Good customer service is hard to come by these days, and so is good hot fast food, but bygones they have it! I Love Chick-fil-A... I was in the area doing some shopping, and decided to try the infamous chicken sandwich at Chik fil A. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. It was medium spicy to me, it was crispy on the outside, and very tender and juicy on the inside--perfection for a hangover lunch. The waffle fries were crispy too. I love Chick-Fil-A! Especially this one in Northridge. The workers are always always genuinely friendly. My food is always always fresh! The li e is always long, but who cares about the wait. They know my name, lol, they are always smiling and again, they are genuine, efficient and you can feel the love. Also, this location gives a Free Cookie for everytime you check-in, everyti.e you check in! I cant say enough. I've never had bad or mediocre service here. Great convenient location. Lots of parking. Clean, inviting atmosphere. Excellent- EXCELLENT customer service. Super friendly. Genuine smiles from the staff...after all, it is "their pleasure." The food is extremely tasty. The lemonade has pulp!! The shakes are the best out of all the fast food joints (well, it's a close race with Carl's Jr.'s shakes). Their kid's play area is CLEAN. Service and graciousness is King here. True southern hospitality in Los Angeles. I can forget that I am LA when I eat here and feel I am in the deep south. It's as if they trained their employees to act and speak unlike typical Angelenos. I've seen the transformation. One moment they're talking to their co-workers casually as any person here would, but when they turn to a customer -- they're on and become very Southern-like and polite. Expect to hear "my pleasure" from the employees who work here. I feel like I'm in Pleasantville here or in a time warp and transported to the South. People go out of your way whenever I visit. I got up after my meal tonight and someone ran over to me (really) to take my tray to throw it away. They even offered to fill my drink up before and after your meal. I felt guilty eating here on first visit to this location and contemplated not even checking in on Yelp or Facebook and not tell anyone I ate here because of their stance on gay marriage. My mom sent me a gift card to Chick-Fil-A, so I figured, it's not my money supporting this "biblical" business. Bad excuse, I know. Now on to the chicken. It's a good chicken sandwich, but is it the best? No, I've had better at Son of a Gun recently. It is pretty decent and not bad dipped in sauce. I love the variety of sauces such as Chick-Fil-A Sauce, Polynesian sauce, honey mustard and other all laid out for you to take. The waffles fries are OK -- a bit soggy, not piping hot and not crispy. They're good, but just like the chicken sandwich, the sauces really add more to the dining experience. I was able to order a Arnold Palmer with real lemonade, which I appreciated. Would I come back? Probably so with the gift card. If I were to choose between McDonald's or Chick-Fil-A, I would definitely choose Chick-Fil-A. I would most likely hide in the corner and not tell my friends as one already hates me for eating here because of Chick-Fil-A's very pubic stance on being against gay marriage because it is not "biblical." With this place officially open the Bermuda Triangle of fast food is now complete. With Five Guys, In-N-Out, and now Chick-fil-A all in one spot you would be crazy to get fast food anywhere else. Their chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets are perfectly crispy outside and juicy inside just the way I remember it.... even though my first time was only a few months ago from the also new location in Hollywood. This time though I had a chance to try all their sauces and boy do they have a great selection. The Chic-fil-a sauce is still my go to sauce for drenching my sandwich in, but the buffalo sauce is awesome if you want a bit of spice in your life and the Polynesian sauce has a great tangy taste perfect for my nuggets. So McDonalds, Wendy's, and Arby's dumped all their chicken & buns into one shack and they call it something special. My charbroiled chicken club was okay at like $5-6, and my bf's spicy chicken sandwich, at $4, came out looking like a blob of chicken in two boring, withered buns. Their waffle fries are good...Their parking lot and drive-thru setup is awful. Getting in line at the drive-thru means blocking a majority of their parking lot, so you hear honking a lot. I love Chick-Fil-A! It's my favorite fast food spot hands down. I was on my way to North Cal and was hungry. So decided to hit the drive thru with my daughter out back. As the norm, a busy long line that goes by quickly with efficient staff outside to take orders and process them accordingly and swiftly. I ordered my usual #1 Original with a Lemonade! YUMMM! At the window, I checked into Yelp and they had a free cookie offer, so I informed the gal who handed me my meal and she gladly gave it to me. The shakes are scrumptious, creamy, thick, and come with whipped cream and a cherry. The servers are definitely a cut above both in manners and intelligence. The drive thru was packed, per usual. There were 2 lovely girls working the drive thru on tablets. The girl assisting me was very pleasant and took our ordering quickly.
