to sell me. Instead, she asked questions in a consultative way to see what my needs were and what options was I interested in. Based on our conversation, she came back with some numbers within 10 minutes. Her proactiveness had her put a deal on the table within 30 minutes. On a separate note, I had 6 other dealers that started to communicate with me. They were slow in their follow up. Easily 1 hour or more to get back with me. In that time, Sunshine already had the deal on the table with the Chevy Volt with the black/burgundy interior with options 1 and 2. I drove to the dealership in the afternoon. Sunshine was professional and welcoming. She made it a very easy customer experience. Would recommend working with Sunshine. Just bought my 2016 Chevy Volt from them. It was a special order and they worked with me the entire way through. I actually live in Phoenix but Chevy wasn't releasing the newest Volt to the entire country yet, just certain states (and Canada. All of Canada. WHY CHEVY?) I contacted Rick early on to discuss options - he was patient with me and made sure I understood all my options. It took a few months for Chevy to get all the new Volts out - mine was one of the first batches. The car is amazing and everyone I worked with at Keye's was amazing, from top to bottom. My only "complaint" (not really a complaint) was that it took longer than I expected to at the dealership itself. It took us over 2 hours to get everything ready - I was hoping to get out of there in less time but it was fine overall. All in all, a good experience. Definitely recommend. read more

I reserve my reviews for things I ENJOY and LOVE, like food! While the hot chocolate, coffee, bananas, and apples were great snacks - no I am not raving about the food choices at Keyes Chevrolet :) This is far from being a restaurant review! It's a car dealership! OMG! I never thought I would get to this point - of amazing service, personal "VIP-like" treatment, attention to detail, and a sense of appreciation - that compels me to write this review. I'm not making it sound religious, but I never expected to feel this complete walking out of ANY dealership. There was a realization after finishing up the paperwork, shaking hands, and getting the keys to the car and driving out of the dealer lot. It wasn't really about the new car smell, or the interest rate, or the complimentary tank of gas. It was Joe Serpico that really completed the buying experience and made it fantastic. I recall my other experiences with the finance guy at other dealerships - always trying to upsell and dig deeper into my pockets - as if I had any more money left after buying a car, right?!?!? Joe at Keyes Chevy was an entirely different breed, maybe one-of-a-kind, where I didn't feel he was being pushy, if anything I felt he was more of a friend trying to help me make the best choices for the car. Now, we all know - that gut feeling (yes, you know, the STOP SELLING ME) feeling we get from the car finance guys - none of that happened during my 1 hour (ish) with Joe Serpico - NONE! THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED. 1st experience - I had a camaro and brought it in for routine service and had to leave it overnight. When I came back the next day everything had been stolen out of my car AND the outside of the car was badly damaged along the entire side. The manager gave me $150 for stolen items (probably not even half what everything was worth) and I had to leave my car there another few days to get fixed. 2nd experience - I had an appointment for an oil change (1 to 2 hrs at max) and when I get there my service advisor tells me I need to leave my car overnight because they were so busy. I explain my service is routine, I had made an appointment, and I was absolutely not leaving my car. The service advisor became rude and kept throwing excuses at me (you bad being at your job / the company running inefficiently isn't my problem) and told me I could leave and come back a different day then. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT it's not like I was a walk-in. I had to get the manager involved and eventually it was worked out that my car would be finished in two hours. Ridiculous. 3rd experience - my appointment is at 1:40. I show up at 1:30 and am told it would be a few minutes which is no problem since I'm early. At 1:50 I'm starting to get annoyed. At 2:00 now I'm angry. I walk in and I express to someone my displeasure as my appointment was 20 minutes ago. He explains to me my scheduled service advisor is busy and everyone is either busy or at lunch. WHY CAN YOU PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND SIMPLE SCHEDULING. WHY IS THIS CONCEPT SO FOREIGN TO ALL OF YOU. At 2:10 my service advisor looks at my car and honestly I am not in a good mood at this point. He says sorry that they "were very busy." He asks me if I still want a car wash and I say yes, obviously, it is complimentary with the service but my car needs to be done by 3:15 since I was told when I made the appointment it would be an hour and a half AT THE LATEST. He becomes rude, changes his tone, and was like well it takes two hours at least so it won't be ready by then. I'm like that's not what I was told and I expect my car to be ready when promised. He's like well it's 2:15 now so it won't be ready by 3:15 regardless. To which my response was: my appointment was at 1:40 and you are 35 minutes late getting to me, which again is YOUR problem not MINE. He was nasty to me and said it wouldn't be ready and they would call me when it was. And had the nerve to ask me again if I was sure I wanted a car wash because it would take longer. So to be clear, YOU were 35m late getting to MY car and the only thing you're offering me is to remove the FREE AND COMPLIMENTARY CAR WASH to appease me? What f*d up kind of customer service is that? Do these people not understand who the customer is???? So to conclude, this place sucks. It is clearly all run by incompetent people who can't handle multi-tasking and handling a fairly easy schedule. And they are TERRIBLE at customer service. Instead of apologizing they try to give you a bunch of excuses and refuse to own their responsibility for failing you as a customer.
