What can I say about a Gas Station? For me this is the most convenient Gas Station on my commute from/to San Bruno. It works, it's easy to park and I get Gas. I can't even see the ocean from there. I haven't been inside the shop, but people go in their regularly and don't seem to be upset when they come out. ;-) isn't that all that counts? :-) They give me Safeway Rewards :-) 10cents of happiness per gallon. That's probably the most memorable thing any fast station can give me. Looking at the other reviews, my expectations to chevron stations seem to be to low. Lately, as in the last 4-5 months , this Chevron's gas pump quality has really decreased . unfortunately, I am NOT surprised when I arrive to find that I cannot see the LCD displays on the pump. This means that I have a very difficult time being able to use my Safeway discount, or even my credit card, while making a purchase. I have experience this problem on at least four different pumps. And on several times the problem has persisted for a week or more causing me to reposition my car when I pull in to get philip. I know gas stations run a fairly thin margin but if this is everyone wants to keep my business then they should at least make your pumps usable by the average person. read more

When a friend of mine reviewed a gas station and I was very new to Yelping I was like really you would review that place - yet here I am writing this review. Chevron on Milagra Drive is the most expensive gas in Pacifica, yet it is also right down the street from my house so when of course I am absent minded and realize I am on fumes I roll into this place. The gas is always 10 cents more than any other place - sometimes it's 20 depends on the week. And to boot without fail each time I have to go here one of the pumps is broken or the credit card portion of the pump is out of order. Needless to say when I pop in for a quick 10 buck fill I end up spending way more time than I need to and end up spending more in the process. Here is my wish for Christmas Santa - will you please tell the owners to get their gear fixed and lower the price down to something reasonable I mean seriously the Nuns living down the street have to probably pay your prices! read more

I like this station, altho it isn't anything to look at; there is no landscaping to speak of and it's not a pretty building. But the attendant was nice (in person, the guy who answered the phone was rude and barely understood me) and he was attentive, even if not in uniform. The rest room seemed clean, but it was smelly, prolly due to the mop bucket being stored right there. Small, cramped store inside with limited stock of snacks and cold drinks. This gas station is a ripoff, firstly their gas is overpriced and secondly; when I moved to pacifica I needed to get my car smogged. My bf told me this place was the best deal in town, $40 like a normal smog place would charge in 2009. The idiot here charged me $70 and told me $100 was the normal rate and I was getting a 'deal'. This is the worst Chevron I've ever been to. Highest prices in the Bay. Window washers always missing and usually filled with plain water. Pumps are slow and never get fixed. Always problems with credit machines or key pads. Canopy is rusting and falling apart; a piece hanging now is scary! It's a disgrace to Chevron. read more

I unfortunately found myself with a flat tire on my way to work this morning. I pulled off highway 1 and had to leave my car parked in a spot at this gas station while I went to get a new tire. When I returned, my car was gone. He had it towed. I had to spend $330 to get my car back. What a horrible person. What a horrible gas station. read more

In addition to the most expensive gas in Pacifica, I have to say, they have the SLOWEST pumps of any gas station I've ever been to. In fact, they are so slow, that I've given up half way through and just shut down, paid to fill my tank only halfway full and driven off to go fill up someplace else. read more

I was cheated!!! I had .10/gal Safeway rewards... started pumping.... stopped at 2.03 gal and stopped... asked the attendant for help...he tried pumping and it wouldn't pump... he removed it and said I had to start over... ok, so I did... it stopped again at 1 gal... Oh, but now I didn't get it at my rewards cost! Told the attendant.. as he proceeded to EAT HIS ICE CREAM BAR! laughed and said to use a different pump, oh and my rewards?? My Mercedes does not like the gas here. It clogs up the system and my car stalls at stops and during turns which is very dangerous. Chevron must have cut back on the amount of techron they add to the gas. I agree with the other comments about the high cost of the smog tests. Also, the restroom is nasty. read more

I went there for gas yesterday and used my debit card for a total of $40. Chevron put a $100 HOLD on this purchase. I have never experienced this with any other gas station and have used other Chevrons. My bank said they have to place hold for 8-10 days! Like gas companies are not thieves as it is. Avoid this place, as they are have horrendous service and customer service. They always have pumps out of service, you don't get credit for your Safeway gas rewards some of the time, one visit your credit/debit card will work, the next time not, when there's nothing wrong with the card. I stopped in to get gas one afternoon. Gas prices were pretty high around town so I decided to go here because I had my safeway points that would give me 20 cents off. Started pumping my gas and it never changed the gas amount from 3.89 to 3.69 went in to talk to attendant she said it shows in here that it is 3.69. We'll after I pumped the gas I did the math I'm not stupid and it was 3.89 per gallon went back in told the attendant she said there is nothing she could do. I suggest you check your receipt they are crooks. read more

THEY RAN OUT OF GAS AND POSTED NO SIGNS. I had the Safeway .20/ gal rewards, entered it, and THE PUMPS DID NOT WORK. The dumb attendant says "TRY AGAIN.. TRY AGAIN". Air was coming out of the pumps. Then the attendant says "HA.. WE HAVE NO GAS... YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE"... The Safeway .20/ gal rewards shows it was used since i started their pump and had to turn it off. Doesn't someone monitor when their tanks get low? PUT UP SIGNS. CALL THE MANAGER. Don't let cars line up at each station trying to pump gas when they RAN OUT OF GAS!! read more

Dreadful gas station. Most Chevrons are fine but his one is the pits. The people are rude, the water to clean windows in never changed, there's never any paper towels and to add insult to injury they put a $100 hold on your bank account if you pay with an ATM card. Avoid at all costs. read more
