Worst Chick-fil-A in El Paso County! This is the only location that asks for a name in the drive thru. It does no good at all, as when you do so they still give you someone else's stuff, or ask you what you ordered at the window. And why should I have to give my name at all, it doesn't personalize my service. No other locations ask for a name in the drive thru, and service is much better. Asking for a name needs to be eliminated completely! The drive thru is not consistent, and order taking is not evenly distributed between the two lanes, and has happened on several occasions, making it not an isolated incident. The employees in the Fountain location as a whole do not take pride in their job, compared to other locations. I understand it's fast food, and not the best pay, but you need to take pride in what you do, starting at the ground up, as this may be a stepping stone to your future career. Morning service is slow in Fountain. To get a better idea on stellar service, visit the Garden of the Gods Chick-fil-A, where they'll take an extra step to ask you how your doing, and put mints and napkins in the bag without you asking for them. The food was good, but I was let down by upper management. I took my daughter's in for breakfast because it was my oldest daughter's birthday. The young lady working the counter was very sweet and gave both of them a stuffed cow! We ordered, sat down and waited for our food. Everything came our fresh and in a timely manner. Well my younest spilled her just opened orange juice all over the table, chair, and floor. While I'm frantically trying get it cleaned up I see who I assume is upper management because she was on bright green capris and a striped black and white shirt messing around on a laptop in the lobby. She never even made a move to help us. Since COVID they no longer have napkins in the lobby, but the sweet girl attending the counter gave me a rag and came over to help me get it cleaned up, all while upper management lady watched with her nose in the air. I wish I would have gotten the cashier's name, because she definitely deserves the recognition! Pretty sad display of performance with no real customer relations. Arrived at drivethru at 0601. Still a red light on the panel but the employee greats us quickly and we order. Get to window and get told fryers were just turned on and it would be a few minutes. Cars start to pile up behind us. 0610 the same employee comes back and says "I am sorry, I am just being told it will be another 20 minutes. Takes a few minutes and refund gets made and we drive away hungry and not taken care of. This probably would not have bothered me minus these few facts. There were at least 5 visible employees that had been in that building longer than a few minutes. Hard to believe that with that much manpower there wouldn't be a system in place to ensure the kitchen is prepared to put out food promptly. Management put the burden on an employee to deal with our situation as opposed to them stepping up, admitting failure, and maybe offer an alternative or a simple form of compensation. My friend and I went to this Chick-fil-A around 9:15pm. i ordered a number 1 deluxe with a large sweet tea and my friend ordered a number 2 spicy sandwich with a large sun joy. Both of our beverages were unsweetened. My tea was unsweet and her sun joy barely had any tea in it. She also had a hair in her sandwich. I reached out and called and the woman said that we'd have to drive all the way back and show there was a hair in this sandwich to get a new sandwich. We live 20 minutes from this Chick-fil-A. I have just returned from my local Chick-fil-A here in Fountain...brand new and very busy. I don't normally do a lot of eating out, but having run all over the place I was famished. I ordered 2 meals of 3 each chicken tenders with a large coleslaw and it cost me almost $ 10.00, but my husband has to eat too and it saves me time. When I got it home and took out the 2 boxes ( about the size of a pack of cigarettes ) and looked at them I was in shock. Not one of the " tenders " larger than 3 inches and the coleslaw was 1 1/2 cups. ( yeah, I'm mean and measured it ). I could not believe that one plate of food was $ 10.00. Will I go back.......probably not. The service was fast and the staff polite, but I came to eat!!! What a shame that the colorful pictures above the service-counter do not match what you really get. It seems strange to rate a "fast food" establishment, but THIS location's chick-fil-a is perfect. Their friendliness is to the standard of every other lovation- you know, because every single chick fil a has the nicest people working there!! The owner shows true appreciation for customers by frequently giving out "just because" treats via email! - LOVE IT!!!!! It's more of an excuse for me to go there. It makes me sad to write this, but every time I go to this specific location I feel totally let down. Their staff is less than friendly and their food is never fresh. We ordered from here yesterday and our chicken was over cooked, our fries were hardly cooked and each fry container was only half full (which, in this case was fine because they were pretty gross). This location offers about the same amount of customer service and food quality as any other fast food restaurant. Today I went to chick-Fil-A. We had a great experience. We have been here several times; not recently though; but always great customer service. We went through the driveway. This was about 830am. I got a number 7 meal egg, cheese and I got bacon on my meal my husband got chicken. We were able to get through the drive through pretty fast. The lady taking our order was nice and polite; and even greeted with a smile... no wonder there is so many people who want to go here for lunch... they even put a label saying which sandwich was which; so you as the customer don't have to look at every sandwich to give the person there sandwich meal. My bagel breakfast sandwich was pretty good; and my husband said "not bAd"... it wasn't greecy; oily. His chicken was hot; not sitting for a long time. The bagel was soft but not soggy; and all the ingredients worked well together... this is one of the few places that if you were a vegetarian that you can customize your meal without getting grief... and before some critics say why would a vegetarian would go there... well if you went with a group I'm saying there are options available...
