The first few times I've visited, the line has been out the door (or out to the street if you're in the drive-thru. Every time, it's been worth the wait. I usually order the regular chicken sandwich with the waffle fries (so dope). I ordered the Mac and cheese once, and it was pretty good. Not great. Their un-breaded chicken nuggets are also delicious. The sauces are my favorite part!! I dip the chicken in it, and the fries. The ranch is my favorite bc it's garlicky!! Chick-Fil-A is a terrible corporation with disgusting values and shamefully hateful views......that being said, I'm a total hypocrite who isn't strong enough to stop eating here. I stopped here on Monday and ended up spending a half hour or so waiting in the drive through because of how busy they still are after being open for a while now. When I finally got to the ordering screen the staff was super friendly (i don't think I've ever encountered someone who wasn't super friendly working at a Chick-Fil-A). I ended up ordering a chicken chunks meal with waffle fries and a vanilla ice dream on the side. The chicken chunks were absolutely delicious and I still can't think of a place with better tasting chicken then this place. The XL waffle fries are another top notch thing this chain does really well. They are the perfect amount of soft, crispy, and flavourful. The ice dream.....well, I've been ordering these for over a decade now and a small always came in a small drink cup. Now this was my first time coming to the Buffalo location, but I was really confused when they handed me a black container with a ketchup cup size of ice cream in it, like, what is that? So the food is great. And the employees are great. The problem is that the great employees seem to have a lot of difficulty getting the great food to the customer. I'm not talking about a long endless wait in line though you get that too. No, what I'm talking about is when you place an online order and go through the drive through, I highly suggest you do not move away from the window until you verify that everything you've ordered is actually in the bag. My first visit was 12.5.18, they had been open for a few days and a friend of mine said she was only in line for 13 minutes so I decided to take a Chance.. kind of a mistake... I wanted to give Chick-Fil-A a try now that it has opened in Buffalo and the hype machine made sure that both my wife and I were excited to try it. We downloaded the app so as to not wait in the 1-hour drive-through line and ordered via the app. About 10 minutes from the destination, we hit the button that said "we were there" and to begin preparing our order to try to time it right. My wife parked in the hotel parking lot next door, while I waited outside where the mobile app pickup was being called. About 10 minutes later, we had our food! The hype is real. I finally checked out Chick-Fil-A. I waited in that loooooong drive-thru line to see what all the hype was, I'd say worth the wait! I ordered a Spicy Chicken Deluxe meal and my fiancé ordered a Spicy Deluxe sandwich with no tomatoes. The drive-thru attendant was extremely polite and so friendly! Asking me if I was 'Miss Katie' for my order, that manner was unexpected at fast food restaurant which was refreshing. I rate my visit a 4 because although my sandwich was correct I expected it to be spicier, there was no 'kick' to my chicken. And my fiancé's order was the wrong one. This was the craziest chick fil a I have ever been to! I know they all get super busy but this was busier than the NYC one. Lines out the door and the drive-thru was going off onto the street. This must be the hot spot of town! Not sure if it was just the wrong time, we went around 1pm. The service was pretty good considering, but they were overwhelmed in there. We ordered on the app and they missed some sauces we asked for. We waited about 15 minutes and I'm sure if you waited in line it would've been a lot longer. Our new Cheektowaga location opened and there was a line to get in but it was only about 10 min when we got there. We waited in line to order about 30 minutes. While we were in line they helped my disabled brother-in-law and got him a seat right a way. They gave us a menu to look at while you waited and a worker chatted with us while we waited. Lots of chicken choices including sandwiches, soups and salads. Something I really liked was they had caffeine free diet drink options which is rare! On Saturday, my friend invited me to lunch with her family and we settled on Chick-fil-A. And since Saturday, I have had this unhealthy obsession/ craving with getting back there to have more menu items. We went through the drive thru and it was very fast, despite many vehicles in line. A man approached the vehicle and did our order that way. Be warned, remember to show your rewards to that person when you pay, or else you'll have to put the receipt into the app somehow to claim your points. The man said we could have the window scan the bar code, but they said they could not, and we would have to get the points manually. When you go through the line, there is a man in a tent asking your name for your order and I don't know what purpose that employee serves because they literally do nothing. They don't take your order, they just ask your name. If they are trying to get more organization in the names and cars from the two lines merging, it really isn't helping because when we got to the window the cashier asked if we were the wrong name. Then she was surprised that we were not that name. The food wasn't ready, and we were asked to pull in the VIP area. I think we waited 3 minutes total. We ordered 5 full meals; 2 kids and 3 adults. I would have given it 4 stars, but this location forgot one of the medium fries, so we had to pool all of our fries together and have communal fries. I ordered the original sandwich, it was good. I like that the chicken tastes real. I also like the buttered bun and pickles. Pickles really make the sandwich. I like both the Chick-fil-A sauce and Polynesian sauce. Those were the only two I tried though, and they have many sauces to try. read more

It moved quickly, so I waited for about 6 minutes to order. I ordered a #2 spicy chicken combo meal, which came to a little under $9 and an 8 piece chicken nugget, which came to a little under $5. I will say this place is running like a well oiled machine. It's incredibly busy always but they seem to keep everything moving as best they can. Today we showed up and the line the insane so we ordered on the app and stood under the tent outside , punched the order code into the iPad, and waited for our name to be called. It was about a 20 minute process. I've heard it can be as short as 5 mins but we went at 4:30 on a Saturday. I should also note that this place only opened a few weeks ago and is the only one in at least a 3-4 hour radius. The guys outside were friendly, polite, and in really good spirits for having to be outside for a lot of their day. Our name was called and we were given a bag of food then it took about 5 more minutes for our drinks. Which was odd but I knew What I was getting into when we went. This would be a 5 start review but they forgot 75% of the sauces we asked for :( As for the food- If you've ever been to any chik fil a you know it's the best fast food you can get. I recommend the nuggets or strips over a sandwich but honestly it's all great. And the lemonade they are known for is awesome too. read more

Since it's inception almost six or seven months ago, I managed to avoid that inevitably massive line and sneak by to grab something to eat. Chick-Fil-A is the only place that makes you realize if you're truly happy or not because of their customer service - I'll explain. As you may know - or if you don't - they usually have employees managing the lines of cars to ease the ordering. When I arrived, I wasn't within a relative close distance to the employee yet he managed to serve me within seconds of my arrival. He approached me with the nicest manner ever and presented me a very neat menu that had to just roll out a package. It was insanely clean. Since I was shocked that I was being helped so quickly, I had no time to think what I wanted. He waited for me to finish choosing my order - didn't rush me at all. Then when it was time for me to pay, the other guy was just as nice! Mind you, it's at least 30 degrees outside, yet he managed to keep a smile on his face the whole time and not even complaining about the fact that he was out there since 2pm according to him. I would personally not be happy if I was outside in 30 degree weather for the past six hours, but that's why the hire the best people around. The Polynesian sauce is worth six stars alone. read more

I have eaten at Chick Fil A's all over and always have to stop at what was closest one in Erie. I was truly excited when this one came to the Buffalo area because its my favorite chain. This is the kind of restaurant that is generally consistent no matter where you go when it comes to taste in my opinion. I've only eaten at this location for breakfast multiple times though because #1 I love their chicken biscuits and #2 its easy to get in and get out with no wait. If you go here at lunch time and after that, it will be a line and wait. Although the line isn't wrapped around through corner like it was when this first opened, you will still wait. The staff here are always nice, I love the "my pleasure" response when you say thank you. I give this 5 stars because of the food taste, efficiency -how they try to get people in and out with online ordering, and friendly staff. Also Chick fil a sauce it the best! They are very efficient have great service and always get your order right. And if there are ever any issues they not only fix it but they give you something a little extra. I should point out that this place is still busy at meal times, not crazy busy as when it opened, but still a line out the door on a Tuesday evening at 6 PM. My advice: use the app to order food. I did so and saved about 20 minutes waiting in line and waiting for the food. I stopped by for a quick bite with some friends before seeing a movie. As we expected, it was busy but the staff did a great job moving everything along. I appreciated having an employee take my order whilst waiting in line. Everything felt expedited. After paying for my meal, I stepped into the drink line. I was handed two drinks, both half lemonade and half unsweetened iced tea. This caught me off guard and after looking at my receipt, I noticed an extra charge for a second drink. I drank the first one which was closer to 80% tea and 20% lemonade. I gave the extra drink to a friend who noted it being very heavy on the lemonade. It wasn't the greatest start but nothing too bad. I ordered the number 1 deluxe meal expecting just a bit of veg and cheese on my chicken sandwich. After taking out my sandwich I noticed it was bare. I again turned to my receipt and noticed that the order placed was the regular chicken sandwich. It wasn't a enough deal that I wanted to take up time the employees could spend helping other patrons and besides, it still tasted good. I noticed another couple who also received incorrect orders. First time visiting and was very surprised. I've had many chicken sandwiches in my day, especially from fast food places. This sandwich was the most tender, juicy piece of chicken I've tasted. Has the Chick-Fil-A como done deluxe. Added the meal so we had fries and a drink. Amazing French Fries. They were cross cut or waffle cut. So good, not greasy or oily.
