The place was pretty empty when I went and I soon learned why. I ordered the 2 slider combo with waffle fries. It was probably one of the most flavorless things I've ever tasted. The staff was nice though. They offered beers on tap but no fountain drinks. I understand places like this tend to use the spice as seasoning but I also feel like the chicken should have a base level of seasoning if that makes any sense. I stopped by Nashville Chicken after a hike for a late lunch. I needed some protein to keep me going to run an errand before going home. The cashier was hospitable and attentive. My order: Mango habanero boneless chicken wings (5 pieces), side: tots. I ordered to go. My food was brought to me in a brown paper bag. The gentleman that helped me at the register, informed me that he put a side of ranch and comeback sauce (I would describe as their own version of a honey mustard type sauce) in it as well. Yay! The mango habanero boneless wings were spicy, sweet, hot (temperature), juicy, tender, flavorful....and delicious!! This is the first time in years that I have eaten boneless wings from a restaurant that wasn't hard, chewy, or rubbery! I was impressed! :) The tots were well cooked, hot (temperature), and well seasoned. The food was, in my opinion, well priced. The price matches the quality and the amount of food I received. Hands down better than Angry Chickn. I love that they have shrimp and popcorn chicken. Flavor is there and doesn't taste overly flavored. Sauce is similar to angry chkn. Food took about 15 mins to come out & it wasn't hot - so I deducted a star. Customer service was mediocre, not super friendly, just taking your order and moving on. I go to the Walmart neighborhood store in this shopping area. I noticed that there is a fairly new business, called Nashville Kitchen. My sister and I went to check it out early this evening. First, let me say that the interior of the establishment is SUPER clean, and it is pretty small, but inviting. It has 5 TV's, bar seating, and sit down seating. They offer draft beer, and a really nice variety of food on their menu. I spoke with Eddie, who was extremely helpful and friendly. They make all of their food from scratch, so we ordered the Cole Slaw, the Mac & Cheese and sliders. All of the dishes were delicious! We would have ordered more, BUT, we weren't really hungry. We just decided on the spur of the moment to check it out. Anyway, the bottom line, is YES! We plan on going back to eat there, and will be recommending this little jewel to family and friends. However, the customer service from employee Madi B on my receipt that processed my order, she needs a lot of work on her customer service skills. She was slinging the customers food orders at them. The food was very tasty- I had a shrimp po' boy (the bread wasn't authentic to NOLA but that's a big ask) with Cole slaw. The service was great, very polite and helpful. The cafe was super clean and bright and pleasant with several screens going showing various sports. However, we ordered the chicken sliders to be "plain" and clarified "no sauce, no pickle, no slaw", and the sliders came out with mayo. Mayo wasn't even on the menu description for sliders. Food: The loaded Mac tasted fine, the medium spice level was right, but there was a layer of fries under the Mac. This was not in the menu description, so not sure if this was a mistake or not. My expectations were surpassed! Nashville Kitchen's "Loaded Mac & Cheese with Chicken" is delicious. I got mine fully loaded with medium heat and I would order this again with the Aioli sauce. Ordered the 2 slider w/ fries, which has option of no heat/mild/medium/hot/super hot. Got one mild and one hot. The mild was good but def not enough spice for me, the hot was burning (!!). The chicken itself is fresh and juicy, breading was crunchy and spiced, and the sauce and slaw combo on the slider was the perfect complement. Fries are thick cut but crispy and seasoned well, also accompanied by their sauce. Also tried their shrimp po boy. fried crispy shrimp with cajun seasoning and same sauce and slaw as their sliders. Nice, but def prefer the chicken sliders. We went there 3 days after grand opening and it was fairly empty. So give this place a try and beat the crowd from Angry Chickz. The Crunch on the Chicken was spectacular. The Chicken was moist. I liked how the Chicken was thoroughly coated. The batter, dredging, and breading reminds me of some high quality Onion Rings. I don't know if they used Buttermilk, but it felt like it. I had a lot of salty Fried Chicken Cutlet Sandwhiches out there, but this one was actually good and packed with a lot of flavor. And I didn't know it came with Crinkle Cut Fries, these are above average Crinkle Cut Fries, and the seasoning on it wasn't overpowering and a good touch. This is a masterpiece.
