Amazing foods service our server was helpful and super kind. The food is amazingly good and fresh for such a cheap price in such a big bowl. The black beans noodles is my family's favorite. I 100% recommend this restaurant!!

Came here with my wife and son and we were really impressed with the taste and quality of the food. The menu was surprisingly small at less than 10 items. I've never seen this menu this small but when the food came out, I was presently amazed at the level of dedication to each dish. The service was impeccable, and this restaurant really had a Homie vibe to it.

My husband picked this spot today and it is so welcoming ! The owner was working and she was so sweet and gave off such a good vibe. We ordered the #7 galbi stew and #12 k-popcorn chicken. Both dishes were sooooo good! The galbi stew was so deep in flavor and super rich paired so well with the dipping sauce and a bowl of rice . ( I will be back just for this ) The k-popcorn plate was full off items, rice, fries, chicken, and a salad, all was very yummy. We also ordered a strawberry smoothie and it good, had the perfect amount of sweetness. Oh and the banchan was really good too !

Everything was DELICIOUS!! I wish i lived out here so I could visit more often. Everything had customizable spice levels which is amazing because we are sensitive. An amazing deal and value for everything. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and made with love and flavorful. We have a lot of amazing leftovers to feed us on the rest of our trip. Even though the food was extraordinary, Monse, our server was the highlight. She was so kind, friendly, helpful and attentive. You can tell she is passionate about her job. She gave us delicious soft serve icecream and gifts at the end of our meal and it was the cherry on top of our meal. Thank you Monse and Chew Me team!

A little mom and pop in the corner of the strip mall,, but when you enter you feel like you are transported to a lil mom and pop in South Korea. Authentic. Staff is very attentive. Worth it.

    1. I love the presentation of the k-popcorn chicken! The Galbi Stew was delicious, and the meat easily fell off the bone! The fresh juice was definitely refreshing! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with lots of seatings! 3. The staff were really friendly and attentive! Note: There will be a Korean pho coming soon! I found Chew Me from yelp and wanted to check it out since I was craving Soft Tofu Stew. It is located in a sketchy area in Garden Grove with tight parking as there are many things in the area. It is a fusion restaurant of Korean Asian and Mexican. Service was so friendly and kind. Price for the items wasn't too bad either. You can definitely taste the fusion portion. The rib soft tofu stew and the beef plate were pretty good.

This restaurant just opened recently around one month or so. The server/owner was really nice and took her time to explain the menu to us. They were working to a full opening, so some items were not available yet. On one side of the menu, ramen, chicken/pork cutlet, and pot sticker were available. On the other side, most items were available except yukgaejang, jjamppong, and 1-2 other items. Overall, the food's portion was big and the price was decent. This restaurant has a lot of potential and I can't wait to see them grow. I hope to try their tofu soups next time. K-Galbi 4/5 - The Galbi beef portion were generous. It was good quality and seasoned well. A little too salty for me, but you could eat it with rice to balance out the taste. The fries were definitely 5/5. They were perfectly crispy and airy. I try to not eat too much fries but couldn't stop eating these. Tacos 4/5 - The tacos were good. It is a fusion dish (Asian-Mexican) that came with meat, pickled carrots, onion, ranchero, and melted cheese. I think it'd be better without the pickled carrots since they made the tacos slightly sour. K-Popcorn Chicken 3/5 - The chicken had perfect texture. Soft in the inside, airy on the outside as if it was cooked with an air fryer. The taste, though, was different from what I expected for popcorn chicken. It was more like a soy sauce/orange chicken type of flavor. A lot of dishes came with fries which tasted great. If you don't want too many fries, you can replace them with steamed vegetables, too.

Their pork dishes are DELISHHHH (i recommend skipping the beef brisket) and I love that they cook the meat for you so you can just DIG IN. Their meat is high quality which I think justifies the price. Combo A/B will feed 2 people and C/D/E is just enough for 3-4 people! I love the lil extra goodies they include like the pineapple, mushroom, and cheese... so yum.... For the combos, I prefer the kimchi stew over the soybean stew since the soybean is a little salty for me. Make sure to order the cold noodles too - they complement the meat SO WELL.

While we waited for the grill to get going, we snacked on the banchan. The pickled dishes and spring greens were especially refreshing and did a great job balancing out all the rich flavors to come. The highlight was definitely the meat. Everything was grilled perfectly and came out incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful. What I loved most was how many different ways there were to enjoy each bite. You can dip the pork into the garlic oil sauce, add a little wasabi, pair it with the melted grilled cheese, wrap it with myeong yi, sprinkle on some salt, or simply enjoy the quality of the meat on its own. Every combination brought out a different flavor profile, so the meal never got repetitive. The soups were comforting and packed with flavor, making them a great complement to the barbecue. Overall, this was a really satisfying KBBQ experience. The quality of the pork stood out, the variety of accompaniments made every bite interesting, and the meal felt thoughtfully put together from start to finish. The restaurant was lively!

When I received my food 45 minutes later, it was the complete wrong order. I received a rose tteokbokki with ssal tteok. I mentioned this to the kind lady behind the counter and she remade my food. However, when I got the freshly made dish, it was still the wrong order. She remade the dish with garaetteok but it was still rose, and not the grandma style. As it was approaching a whole hour since ordering, I just accepted the food, even though I tried to explain to her that what I received was the wrong order. She told me that what I got was the grandma tteokbokki, which the dish was not since it was creamy and had sausage and bacon. I would have asked for another remake, but she had posted a sign that said the restaurant closes at 1:30pm, and it was shortly after that time. I was hoping to have a good time here since the reviews are great, but this experience makes me apprehensive to give the place a try again.
