Definitely not the same at all. The egg has the texture of a wet sponge. Inedible and you can literally press water out of it. I can't even pick the bacon out and eat it because I am allergic to the carrageenan that Chick Fil A adds to their biscuits as a filler to save money. I am not a big Mac n cheese fan, so when my son gave me a taste of his Mac n cheese, I was pleasantly surprised that it was the best Mac n cheese I've ever had. Hence, why I'm leaving a 5-star. I never had Chick Fil A until early 2021 and when the proper time come I got a chance to have a look. I first heard about Chick Fil A from when I was little and one of the sponsors of a KQED show I saw was the fast food joint. As of 2020-21, I have heard that the chicken nuggets beat out every fast food joint that people know from a TV commercial and they were right. There was just the right emphasis on the panko and the meat. Nothing tastes so perfect. They are also the right portion size. For service 110%, I didn't have enough money to get extra things but they understood and gave me the brownie anyways. I never thought I would get such great service during my first time to a Chick-fil-A. Well worth the price. If you come here during the holidays, this joint has probably one of the best Christmas lights displays that you can find outside Downtown San Jose. read more

Forgot my drinks: coke, water, and my daughter's milk for her children's meal. Remembered the drinks while a car was stopped in front of me at the drive-through. But, I wrongly assumed the milk was in the children's meal bag. Wouldn't post the negative review if it only happened once, but they keep dropping the ball on giving me what I ordered. A couple of times I had to go inside after parking, leaving the drive-through. Usually it's an item here or there. I guess it's the customer's fault for not checking, but that just exonerates them from improving their quality control. Even if I did check it wouldn't change the fact that I didn't receive what I ordered all the future times I may go here. Their brownies are delicious but have gotten so small. Compared to the Monterey location, this one is always slacking. The lines are so disorganized and parking is a disaster. I always do the mobile order to skip the lines. It's been time after time that they keep messing up my order. I am tired of calling it in and/or exchanging it on the spot. Why is it time after time this is happening? Now I'm being put in circles calling the corporate customer service line who says I need to wait for the restaurant to refund my double charge because corporate chick-fil-a says this "independent" store needs to approve the refund of a double charge. When you park and plan to enter into the restaurant, you have to be careful to cross as the line of cars entering the drive through. When we walked in there were a lot of workers. They seemed distracted as it seems that they were helping 2 girls who happen to be their friends. Perhaps the girls worked there. I felt second fiddle to all their needs. A line soon formed behind me. Workers work hard and were friendly but should treat all the same. The food is always pretty good. The deluxe chicken sandwich seemed to have gotten smaller as well as the fries. Still pretty good. I also hawks the chicken tortilla soup. It didn't look like the picture though. My son couldn't eat there because they cook with peanut oil and he's allergic to peanuts. He didn't miss out on much, we tossed the food and went to wing stop. I am 100% a fan of Chick-fil-A. I always get their Deluxe Spicy Chicken Sandwich (without tomatoes), and I never regret it. The chicken is so juicy, the spices and flavors are amazing. Just perfect! I also tried the nuggets and waffle fries this time around. The nuggets were good, but I wouldn't necessarily get them again. Good flavor, a little oily, but tasty. Sooo excited about this opening! Living in the Campbell area, it always felt like a trek to make it to E$$J or Sunnyvale for some good chikin. They've been open less than a week and had a pretty constant line during our time here but things moved quickly. This Chick Fil A is up to par with its fellow restaurants' standards - great customer service, amazing food, clean restaurant - what's not to love? I'm glad there is another Chick fil a location in San Jose. This one is located in the whole foods plaza across from Costco. We came here on a Saturday, and it was extremely difficult to find a parking spot. There was also a super long drive thru line that circles around the lot. When we got there, there was already a line out the door. The line was moving fairly quick, and I saw there were a lot of registers open. There was definitely an abundance of workers making food, delivering food, cleaning tables, etc. After ordering my food, I was lucky enough to grab a table. I only had to wait 5 minutes for my whole meal to arrive, which felt super quick. I ordered the chick fil a sandwich and I added the Polynesian sauce. The sandwich was very tasty. There is also a play area inside. Parents should definitely supervise their kids. I noticed a lot of bigger kids playing without supervision. This can be very unsafe for young babies. I would recommend young babies to avoid the slide area, too. read more

Tonight was my first time eating at chick-fil-a. A step up from McDonald's HOWEVER what was disappointing was the young girl Anna who took my order at the drive thru. She was not listening as I literally repeated my order to her 3 times because she kept reading back my order wrong for each one , hence the repeat. She wasn't very friendly either. No smile, a little sass and just made me feel rushed. Customer service is everything! So from that point on I was already annoyed. Remember when I said she wasn't listening to me as I ordered? Well I say that because she was mostly paying attention to looking around at I don't know what and as a result I was missing items from my order and she also did not tell me my options for the kids meal. She just went ahead and put me down for ice cream as the kids meal prize or side. Later when I looked online I saw that you're able to choose from a drop down list. Anyway, the Christmas lights were a hit for me. They went all out and I very much enjoyed that part of the drive thru. Then I pull up to the pick up window where it was a disaster because ANNA!!! didn't focus on customer service while I was ordering, the young man at the window told me that there was only one kids meal on the order and if I'd like to add another. Yes please. The girl standing right outside the pick up window says $8 dollar something cents and I had to go back into my bank situation and transfer money which had already been taken care of with Anna. Or so I thought. Anyway it was just a lot for me seeing as when I pulled up to the pick up window they ask what's the name on the order. You say your name and then the girl standing outside of the window relays your name to the person on the inside of the window and all I see is a bunch of kids looking for the package that says your name on it. There were like 30 or more different packages on that counter and it just blew my mind there's gotta be a better system. The car ahead of me was having problems with their order as I watched the drama of the many workers at the inside of the window along with the 4 workers standing outside at the window. And they still couldn't figure it out. And because Anna messed up my whole experience it didn't go smooth as I was told super quickly go park over there by the bla bla bla (talking really fast) and we'll bring the rest of your order out to you. I drove away slowly having to figure it out on my own but I found where I had to park because I saw the car that was in the drive thru line in front of me parked on the side so I had to guess and just park behind em cause it looked like they we're waiting for the rest of their order too. The location is inconvenient because it's located on a very busy street so pulling in & out of the parking lot can be a hassle. We were in the area on a weekday around 1pm and wanted some Chick-fil-A. I suggested to my daughter that we ordered online and go there and pick up as it can be insane. We literally finished the ordering online as we were at the light to turn into the complex. The line to for the drive thru was insanity! It was wrapped around the whole parking lot. We sat in the car for about 5mins and decided to go to the pick up table set up outside. Since it's COVID, no one can sit inside. You either do drive thru or order online and pick up. We walked up, told the lady name the order was under, she came out once with someone else's order. She came out again, no more a 4mins wait, she had our order. So glad we did the online order. The food smelled so crazy good in the car. We were less than 10mins from the house so we drove home to enjoy our late lunch. Yummmmm. The guys at the drive thru window were great. The female at the drive thru window wasn't. She handed me my food and walked away, didn't give me a chance to ask for napkins or sauces. It was not busy. Not a big deal. Went home and realized I didn't have one of my chicken sandwiches, my fault for not checking at the window. I came back and the first person to help me was very nice, he asked if I had been helped. A female then stepped in ask I was telling him I was missing an item and she says "oh another one" grabbed my receipt and walked towards the back. Side note, before I got helped, another person had an item missing as well. She came back with my chicken sandwich, dropped the bag on the table and walked away. She did not apologize or offer any remedies for the inconvenience. My patience and understanding is lost with Chik Fila. Every time I DD from this location a major item is missing. I'm not talking condiments either. A Sandwich or a Salad and fries. Ironically this location, Monterey Rd and Santa Clara off North First St and 237 have all missed items when using DD or Drive through. I have called the stores directly and made complaints through DD and Yelp. The result is the same and quality is seriously lacking. My money will be spent elsewhere in the future. Look at the attached, with nearly $20 in fees, taxes and service overcharging customers for a convenience which should result is excellent service. They're SO STINGY WITH SAUCE. I got two meals with large fries and asked for 10 chic fil a sauces and they only gave us 5. I used to work there so i know they're more than able to put 10 . I used to put 20 in a bag sometimes. Just annoying. The girl Olivia is really rude when it comes to asking for extra sauce as well.
