It may be a little issue but I've had a very long week and was looking forward to chick fil a when I got off work and I'm now upset that I didn't get my full meal. I am a sucker for promotional freebies so I try to make it to this location at least once a week. CFA is a solid simple lunch or breakfast option. The staff are always prompt, courteous and cheerful. I respect their corporate policy of closing on Sundays and (though I disagree with their stance on same-sex marriage) feel that this particular location enjoys one of the best owner/management teams of any of the CFA across Greater Houston. I placed an order for a small chicken strip tray at 3:15pm for pick up at 6:30pm. I arrive at 6:38pm and Melissa asks me to wait a few minutes. I take a seat and and at 6:58pm ask her "hi I've been waiting 20 minutes for a tray.. do you know what's going on?" She asks a gentleman and he's not sure either. I ask for a Manager and Vanessa comes out and i let her know what's going on. I ask "did they lose my ticket? Are you in the weeds? What's going on??" She offers me cookies, I decline. She goes to the back to see what's going on, comes back and offers me a "gallon of anything." I decline. I continue to wait and the gentleman comes back and says "you had the nugget tray right?" And I say "no I had the strips" and he says "oh I gave the other lady yours" I wait as he tries to go find her. She comes back and says "I think this is yours" we swap. I'm out of there. It's now 7:10pm. I leave and don't see Vanessa again. Look, I've worked in the industry. I get it, you're busy however, a 40 minute wait time from 6:30pm(when my order was scheduled for pick up) is 100% ridiculous. I don't want free cookies, I don't want a free gallon off anything. If this wasn't a tray for guest, I 100% would've asked for a refund and left without the strips. I would've appreciated Atleast a heads up. This ticket wait time is ridiculous. The only apology I received was from the gentleman that checked for my food when Melissa asked and handed me my food. I have never written a negative Yelp review, but I truly felt inspired after tonight's experience. I have had too many negative experiences at this chick-fil-a to count. The amount of employees with sour, negative attitudes outweigh the few pleasant ones, which is unlike any other chick-fil-a I've been to. I'm not sure who's operating that inefficient and disorganized drive through. I honestly wouldn't mind the wait and confusion if it wasn't for the frequent and unnecessary eye rolls, snarkiness, and incessant whistle blowing from the employees. I tried to get breakfast at this location but wasn't served. Late one morning, at 10:10am, my wife and I decided we wanted chicken bisquits. Knowing they stopped serving breakfast at 10:30am, I ordered the breakfast on the Chick-fil-A app so that the order would get to the store before I arrived. I wanted to give as much warning as possible. I get to the Sawyer location at 10:27am with 3 minutes to spare and select "I'm here" on the app to let them know to prepare my order. The app says there is a problem with my order and cancels it. Luckily, I'm there before 10:30am and can just go to the counter and order... Nope! I get a "We are not serving breakfast anymore.". I try to plead my case that I'd already ordered 20 minutes ago and get nowhere. If you say that you're going to serve breakfast until 10:30, then actually do it. Chick-fil-A is known for high quality, and this location is the only one where I can that it tarnishes that reputation. The only chick fil a I've ever been to where I got bad service. Typically at restaurants when they get the order wrong they give you what you wanted complimentary. I specifically asked for spicy deluxe and got spicy because the lady messed up the order. Then the manager came and told me if I wanted the deluxe I would have to go back and pay the additional dollar or so for the upgrade. This location seems to habitually charge customers for items they did not order, not provide a receipt, then discourages reversing and reprocessing the order correctly, and instead encourages you to call customer service. If you're craving some fried chicken then consider Frenchys, Louisiana Fried Chicken, Breakfast Klub, or Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. Just moved to the area and visited this location for the first time. I was so disappointed in the staff, food and management. I was greeting by an associate on foot, but I had to yell to place my order. She finally walked to my vehicle to get my order. Of course, when I finally received my order it was someone else's. I return the food and they did not throw it away although it had already been touched by me during a pandemic. I finally got what I ordered and the fries were cold and the chicken had fatty pieces. My drink also wasted in my vehicle because the lid was not on properly. I rated them 1 star because o spoke with management because I preferred a full refund but Sloane Pardue refused for whatever reason and simple gave me a reward for more chicken. I took away a star because when asked for a dog treat they said they don't do that at this location. I've read online that they will give your dog ice cream if he's with you in the drive-thru.
