We've been frequent customers here for a long time because the food and service are usually excellent. Unfortunately, this visit fell short. They forgot to put in my small personal pizza order, and my family's large one came out first. When they did finally make my pizza, it wasn't the right one. The waiters did everything they could to help, and I really appreciate their efforts. The manager personally apologized and kindly took my pizza off our tab, which I thought was very considerate. Overall, the food was good as always, but it shouldn't take over an hour to get a pizza, no matter how delicious it is. This is the best place to get lunch in the midtown area. The walk through downtown during the Fall season was beautiful. Bundle up because in the fall it was very cold inside. The prices were very reasonable for a luncheon with a group of coworkers. They have tons of seating, so it's great for holiday parties or events. Street Parking wasn't a challenge at all although you do need to parallel park on the street. The service was good. I was just kinda turned off a bit when I asked for my salad and they said that I didn't order one, but we clearly did on the sheet we gave the waitress. Other than that, our waters and everything else was great. I love their lunch deal for large groups. Order the deep dish! I couldn't even finish my personal sized deep dish pizza. It was so yummy, but very filling. Spinach salad and artichokes are one of my favorite appetizers. You can't ever go wrong with Chicago Fire. Had dinner for my brothers 55th birthday last night. It was crowded but not too crowded that we couldn't get a nice sized table for our group. I know waiting on a group can be difficult for servers but to me it took a little too long to order food and drinks. I had been there 30 minutes before I asked to order because no one came by to take my order. I started off with an old fashioned which was really really good. Nice and strong, it hit the spot. The group had ordered pizzas family style so I was able to try a few. The thin crust with pesto and tomatoes was really fresh tasting, the tomatoes were sweet which elevated the flavor. I tried another thin crust with mushrooms and it was also very good, I liked the earthiness the mushrooms gave it. Of course you can't eat here and not enjoy some deep dish pizza, Chicago style! I am a crust/dough fanatic so this pizza hit every note for me, crust wise. Loved the crust but the cheese snd toppings to me were just meh. I have been here a couple times and both times I have eaten at the bar. The bartender (I don't recall his name) that has been there is super nice and helped me to discover the amazingness that is Chicago style hawaian pizza. I've been to Chicago Fire many times, and I'm a fan. It's housed in an old brick building that has a lot of character and a great neon sign out in front. There's plenty of seating and a large old-style bar along the left side of the dining room. Of course the main attraction is the delicious pizza. They have a variety of thin crust, deep dish, and stuffed pizzas made with fresh ingredients and excellent cursts. My favorites are the Abe Foreman with its extra mozzarella and Italian sausage and the Da Cub Club that's loaded with chicken, bacon, mozzarealla, onions, and white sauce. Yum! I'm a big eater but a couple slices of their deep dish pizza usually fills me up. One slice of their imense stuffed pizza usually does it for me. Of course it's hard to stop at one or two slices of their delicious pies. Pizza isn't the only thing on the menu though. There's a variety of appetizers, wings, salads, pastas, and desserts. I've tried the wings before and they were hot and delicious. The bar has a good selection of beer, wine, mixed drinks, and comfortabel bar stools. The staff is profession and gave me good service each time I visited. Pizzas cost $35.00 for a 16 inch regular crust and about $40.00 for a 16 inch deep dish. There's really only one drawback to this restaurant. The food is so good, it's easy to blow through your diet. read more

Our family has gone here for years! We think their deep dish Pizza is absolutely the best. We usually order the Stockyard & since one of us is Gluten Free we order that Pizza as well. So nice that they offer that option. This last Tuesday when we ordered our usual Stockyard it did not come looking like it always does. It was missing items!! I called & spoke with the manager, sent him a photo, and he agreed. Not what we ordered! He immediately made it right by crediting it back to my Visa. I greatly appreciate this. It's all paid parking. Upon arrival: Pros: 1) staffs were very nice. Our tables were all set up and ready to go. 2) plates, cups, utensils, tables, chairs were all clean. 3) they do NOT charge for hot water here. Yes!!! 4) we got the chicken pizza, all meat pizza and vegetarian deep dish pizzas. All the pizzas were great! I like mine with extra duce, so it was prefect for me. For others, they said it was too saucey or too tomatoe-y. I tried each pizzas. 5) we got 3 different kinds of salads. All tasted great. Perfect amount of salad dressing on each. I tried each salad. 6) server checked on our table several times. 7) restaurant was nice and quiet when we came for lunch. So it was great! We were able to hear one another talk and play games. 8) I saw they have a bar. 9) I saw they have a little wine cellar above. 10) there was a little cupcake shop inside. Two separate businesses, but sane owner, we were told. Cons: 1) no cons! Conclusion: I liked this restaurant. Foods were good. Restaurant clean. Service great! Servers nice. Our Server, Dillon, was amazing.
