I Love Love Chickfila I can definitely eat Chickfila every single day!! Every time I crave Chickfila I usually come to this location since it's closer to home. This location is a pretty busy location, it even has a two way drive thru which is pretty awesome to me. But I gotta admit I usually go inside to order, to me it's a lot more faster. The inside is very nice and clean. The workers are very sweet and attentive too. If you dine in, you will be greeted "Welcome to Chickfila" and most of the time the workers will help with refills, give you condiments and even ask how your meal was (definitely don't get that at any other fast food restaurants). This location also has an indoor kids playroom, I've taken my nephew here a few times and he loves it. Definitely, a kid friendly restaurant. I usually order a Kids meal 6 count with an ice dream instead of the toy, and it definitely fills me up. But if I'm extremely hungry, I'll order the Chickfila Chicken Sandwich meal without the pickle slices (not a fan). Oh and can't forget the Chickfila Sauce to dip my chicken in and fries hehe (I always ask for more sauce) As for my drink I always get their half Sweet Tea and half Lemonade, Love it!! Recently, I've been ordering the 30 count nuggets for a little over $10 (say what, wow) to share or not to share with lol... jk I share! Can't forget their Large Waffle Fries times two! And an Oh Em Gee Lemonade Frosty (a must try). All for less than $20 all together!! I LOVE CHICKFILA! Especially on the go. Everything on the menu is so good. Too bad that here in Virginia beach they don't offer military discount like they do when I lived in New Jersey. I come here all the time to study and use the FREE WIFI. I love the sauces..chickfila sauce, Polynesian sauce, honey bbq. Salad dressing is the avocado lime dressing. Just ran through the drive though and got my usual. Market Salad with avocado dressing and my yogurt parfait with cookie crumbles. I like this location because it doesn't get as backed up as other chickfilas I've gone to. They are speedy and efficient of making sure my food is well prepared. I was here 2 weeks ago and enjoyed my fresh fries and tenders. I always ask for fries without salt and they always drop me some fresh fries instantly. I don't normally wait to long. Very bad customer service. We waited like 15-20mins on the drive-thru waiting area. When I went out to the door, somebody from the staff didnt want to talk to me until I called her out, she was a little grumpy, and told me the guy who had my food was roaming around the parking area looking for my car - like seriously? We were there like 20mins! The food was cold and the fries was just dried out. They have conveniently designed their drive thru so that if you happen to change your mind, forgot your money, or literally whatever, you're still forced to sit through the entire drive thru line due to the chains and cones blocking off the sides. I'm a HUGE fan of Chick-Fil-A. I love the sweet tea, the milk shakes, the waffle fries, the wraps, the spicy chicken, the mayonnaise - it goes on and on and on. I even would go so far as to say I could be a Chick-Fil-A connoisseur. This Chick-Fil-A was terrible. It was FREEZING in the dining area which was very unpleasant. I will admit I am cold natured but it was so cold that I had to wear my coat and coming in after a meeting after work in my nice clothes and work peacoat was not how I wanted to eat my caesar chicken wrap. They also keep all of their "sauces" to include mayonnaise and ketchup behind the counter. This always irritates me because, while I'm sure this is a source of waste for companies, I feel like when they do that they basically make you ask for what you want and then judge what you ask for (I like a LOT of mayonnaise and even dip my fries in it - don't judge me, it's good). The layout of this store is also different from any other I've ever seen... it's in something of an "L" shape with a very narrow front and back and a main seating area off to the right from the registers. The service was friendly enough and I even had a nice young man who came and took my tray when I was done and offered to get me a refill without my having to leave my seat. But the good stops there and it gets MUCH worse as far as I'm concerned. As if freezing wasn't bad enough I ordered a large peppermint shake (my favorite) and was excited about it because I am a health nut and have been looking forward to this "cheat day" for about a week. I bit lustily into the cherry on top only to feel something as hard as a rock. Horrified, I spit it out and it looked like it was all of my back molar - it was all white and red and looked bloody. After close inspection of my mouth I surmised that it wasn't blood but the pink dye in the cherry and googled what a cherry pit looked like, because I've never even seen one. It looked white so I figured it wasn't my tooth. But it was a LARGE cherry with a very large white pit. It's been a few hours and I'm at home and now my upper back right molar is throbbing. I can't tell if something is broken or cracked but I'm fearful it is. Terrible terrible experience. I know it isn't fair to judge all of Chick-Fil-A on this one experience but I feel traumatized and who knows how much it might cost me if/when I go to the dentist to see the damage that was done to my back teeth. I don't know if I'll want to eat at any Chick-Fil-A for a long time... I did some research online and see I should probably have complained to the manager, signed a form, taken photos of the pit and perhaps even kept it with me. I felt around in my mouth and rinsed it out several times and didn't see any signs of any tooth breakage but now that it's much later and it has a dull throbbing pain I'm fearing that while it may not have broken there could be some serious damage. Who knows, it could be fractured and I may need a root canal for all I know and those can be upwards of $1500 as my mom has had a few. I don't know what to do here but I am very upset and think I may have to go to an emergency dentist tomorrow... Sidenote: I had braces and have straight teeth and visit a dentist twice a year. I had my teeth professionally whitened last year. So I take VERY good care of my teeth and they are perfect and straight. I kind of have a love/hate relationship with this Chick-fil-A. Sometimes I get exceptional service and sometime it is so bad I don't want to come back. At first I liked the idea of the outside cashiers because other fast food companies have that. But I think most of the time it just slows things down and make service bad. I've waited 45 mins during the day (lunch rush) and 30 minute during the slow period. For me, it's frustrating when the outside cashier tells me to which car to go behind but that person is not done ordering. So I am confused if I should go, then when I go the person at the window is frustrated because it's not the person they thought. Food: I usually get the same thing (8 piece nugget meal) and like I said love/hate. Sometimes the nuggets are warm and the fries are cold. And it is such an immediate exchange at the window when you are given the food, that I feel like I have to go because I don't want to hold up the line. There isn't enough consistency for good service here, but when there is, I truly enjoy the food. read more

Only complaint is that despite this location having been torn down and rebuilt, the drive thru still can't handle demand at peak hours. Staff gets out using tablets to take orders and even pay ahead of time, but still, there isn't enough room for all the cars. What happened to this location!? It used to be great. I ordered catered food for our work meetings because they were so good. Today I went to post office and since it was so close I got in the drive thru of what I thought was a no brainer for lunch. It took awhile to get through. Not sure how to fix that long wait. Most of us are working folk and have to get back to work. It's not pleasant to wolf down food because you're late or only have 5 minutes to eat. The cashier was nice as could be. I ordered the #1 meal subbing mac & cheese for the waffle fries. But I was SO disappointed in my chicken sandwich. It was smaller than usual and I could live with that. But it was also overcooked. That has never happened before. The reason we all come here is to get that JUICY chicken sandwich! The one thing they got right was my request for extra pickles. And they put it ON my sandwich instead of giving it to me in those tiny containers so I have to put them on myself. Try the mac and cheese. It was some kinda good - very yummy and satisfying. I don't care what those food critics and bloggers say. It's mac and cheese - comfort food. It's not fine dining. I'll still patronize Chick-fil-A but I won't come back any time soon. This Chick-fil-A is very slow. I've done mobile ordering several times and I'm always waiting 10+ mins for my order. People who ordered inside the restaurant get their orders before mine, which isn't a big deal but mobile ordering should be faster. And don't even think of going through the drive thru, it's always backed up to the street. This Chick fil A just takes their time getting your order to you. The food is good, but that's because it's chick fil a. I'd say save your time and go to a different chick fil a because this one doesn't care about how quickly you get your food. read more

I used their online ordering too, it's pretty neat. You order your food and make suggestions on how you like it. Very simple. Then you pay, you pay with your card, (you can link your card, or load money into your account). They text you when your food is ready, so all you have to do is pick up from their pick-up area. Chick-Fil-A has yet to disappoint. There's always someone greeting you as soon as you enter and if there's a line, all registers are typically open during rush hours so you're not going to wait long. If you dine in, an employee will check in on you at least once, offering to take your tray away or refill your drink. There are mints and those wet hand wipes available for free by the napkins. Not sure I've ever received cold fries or an incorrect order. If your order has more than one drink, they actually use those little push down buttons on the lid so you don't have to guess which drink is which. Love the Icedream cones. Chick-fil-A is my favorite fast food spot for breakfast. I swing by here on my way to work, so being there at 7:30 in the morning means not a massive line that wraps around the building for the drive-thru. The service is efficient and friendly. I stick with the spicy chicken biscuit, hash browns, & vanilla cold brew iced coffee. I do wish the iced coffee didn't come with such a massive amount of creamer, but it's still good. I haven't had issues with soggy hash browns, cold food, or wrong items here, so I've no complaints. This review applies to the chain. Every Chick-fil-A location I've been to has been exemplary for a fast food chain. Every location appears new, no matter how old the actual store is. They're often overstaffed, so if there is a line, it dissipates shortly. The food is always served hot, no matter what time I come in. How do they keep this up? The corporate heads did their research, testing store management methods, building a very efficient business protocol. They came up with a menu of a few items that sell like crack: fried chicken sandwiches and nuggets, waffle fries, sweet tea, and grilled chicken. Then they pay and treat employees well, bringing college kids to work. The results are obvious and envious. Kudos Chick-fil-A. ...Of course I love everything they sell (save grilled chicken, ew)! Good portion of meat in the sandwich, recently cooked low-salted fries, and sweet tea that I try to avoid, but cave in at the last moment. I'm weak-willed. =( read more

I had a bad experience today, Saturday, -8/03/19 at approx 925am. The 10 piece chicken mini's was delivered by the manager and they appeared to be just thrown in the box. Some of the minis were not in the buns. The presentation was horrible. I opened it and mentioned it to the manager. She said do you want us to make another one. She returned with the same chicken minis. The minis were not even hot. I'm a loyal customer red level with almost 30,000 points. The manager did not seem to care one way or the other. You can always count on this chick-fil-a to forget something in your order. I have given them many chances since they are the closest to us and they always let me down. From missing nuggets to chicken strips from something called a chicken strip salad! I already decided not to dine there for breakfast when, on a super slow morning, instead of bringing me my breakfast they called my name about 10 mins after the people who order after me got their food. As I approach, they didn't even waited for me to walk up there in a hurry (being a paranoid parent with my two kids who were " starving" waiting at the table. The lady turned around and said she's not here even though I said "excuse me, did you say Kim?" The lady refused to give me my food. I had to go back to the table, get my phone and show her it was mine! When I got it, it was a poor excuse for a chicken biscuit. Smaller than the size of my palms.. I left hangry The last straw was when they didn't ensure that the lid was completely snapped on a super hot coffee and handed it to my husband.. on a tray.. drive thru.. you guessed it! This is likely the busiest place in Chesapeake. During lunch time, this place including the parking lot can be overwhelmingly busy. The good thing about this Chick-fil-A is they are very efficient and speedy. They staff is polite and helpful. The drive-through may appear too long to wait, but the staff if squeak at placing your order and getting your food to you. They keep a steady flow of traffic with the small parking lot. I have not been dissatisfied at this location on the multiple visits I have already made. My food is always hot and freshly made. If you're in the Chesapeake area and in search of something good and quick to eat, I recommend this restaurant. read more
