The best and only fast food I tolerate is Chick-Fil-A. Places like the arches & BK & Taco Bell don't even rate in the same category. Very tasty fried or grilled chicken, as well as the spicy chicken. Good for breakfast or lunch, and more healthy options such as cool wraps, 3 salads, and grilled chicken or nuggets. Who can deny the cleverness of the cows Eat Mor Chikn commercials? Their shakes are awesome, the soup is good, waffle fries rock & are better than any other chains fries. Their sauces are all pretty good but the Sweet & Spicy sriracha is a game changer; I put it on the waffle fries, the chicken sandwich, chicken strips, etc. For breakfast, the frosted Sunrise smoothie is also great, like a remake of the old Orange Julius. read more

From counting my mobile ordering receipt emails I've eaten at this Chick-fil-A over 30 times over the last 8 months. They have only gotten an order wrong once out of those times, and even then it was just that they forgot to take off the pickles. I am always treated with respect and am greeted with a smile. Mobile ordering is fantastic, I can order my meal, clock out from work, head over, tap the "I'm here" button once I enter the parking lot, and only have to wait a few minutes inside for my food to be handed to me. One of the fastest Chick-Fil-A restaurants in Jax! It's also delicious, fresh, and clean. As a former employee of three different locations and a consumer of over 20 different locations, I have seen many different Chick-fil-A "do's and don'ts". The Chick-fil-A is very fast. The line in the lobby moves very quickly thanks to the awesome staff. Kyra kindly greeted me before taking my order. This shows that although the staff are aware to work quickly, they ensure every guest is treated well. She asked me different questions pertaining to my order to ensure it was perfect - right down to the pickles on the bun! She made sure I got sauces and thanked me for dining with them. My food came to the table almost faster than I did. I was pleased and thanked the director who brought me my food. This is my only discrepancy with my experience: the manager didn't address me. He didn't ask if I needed anything or even respond with my pleasure! I noticed he had another tray in has and walked right over to the next table. Again this likely helps with their incredible speed, but I noticed I wasn't the only table to receive this treatment. While I was eating I saw him run several orders and simply hand them off before going to get more food. As a manager, he should be just as courteous as his staff, but he seemed more concerned with keeping up the pace of the orders. My food itself was delicious and I was thrilled. The sandwich package was folded pristinely and the pickles seemed placed rather than tossed into the sandwich. The fries were crisp but soft on the inside and very warm. Mmh! When I threw away my trash, the area with the condiments looked clean and the trash wasn't over flowing. The bathrooms were clean and looked well taken care of. I returned to get a refill and another staff member refilled my drink and thanked me for coming in. All in all this Chick-fil-A is one of the best and I will be happy to return very soon! I did mobile order and wanted to do drive Thru and after waiting in the line for about 7 mins and it barely moving I parked and went inside to pick up my food. That took another 5-7 minutes. My husband and I love Chick-fil-A so much, but the one Beaches & Hodges is our favorite spot! The staff is always prompt, kind, and over all we love it every time we come here. The atmosphere is always welcoming and feels like home. 5 star service every time! I had a free treat from my app, and there was a misunderstanding as to how many fries we were supposed to have. They gave us one, but we wanted two. One with a meal & one that I got for free. Went inside to pay for the other set of fries since the ONE we did receive they had deducted already hence it being free. They gave me another & it was on the house. Definitely a pleasure every time! Who doesn't like Chick-Fil-A?! You can order what you want on an app so when you go in it's ready. No waiting in drive thru. When you do go inside everyone is very courteous and professional. I feel underdressed sometimes (although I prefer basketball shorts and sandals EVERYDAY). The food is probably the best fast food I've had. Fries are good. Try the Chick-Fil-A sauce or the Polynesian sauce. I stick with the spicy chicken deluxe. It's confusing because I guess deluxe means lettuce and tomato. They have a play area for the kids. Another nice touch is the little matts you can put down for babies to eat off of so the food isn't touching the table. It's a Pokéstop too. Just sayin. read more

The food is absolutely delicious, the restaurants are always clean, the customer service is exceptional, and they cater well to families. This Beach/Hodges location has an option called Mom Valet, where parents can order food from the drive through, let them know they want to utilize the perk while ordering the food, pay for the food at the drive through window, park and have a table waiting for them in the dining area. How sick is that?! While, I'm not digging the sexist name of it (how about mommy/daddy valet or parent valet), the idea is genius! We utilized this option and upon our entry into the restaurant our table was already set up with a high chair, kids place mats, and Purell wipes. We don't get that kinda quality service even at some top dollar restaurants around town. As a parent, it doesn't get any better than that! read more

We were greeted by Russ and he was very professional and helpful for our order while we were somewhat distracted with our two kids. He helped us carry our order to the table, offered to provide us re-fills on our drinks and to help clean our table as well. It was ok I came like 30 mins before closing only because Burger King didn't have what I wanted. And so the next best thing I thought would be chick fil a. Mind you I'm very familiar with the operation because I used to work at on up north. But Jennifer she just wasn't understanding what I was requesting. I asked for market salad no chicken add oranges. She told me that she was going to put the oranges on the side. I said why the normally just put them on the salad. She said because we are about to close. In my head I'm like why you just can't take 5 second to open the container and add the oranges I already know that you premade the bowls. So whatever I said ok. She tells me the total and off bat it didn't sound right but again whatever I'm just hungry at this point. They handed me the oranges and I'm like df is this what am I supposed to do with this little bit of oranges. I pull to the front because I didn't want to hold up the line. And I check everything else then I check my receipt. My salad had no cheese on it. Then on my receipt instead of charging me for the meal she charged me individual for everything. So at this point I'm upset I just want cheese on my salad and I want some more oranges THAT JENNIFER DIDNT TELL ME THAT SHE CHARGED ME FOR!!so I paid 2.19 for 6 small pieces of tangerines. I went to order a chicken mini with grilled nuggets, was told I could indeed do that by whoever was working the register, I go to the window to pay with cash and one lady starts to talk to me and then another rude girl comes up behind her and is like "wHaT dO yOu MeAn GrIlLeD?!" I don't know how on gods green earth that is so hard to understand it seems pretty self explanatory, did she want a five paragraph essay??? Regardless then I'm told they can't do that because "they don't cost the same" so she offers to ring me up for the rolls and 5 grilled nuggets so I say yes. Then she threw them in the bag separately so I said no just give my money back. Why the hell would I pay for something I have to make myself? Are you stupid??? Why didn't she tell me she can't assemble them BEFORE she took my money. Why wasn't I told I could have simple grilled nuggets. Stupid and ridiculous customer service. On top of all that the manager sat there and watched me clearly upset along with everything above this and did absolutely nothing to make any of it right. I've only been through the drive thru of this location, but if the dining room is like the drive thru, you're set. This location might be my favorite one in Jax. The customer service is impeccable. Our order is always correct, and our food is always hot and fresh. We stop at this location almost weekly for breakfast as a treat before a weekly standing appointment. I order the chicken, egg, and cheese bagel. The cheese is always melted perfectly and the chicken is always hot. My husband gets the biscuits and gravy, and he loves them. The drive thru is efficient - never had a super long wait. This location is how every Chick-fil-A should operate. read more

Normally a great experience...ordered a salad to go 2 problems. They didn't include a fork to eat it and apparently that's there policy....and dressing on the pre-mixed salad was so light couldn't taste it. I asked for extra dressing....a manager told me that they have no way to do that. McDonalds give customers ordering a to go order the proper utensils to eat it. Not what I expected. Went thru the drive thru and got two meals. One meal has a Coke the other a Diet Coke. On both the syrups were out so the sodas tasted bad we turned around and tried to ask them to get them from a different machine but they still tasted bad and needed a syrup change. The fries were very cold. Come to Cfa often but don't think I will be coming back to this location again as it doesn't give out the quality food the brand is known for and other locations can offer me. read more

Like all ChickfilA's, this one is friendly, welcoming, clean, and provides good service. The food is fresh and always tasty. The kids play area is clean, and, even better, sound-proof. I particularly appreciate their "mom's valet" service, where you can go through the drive thru and specify that you want "mom's valet." After you order and pay, you park and take your kids into the restaurant, where they will deliver your order to your table. Particularly helpful to moms of small children! read more
