Sooo I usually have an awesome experience (as far as fast food is concerned) at Chick-fil-A, but this location is the exception. A couple days ago (not today, not yesterday) I ordered a 30 piece and a 12 piece nuggets to feed my family. When I got home the nuggets were hard and dry, very unusual for Chick-fil-A nuggets. So I promptly called the number on the receipt to tell them of my poor quality food. Well today I get a call from Richard (I'd actually forgotten about it by now, because it'd been so long) to offer me an 8 PIECE nuggets to replace my 42 nuggets that became DOG food. WTH Richard? This place is a hit or miss. Some days you get great service and other days you get horrible service. The drive thru is always fast and nice employees. The inside is a different story. I came here at around 12:00pm and expected it to be busy. I was waiting at the driving for what honestly felt like no more than 5 minutes and when I get to the window they had my order ready for me right away and the manager came up, apologized for the "long" wait and gave me a gift card for some free Chic-Fil-A on my next visit.. I love coming to this location until I went through the drive thru today and was helped by the worker who had a rude attitude to begin with (which is weird because they're known for their great workers).. as My family was trying to figure out what to order, the lady was not offering the menu until I had to reach out to grab it from her. then the worker decides to not even ask for what drinks we wanted until we went to the window and had to correct it. I came here on Monday morning through the drive thru. I asked for no pickles I still received them. I hate pickles so I couldn't even eat the bottom bread. I ordered 3 combos the same and I didn't get the fries for on of them! Why did I pay for the full combo to receive it incorrectly & not complete! Finally opened in Downey! Pretty big location. There are two drive-thru menu boards / speakers so the drive-thru experience is pretty efficient. The service at this location has definitely decreased over the last year. The last 3 (different) visits were horrible. 1st: came with my kids and my sons fries from his kids meal was not fully cooked. He asked if he could do applesauce instead since he was freaked out about fries (he's a child). They said they had to charge a difference. Annoyed but I paid and handed back the fries. This woman didn't charge me a few cents difference, she just charged me for apple sauce. Money wasted. 2nd: picked up an order for the fam bam one evening via drive thru. My daughter found a TOENAIL in her lemonade!!!! I called the restaurant, got nowhere so I emailed corporate. They responded days later (with an incorrect name btw) stating the manager would be in touch with me since this location is franchised. The manager left a voicemail days later stating I didn't find a toenail, that in fact it was a lemon seed. Um no, I know what a funky toenail and a lemon seed looks like and they don't look the same. I tried to get in touch with him, no reply back. 3rd: a coworker offered to pick up lunch and although I hesitated given my last two visits, I agreed to give an order. We placed it though her app for pick up. I had a grilled chicken sandwich meal with soup and a drink. There were other orders with mine. My coworker waited 25 minutes even though we ordered ahead. They forgot my soup and drink as well as other coworkers fries and other items. There was no time to go back. They don't take ownership of their mistakes. The foods good when they get it right but for something to be as expensive as it is, I should never have an issue. We will stick to Canes for our chicken cravings. Customer service was great! Very friendly staff. Food was brought to our table in no less than 5 min. This location has a playhouse which is perfect for small children. My kids really enjoyed it. Now on to the food... Waffle fries were scrumptious IMO. Not greasy or overly salted, chicken nuggets were tender, juicy and they had a thin coating= perfect! This is the cfa I normally go to. I love this place they get things done. This week however I had the worst experience ever. I asked to add cheese to my chicken sandwich, that's it, cheese. And it took 30 minutes to get my burger right. They had to remake it 3 times. All because I wanted cheese... the girl, Alex Soto was sooooo rude and inept. I honestly don't understand how somebody like that is working at cfa. A guy in a blue shirt who I think was off the clock finally stepped in and got me my sandwich.
