I'm a regular at this Chick-fil-A and usually order ahead in the mornings, so this review comes from repeated experiences--not just a one-off issue. Lately, the morning service has been really inconsistent. On multiple occasions, my order has been ready, but no one calls my name or acknowledges me at the counter. I end up standing there while other customers receive their orders, and I have to step forward and ask for mine--even though it's already prepared. What's more frustrating is the lack of basic customer interaction. There's one employee, Oscar, who consistently avoids eye contact, doesn't greet me, and doesn't say anything when handing over my order. Meanwhile, other customers are getting a much more typical and friendly experience. It just feels noticeably off and not very customer-oriented. I did bring this up to a manager, but the response was just a quick apology and nothing really changed afterward. I want to be clear--I'm not expecting anything over the top. Just basic acknowledgment and consistency, especially as someone who comes here regularly. Chick-fil-A is known for its service, which is why this stands out. I have been to this CFA twice and mainly just get food to go. If you come off the Pentagon City metro stop it right, there in front of you if you got towards the Hayes St exit. Easy to get to from where I work when I want something different or to expand my options. The staff is very friendly and never had an issue with the wrong order. Being that this CFA is kind of on a corner it is a bit smaller than most. Not a great deal of room when it gets crowded. I usually order from the app for pickup but with the proximity I just order at the counter with the app scan feature. What is amazing to me is that from where I work, I hop on the metro to get there (one stop) and I am back at work quicker than some of the coffee/smoke breaks people in my office take. read more

I called in to tell them in was the wrong location and I wanted to cancel. The thirsty team member who pretended to be the manager, Chris let me know that wasn't possible and that my food was ready. I explained I would have to drive almost 25 minutes and the food would be cold once I arrived. He seemed to not care one bit. He needs to be fired or trained on his lack of customer service. Right outside one of the exits/entrances to the Pentagon City Mall is Chick-fil-A. It's a small space with just a few tables that are often full, but their menu has all the usual suspects. I arrived for the first time to this location and was immediately greeted with a good morning from the employees. It wasn't many inside ordering, however the team was prompt and professional taking and giving orders in a timely manner. The facility is clean and well kept, bathrooms clean and hand sanitizer is readily available. The food was hot and delicious as always. I love chicken and I love the way Chick-fil-a makes it. I love everything from their salads to their nuggets to their sandwiches. My favorite salad is the Cobb Salad. Their salad puts some uppity restaurant's Cobb Salads to shame. Chick-fil-a's Cobb Salad consists of their signature nuggets served on fresh mixed greens, topped a blend of cheeses, roasted corn kernels, crumbled bacon, slices of boiled egg and grape tomatoes. It comes with your choice of salad dressings and a small packet of Crispy Red Bell Peppers. You can substitute their nuggets for grilled chicken (cold or warm), chicken strips and/or spicy filet. I have a sweet tooth and I am a sucker for their cookie and cream milkshake. It comes topped with whipped cream and a cherry. I recently ordered the Frosted Lemonade and I am in love. Ooooh la la. How can you go wrong with lemonade and ice cream. YUM This is a new location. It is located at the top of the metro escalator on the left hand side headed in the direction of CVS. This Chick-fil-A is located near the eastern exit of the Pentagon City Metro Station via either the escalator or elevator. I came here several times during my most recent trip out to the Washington DC area. There was a bunch of construction just outside of the restaurant. All of the employees that I had interacted with were all nice and friendly. One employee was an older lady that was going around cleaning each table as soon as people leave. She was genuinely a nice person. The food quality was excellent each time. You'll need to ask for a code to use their restroom. read more

I came in here when I was in a rush hoping to get some food in a hurry and I did! It was in the middle of the day and wasn't crowded the food came out quickly and I wasn't late to my destination! Staff was friendly and helpful as well. I like how they have the tables without chairs for people who don't want to sit down. A typical Chick-fil-A with food and service I would expect out of any Chick-fil-A. The food tastes delicious and the staff members are consistently fast to serve and nice. This spot also hides small stuffed cows around the neighborhood. If you find the toy cow and bring it inside, you get a free ice cream. The restaurant is also usually very clean! read more

I got out of the passenger seat to go in while my husband drove around the block and a meter maid jumped in front of the car and took a picture of the license plate as he was about to pull off. Whereas in some other parts of the country people go crazy for Chick-fil-A, here it seems to be not quite as popular, at least so far. If you love the food then you'll like this location. If you don't like the food, well then, you won't. I wouldn't say it is my favorite, but it is a better option than some other places. read more

I'm writing this review mainly to find out if anyone's been sick after eating at this location. I eat Chick fil a several times a year and have never felt sick except on this particular day. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with fries, a lemonade and Chick fil a sauce and my bf got a nuggets meal. About 2 hours after eating I'm experiencing painful stomach cramps. The pain grew worse as the hours went by and I started to get chills and a fever. It is the next day and I still feel awful. Despite taking medication, the pain did not go away. The same large heavyset woman has been I think a manager because I never see her doing work except for talking and having fun. She literally looks the other way as much as she can... The other Manager just laughs with her all the time the ones that wear the blue shirt it's really sad going in there because this is one of the busiest Chick-fil-A's. I want to love our neighborhood Chick Fil A but it's hard to with the service, underwhelming food quality and somewhat messy restaurant at times. Top 3 issues: The fries are constantly OVER SALTED! On four occasions I received fires that were unbearably salty. There's enough salt on the fries to account for your monthly salt intake. The service is well just ok. Lines are long and never understand what the 8 people behind the counter are doing while 1-2 employees work. The food quality is underwhelming in PC. CC location has superior food quality. I go to this Chick-fil-A quite often. The food usually tastes fine, but some of the employees have the worst attitudes and are very unprofessional. Today this employee charged me for an extra order of fries that I didn't even request. This isn't the first time they got my order wrong. Having to interact with some of the employees is very frustrating because they don't listen and don't care enough to make sure your order is correct. This is one of the worst locations I've been to. They are constantly messing up food and constantly unprofessional. They're manager is also unprofessional so maybe that's why the staff is so comfortable being that way as well. From the first visit with mold on my blueberries to my last one with everything being completely wrong with no apology and the manager fighting to not give a refund, I think you should go to Any other location, even if that means driving 30 more minutes. It's worth it. If you're from the south, do not expect anything pass 1/4 decent because this location will let you down. They'll mess up your food, be sarcastic, passive aggressive, and just plain nasty about it and nothing will happen. If you need a refund just dispute with your bank because this location will call you repeatedly interrupting your day further just to say "oh well".
