The chicken sandwiches are still good even though some of the competitors sandwiches are better My wife always orders the Cobb salad and I have often ordered and enjoyed the Market salad. We attended this location for lunch and again my wife ordered the salad. It had a good amount of chicken but once she got past the chicken she had some lettuce but as she continued, she was getting nothing but pieces of romaine stems! I placed a mobile drive-through order for the first time for kid nuggets. When I got there, I was surprised how long the line was, but was also amazed at how efficiently they got people through. I was even picking up for somebody else who had put it as carry out versus drive-through, and they found it easily. Definitely better eaten in store or right outside if you're picking it up than after a bit of a drive for obvious reasons but always hits the spot for some fried chicken! The guy confirmed my name, but then put the wrong name in the system. So I waited in line, then everyone else in front me got their order before they finally realized their mistake and started making my order. Stopped I for a late lunch at the drive thru. Not busy at all. Went right up to order. Couldn't get in my ChickFilA app, as I have points to redeem, but will use next time. Got 2 spicy deluxe sandwiches, 1 large order of fries, a spicy southwest salad and 3 drinks: peach milkshake, cookies and cream milk shake and a Sunjoy (basically an Arnold Palmer- half ice tea and half lemonade). This is the first time I've posted any review for Chick-fil-A. This rating pertains to the location I've most recently visited, and am familiar with. This is one of my "regular" spots to grab lunch at the drive-thru.. I like to refer to CFA as the "Southern version of In-N-Out Burger". Both chains began in a specific part of the country, from simple beginnings, resistant to change, but expanding beyond their base nevertheless. Like In-N-Out, the chain emphasizes quality, and consistent service no matter where their next store is located. The menu items rarely change, but quality is rather consistent also. This location is located in Santa Clara along busy El Camino Real, and it's often quite busy when I stop in for my lunch. Despite this, I'm only in the drive thru less than 10-15 min when with a long line of cars in front of me. Recently CFA added a new item called the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich. I tried this item for the first time last week and found it to live up to it's hype and expectation. It was quite delicious! The other items I typically order, such as the Spicy Chicken Sandwich are always exceptionally good. Staff here seem better and on top of things than a couple other Bay Area CFA locations I've been to. No mistakes to my order or other gaffes I can think of. This store definitely gets a 5-star review from me for excellence of maintaining high standards. read more

I've been to Chick-fil-A twice now. Both times have been through the drive-thru. The first time was a few weeks ago when the lines were still long and the grand opening was still fresh. My first go round was interesting. A person outside to take your order. Another person to hand you your receipt. And then yet even another person who stood outside the drive-thru window to hand you your food... I got the number 1 - deluxe, mac n cheese and an order of nuggets (your girl can eat, ok). Everything tasted great! The waffle fries were delicious with just the right amount of salt and crispiness. I almost ate them all before even getting home. Chicken was not what you'd expect from a fast food chain. Juicy and fresh. Needless to say, I was impressed! Now the second go round was less impressive. Ordered almost the same thing less the mac n cheese. No receipt taker or food handerer. Which was more what you'd expect... Got home, ate my food. Everything tasted mediocre compared to the first visit. Good, just not great. I will try this place again and hope for the best! read more

Two weeks after their grand opening, and this location is like a well oiled machine. We didn't even consider the drive thru...the lines were way longer than inside! We got the original combo meal, chicken noodle soup and chicken Cobb salad. I thought ten bucks for a salad at a fast food joint was pretty steep, but it's huge! The dressing options were of higher caliber too. Go with the avocado lime! I'm adding the salad to my rotation along with the original chicken sammiches. Service was fantastic. Way more than I expect at a fast food joint. Twice during our short time there, someone checked in on us and asked if we needed refills, extra sauce, etc. I love me some fried food and I love condiments, so I'm ecstatic that this Chick-Fil-A just opened. Food was good !! Customer service no so well Cleanse of the store not good I went with my daughter and husband like every chick-fil-A my daughter loves to go on the slide if some do have it. Her dad always goes in with her but unfortunately for today was just bad. She runs out crying with her forehead and left eye red I'll post a picture as well. I told the staff member that was there they had no hand paper towel in the restroom and told him about what had happened inside the playground right after we ordered she walked in there with her dad with in sec she comes out. My husband touched the slide and it was very gross and greasy what do you expect with kids but with the sign they have by the playground how it says they clean it they do not. Beware with letting your little one get in without touching it your self. As I was saying when I told the staff member I would have thought he would have told the manager but when I noticed he didn't go and check or even told the manager I went and spoke to the manager myself and he seen her face and asked her if she was ok and offered to give her a ice cream but I already had purchased one. I went and sat down and waited to see if they would send someone to clean it they never did. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS! This was the absolute worst experience I had in any place! I took my daughter there for lunch, and she said she wanted to potty (pre-schooler with small bladder) and she needed it now. So I rushed her to the men's bathroom, but the only stool there was occupied. I did anyone with common sense would have done and took her to the women's bathroom and use the stool there. A few minutes later, their "operation director" came up to me and started asking why I was in the women's bathroom. I explained the emergency, and he started talking about some worker there felt her privacy was violated. Apparently they would rather kids pee or poop on the floor! This operation director got more and more aggressive as I explain the situation, and keep saying I know I'm not supposed to go in there. So I asked so why didn't they have a family bathroom, and he started to doge the question by saying I can ask any woman there to take my daughter to the bathroom. How ridiculous! When does chick-fil-A started blaming the customers? A simple family bathroom could solve all these issues, yet they spent 15 mins lecturing the customer for a preschooler's bathroom emergency! Chick-fil-A has probably been my favorite fast food place for years, and the new-ish location on El Camino and Scott in Santa Clara has been my go-to since it opened. Until today things were great, but now were done. I went to work without eating breakfast and my tummy box was rumbling, so I fired up my Chick-fil-A app and placed a breakfast order. It was before 10:30 so breakfast was my only option and that was fine with me. I completed the order at 10:24 and hopped in the car, pulling into the drive-thru line at 10:29. As I was pulling up, a fellow was flipping the menus from breakfast to lunch. A voice greeted me on the intercom. I said I was picking up a mobile order. She said, "oh, we cancelled it." Why? "Because we stop serving at 10:30." I looked at my clock and it said 10:30. Wow. No, "would you like to order lunch?" No, "I'm sorry about that." Just a stand-off over the intercom. I was irritated so I left without ordering. Driving back to work I asked Siri for the phone number of Chick-fil-A. I wanted to speak to the manager to make sure nobody else was treated like this. I dialed the phone at 10:34. A voice greeted me, she said she was the manager and she was the one who cancelled my order at 10:34. Apparently Chick-fil-A occupies its own time zone, slightly ahead of Pacific Daylight Time. I know they do things different. Closed on Sundays, but yeah, they have their own time zone and when you drive on their lot you are 5 or so minutes ahead of every other clock. The manager was not conciliatory in any way. No I'm sorry, no attempt to be kind. Just a brick wall of no breakfast for you. You know what they say about one bad apple spoiling the barrel? Well it's actually one chick. I'm done with this location. What's more irritating is their mobile app won't take payments from digital wallets so you have to transfer funds on to a Chick-One card to pay. Now I have $20+ stuck on a card. I got a call from the store after filling out an online complaint and they say there's no way to get the money back. Chick-fil-A is good, but I won't be coming to this location. The management does not value customers, does not take responsibility for errors and won't fix their mistakes. read more

This was my very first experience here and my over all experience was just 'OK' Staffs were just amazing they were busy doing their working just perfectly. Restaurant was over crowded and with the food it was okk as i am bit lazy kinda person so I didn't expect that would receive my burger without any sauces. They will provide you sauces of ur choice its just that u have to do the work applying after receiving your choice burger it become bit messy. Since this is a chain, this review is purely from my overall experience and not so much about food. One of the best Chick Fil A chains in the south bay! I've been to other locations who have messed up my order or who take forever to give me my food- this place has a dual lane drive thru for easy access, tons of parking, located on the corner of El Camino Real and easy to spot. Workers are super friendly, I've always had really great experiences. I actually met the owner before because I came here for their grand opening and him and his wife and extremely nice! I ordered some sandwiches, fries, and drinks (it's chick fil a, of course it tastes amazing) and there was a wait as per usual with how busy they are. The worker (Henry) was so kind, and he was very attentive to everyone while dealing with the mass amount of customers. He definitely kept the reputation ongoing. The only flaw with this location is that IT IS PACKED, but that's how it is for every Chick Fil A but their food and service is great so makes sense! read more

I love Chick-fil-A, but this location is really stingy. My boyfriend and I went through the drive-thru and ordered three sandwiches, Mac n cheese, and two fries. Yes, this is a lot, but we can eat a lot. We asked for Polynesian sauce, ketchup, ranch, Mayo, mustard, and a lot of Chick-fil-A sauce. When we received our order, we literally got one ketchup, two Chick-fil-A sauces, one Mayo, and one mustard. We asked for a bit more at the Windsor considering how much we ordered, and they gave us two more Chick-fil-A sauces. We asked for a bit more because it's what we asked for, and they actually refused. They said, "sorry but it's enough for your order." This has never happened to me at a Chick-fil-A. They are typically extremely kind. I became extremely frustrated considering we ordered $30 worth of food, and they wanted to put us on a sauce diet. I got out of the car and went to the front of the store where people were picking up orders. I asked the kind worker for more sauce explaining how the workers at the drive-thru refused to give us more, and he apologized then handed me a bag of more sauce. Food: What can I say, it's a Chick-Fil-A. The food has always been fine and you get what you'd expect. The experience: I've been through the drive-thru about 5 times since they've opened and have had problems almost every time. The problem is there are two lanes to take an order and then two lanes to wait for your food. Compared to a standard drive-thru where the food comes out in order, here you'll sometimes get behind someone who's order takes a while and you've got your food but can't move. Other times you're in front and holding up the line because the runners either don't see your car "sedan" or some other reason. This happened a few days ago: I was first in line while the cars behind me all got their orders, all because the runners didn't match my order to my car. Another quirk: the order takers will ask you for your order feet before the food menu board so if you are unsure of what you want or need to look, you'll need to ask them for a menu while they watch you and wait. I've had an order taker sigh when I've asked for a menu and another one say I could, and I quote "tap that bitch" when I presented a debit card with tap-to-pay. Weird. read more
