Pretty standard chick fil a. They are friendly, clean, and efficient. The food came out quickly- although the fries and chicken strips felt a little too over salted it was still pretty good. There was plenty of seating and even tho they were busy staff still took the time to check in on customers and ask if they needed anything. A new menu item I noticed was a chocolate brownie! This is obviously take out only (something about a pandemic or such) but there are 2 drive thru lanes , yep I said 2 separate drive thru lanes and they're very very fast. On a recent road trip, we decided to stop by for coffee and I came upon this Chick-fil-A location through the Yelp app. I was so excited to discover it was literally minutes away! The menu is very straight forward and simple, but their biggest selling point - in my opinion - is their customer service and of course, sauces. I was amazed at the welcoming service from each employee at this location. I loved that our food arrives at the table after we order them, and they are not stingy on provided their sauces. The person who brought us our food was extremely friendly and even brought back more sauces for us to try. In terms of the food that we ordered, I don't think ordering the nuggets (which is what I ordered) is worth it than ordering a burger instead. First, a little trivia: I met a girl who I knew online, and our first in-person date was at the Chick-fil-A in the Parkdale Mall, Beaumont TX. As of this writing, we've been married 8 years . . . she's probably cringing about that now, I only wish I was joking . . . Now, to the point: Chick-fil-A is one of those fast-food places with food that tastes *far* better than fast food quality. All the entrees I've had have been top-notch. Just last Saturday, I had the spicy chicken deluxe; tasty, not too spicy, big chicken patty. If the price was doubled, it would still be a good deal. Clean place, too. Lots of parking, but with all the restaurants in the immediate area, it probably gets filled at peak times. This outlet was in the mall, but recently moved to a corner near I-80 with lots of standalone restaurants. They at least doubled their seating capacity, and also have a place for kids to play. Having been in the mall at other times, and it was packed every time, this was a good move for them. And I amen Kris T, I'd love for them to open a restaurant in the East Bay too. I specifically wrote this on 1 August 2012, aka National Chick-fil-A Day. It's BARELY just after 7 am and I am driving from the Bay area back home to Tahoe when SCREEEECH - how did I never notice that this Chick Fil A was just off I-80? I pull in, hoping against hope that they might be nice to me and make me a regular Chick Fil A sandwich (extra pickles, always always extra pickles and fresh hot waffle fries!) even though it's the crack of dawn and they only have their breakfast menu up. PRO-TIP: They'll happily refill your cup for you, but YOU MUST REMOVE THE LID AND STRAW. They act all offended and such if it's only lifted away, not completely removed from the cup itself. Now to review the chicken sandwiches... by far the best I've had! The spicy chicken is my favorite (I don't get the deluxe spicy because the lettuce and tomato makes my bun soggy).
