The pours seemed noticeably light, so I politely mentioned it to our waitress. Instead of checking with the bartender or trying to make it right, she insisted it was a full 5-ounce pour and dismissed my concern. I've worked in the restaurant business, and I know how important it is to make customers feel heard. A small top-off or even an effort to address my concern would have completely changed my impression. After my visit, I happened to meet someone who said they had experienced the same thing with the wine pours on a previous visit. Whether that's a coincidence or not, it certainly made me wonder. It's a shame because I enjoyed the food, but the way this was handled makes me question whether I'll return.

The river rice isn't bad, but sometimes it's a little bit overcooked and soggy. It does depend on what time of day you go to this location how fresh everything is, so if you care about that, I would go sooner than later. To save myself some money, sometimes I bring my own tomatoes from home, so it doesn't count as a topping. But, overall, I do like this location compared to most!

Judged by the poorly written, scribbly handwriting, it appears the cow has written "Eat Mor Chikin" in black paint on the sign that hangs from his shoulders. Here I am standing in line to order my food amongst the loud children and the happy families and a cow is telling me to eat more chicken, thus saving him and his cow friends from being devoured instead. I begin to laugh at the irony of this ad as I mentally tell the cow not to worry- I'm ordering a chicken sandwich. The sizzling from the frying pans in the kitchen and the faint hum of my friend's voice snaps me out of my rendezvous with the cow. "What?" I say to Emma sounding startled. "I said, it's your turn to order," she states as she snaps her fingers near my ears as a "come-back-down-to-earth" gesture. After taking a last glance at the cow poster on the wall, I see the smile on the worker behind the counter. I start walking toward her and catch a whiff of the delicious meals being prepared behind her in the kitchen. Chick-Fil-A never disappoints. I am as thrilled to order my food as a normal teenage girl is to see her boyfriend. Seeing the employees behind the counter and all of the content customers enjoying their meals, I think does everyone here only support the traditional family and have a conservative, religious lifestyle? It doesn't seem that way. Chick-Fil-A has upheld this conservative, religious reputation since they opened in 1946 in Hapeville, a small suburb of Atlanta. They have provided information on their website that it "has steadily grown to become the largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain in the United States". While the company was first gaining popularity, all of Chick-Fil-A's locations were in the South. It was only until the past ten years that they have expanded into the East Coast and the Midwest. Since their original basis of customers and the owner is from the South, the majority of customers tend to be faithful, conservative people. In 2014, Dan Cathy stated his opinion that he is against gay marriage, hence cursing his whole chain with the same opinion. Even though the owner has decided to publically support the traditional idea of a family, it doesn't mean the restaurant deserves that reputation. To prove this, I even talked with one of the customers when I made my visit. My friend, Emma, is a frequent customer of Chick-Fil-A averaging her visits from two to four trips per week. Most of us even call her by the nickname "Chick-Fil-Emma". She could not live without this restaurant, and says her least favorite day of the week is Sunday because she is unable to get her fix of a chicken sandwich, as the restaurant is closed on Sundays. When I pressed Emma for her thoughts about Chick-Fil-A's conservative reputation, she knew what it was, but didn't find it apparent in her trips to the restaurant saying, "when someone mentions Chick-Fil-A, the first thing I think of is my bomb-ass chicken sandwich and waffle fries, not its political views." The thousands of workers at the many Chick-Fil-A locations across the country work hard to guarantee the customers enjoy the food and the ambiance. As Emma stated very candidly, the experience is all about the good chicken, not the owner's personal beliefs. In some ways, one can see how the reputation has really stuck. Dan Cathy, the president and Chief Operating Officer of Chick-Fil-A, maintains his values through his cooperation when he states that "[the company] is very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. [The company is] a family-owned business, a family-led business, and [they] are married to [their] first wives. [They] give God thanks for that." As a leader and proprietor of a large chain corporation, Dan Cathy is the main basis of the company. How can you base a business on values different than the owner's? The reputation has stayed with the restaurant because there are a majority of people who agree with Cathy and there are others who disagree, and do not wish to support his business. Revel and Riot is an organization that holds events and makes products to spread awareness of and support gay marriage. A blog entry from 2011 states that Chick-Fil-A "has decided to give financial support to a series of conferences being held in Pennsylvania called "The Art of Marriage," focusing on promoting the traditional definition of marriage between a man and a woman." Essentially, in this case, the money you and any other customers are spending at Chick-Fil-A is going towards the prejudice efforts against homosexuality. Emma disagrees about the restaurant being closed on Sundays because "[she is] not religious and Sunday isn't a special day for her so [she] should be able to go to Chick-Fil-A like any other day." My homosexual lifestyle requires constant fuel from fast-food chicken. Without deep fried chicken sandwiches, how can I spend all my time hanging from the chandeliers; pounding hot, young asses; getting reamed between my tight, gay buttocks; and sucking miles of juicy man-meat each day? Of course, what with all this gay sex, I don't have time to hold down a job, so I spend all my government money indulging in sweet, sweet Chick-Fil-A chicken. When I drive my Gay Pride Van through the drive-through at this location, I'm always provided with prompt and polite service. I had a high expectation about this place because my friends have been telling me how great this place is and their lemonade. Me and my husband went there and we ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and lemonade and fries. The ketchup pack was interesting. But as we took our food away from the counter, I heard the person working there at the counter saying to other customer that if the customer does not use the ketchup, he wants the customer to bring back the ketchup packet cus they are running low. Booo.. Seriously?.. I hope they have enough ketchup now. While eating the sandwich, my husband and I started to have stomachache. I really wanted to like this place because I like chicken sandwich... Unfortunately, I don't think I will go back.... I asked my other friend and one of them said she had stomachache as well after eating Chick-fil-A... Chick-fil-A fast-food restaurant knows how to prepare its chicken to the next level. They have the fastest crew that can serve massive mobs with hungry mouths lining up in the counter. It was bothering at first watching the place packed with people, but their workers make sure that nothing is to worry about. They clean right away any mess with and wipe the floor with disinfectant. They have strict implementation for social gathering, keeping social distancing in their customers. You only need to wait 5 minutes or so, and your lunch is on. Frosted Lemonade is a perfect combo with a chicken club sandwich that will resolve your cravings in just a bite. Kids love it when going to Chick-fil-A since they have a kids meal nugget dipped in their Chick-fil-A dipping sauce. I don't get what the big whoop is all about with this place. Reminds me of the mystique surrounding Krsipy Kreme. I tried 'em before and i thought "oh, they taste like donuts." Easily has become one of my favorite fast food places ever. I've never had it until this location opened up and when i found out they were open my sister and I went right away. Since then I have been back a bunch of times. Everything i have tried was good. The spice chicken sandwich, the nuggets, the classic chicken sandwich, and of course the waffle fries! This is the first time I've ever heard of Chick-fil-A and im so happy they brought one to Chicago! I work down the street so I eat there atleast 3 times a week. This is by far my favorite fast food in the area. Even when they are packed they are fast at serving food. I can go in and out in 10 minutes when the drive thru is packed. I saw some birds outside and decided to stop by Chick-fil-A because it was the closest to feed the…read morebirds. Well I help a bit awkward ordering this but the worker was lovely! She greeted me with a smile, asked me if I was using their mobile app, called me by my name, and when I told her it was for the birds she was genuinely interested. In top of this she let me know the code for the bathroom was at the bottom of the receipt! Super helpful. The birds enjoyed!

This place is full of people with non-stop lines and the staff here is really quick to knock out the orders. There is a code to get to the bathroom so there is no public restroom but the staff will tell you the code if need be and it's pretty clean. The food is really good though I do think the chicken is pretty much watered down and the prices here are not too bad either. Staff here also take your food too whenever you're done wish I'm not accustomed to especially in Chicago. Overall this is a good place worth checking out

I live down the block and go out of my way to be an excellent customer..... years of service industry as a single mom many years ago will do this. There were two young women working, and the younger one was clearly annoyed at me for being there ordering a sandwich and possibly furious at me personally? I'm talking visible eye rolls and the rudest tone I've experienced in a restaurant environment. When I ordered my sandwich thin cut, she said 'Do you know what that is? It means less bread.' In the snottiest tone like I was an absolute moron. Again, I pride myself in being the nicest, easiest customer on the planet and found myself matching her tone a little bit. It was really weird and unpleasant. Too many other options for a quick bite in the area for this kind of thing.
