We have been Chick-fil-A loyalists for years and specifically this location. However today they really fell short. We ordered extra pickles on our sandwiches and neither one had any pickles at all. Secondly, we asked for honey bbq sauce and didn't get that either and the drive thru is too busy to go back to ask for it. Lastly, we ordered and paid for large fries and the fries were barely filled even half full. We were very disappointed and shocked by this. We definitely wish we hadn't paid for a large fry when the portion size was so small. Feels like this location only cares about quantity and getting people in and out as quickly as possible. And then they're telling us they can't serve us breakfast anymore it's a new thing they have a limited menu for the past week now because they are short staffed. I would've rather wait longer and Actually get breakfast. So I waited in line for almost 20 minutes to basically get no food at all. They should've put a sign up at the beginning of the line instead of making people wait. This location rarely serves breakfast due to poor management. Call ahead before visiting this location for breakfast often not served! I've tried going to this location many times for breakfast and most visits I am told they are not serving breakfast because they are "short "staffed "out of chicken" "not serving breakfast past 7am" that day " or they "shortened their breakfast hours for the weekend" Operating hours changes have never been reflected on their website or app. Terrible management at this location I'm honestly surprised Chick Fil A has their name on this location it's unlike any Chick Fil A I've been to. read more

This is so far and away the worst chick fil a that I've been to. My wife has celiac and 3 straight times I've ordered the grilled chicken breakfast bowl and explicitly told them we have a celiac/gluten allergy. 3 times in a row they've put the breaded chicken in. The first 2 times I just took the loss and threw it away when I got him. Today I drove it and the manager was incredibly unhelpful. Took forever for them to remake it and he acted like I was a giant inconvenience. Side note, sometimes I go to the one on Shea and they have never messed the order up ever. There are no shortage of poor reviews for this location. I hate to be another. But consistency is vital to a fast food restaurant. There are no shortage of competitors nearby, and if you can't count on a place to be as expected, you simply never go there again. So why, are you once again, closed for dining? Nobody else is. It's not COVID. So please don't tell me that it is. I stopped going to CFA for a couple of years because of your far right wing politics. But I got over it, and I think that you did a re-boot too. But is there anything less "family oriented" than encouraging people to grab their lunch from a drive through and eat it in your car? So, once again, why are you the only restaurant in the area that has gone back to no in store dining? The lineup for cars is about 30-40 deep at lunch. It extends into the actual road. This isn't safe (and I don't get it...your food isn't that great). Not only that, when I have done the drive through the stupid card readers only work one way. If you put the card in upside down or with the strip on the wrong side, it won't work. And most of the attendants don't even seem to know which is the correct way. So your patrons often need to try it 2-3 times to even get it to work. And I see that you obviously don't honor the breakfast program that your corporate office has dictated for all stores. I think I'm done with this location too. Its a 15-20 minutes venture to use the drive through and your in store dining option seems to be unpredictable. I went through the drive thru during lunch time and was disappointed. They were really busy so I do understand not everything is going to be perfect but I was a bit confused by how much they messed up the order. I ordered a spicy Chick-fil-A sandwich meal large fries and a large coke with Chick-fil-A sauce. I got a medium coke which honestly could have been my fault for not specifying enough. But I also got a regular Chick-fil-A sandwich, not spicy, with no sauce at all even though I requested 3. I wasn't made aware of any product shortage or anything my guess is that it was just a mistake. We stop by this morning only us and 1 other car in drive thru. The girl who took the order read it back to us incorrectly so we repeated our order (joking I told my husband we are getting surprise in a bag) and that is what we got. If I could give a zero I would... this place is insanely ridiculous and an embarrassment to the Chick-fil-a name. They can NEVER and I mean never get an order correct, heck they gave us the wrong order altogether on more than one occasion. Which is irritating after a long day and then to have to find a place park in a parking lot way to small. Then to get out my already grumpy, tired toddler and go in and all I got was "my bad." But that's what happens when you have a bunch of kids working for your company without true supervision. There were so many young employees standing around talking, laughing and yelling loudly and even one girl yelling "bark, bark, bark." Multiple customers waiting for to go orders while no one helped them or even got their food because one kid was playing with cups while other one didn't even greet walking up customer who were ready to order and when he did he was so rude with his tone. Definitely not like the Chick-fil-a's I am used to back East or even the other ones on Mayo Blvd. or Shea Blvd. An the drive-thru as I mentioned above is the absolute worst. So beyond slow and they won't even walk down to you to place your order. The two of them stand there right at the ordering box. If they are going to stand there then let us just order from that and move the line faster. This location sucks. There have been multiple times that I've sat in the drive through for over 45 minutes. Half the time, by the time they give me my iced tea, there is no ice left because it all melted. When I have to park my car after going through the drive through and go inside to ask for more ice so that I'm not drinking lukewarm, the pre-pubescent teens that work here never seem to know what I mean...one time the kid literally handed me back a second brand new lukewarm tea with no ice in it. So gross. And what is the point of a drive-through if you have to get out of your car and walk inside to fix your order, anyway? Today, the tipping point for me was definitely the fact that I was in line and waiting for breakfast, and the service was so slow that by the time I got to the speaker box, it was 10:31 and they refused to serve me breakfast. I spoke to Norm, the manager, and he was really nice compared to other managers that I've spoken to at this location. But I'm still hungry and driving away with no food. If you're in the area, save your time and energy, and go to the mayo or shea location instead. Dude, I went there on Thursday and was pleasantly surprised considering it was my first time eating Chick-fil-A in a decade. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Hefty portions and a filet of chicken that was over the size of my bun. This culminated in a repeat order the following day and well, not so good. I was like what happened to the portion size, and more so why was it not hot? Alas, it was a small filet of chicken that was in the middle of the bun, hardly big and the fries were cold. I would have returned it but I had sat in line for 15 minutes as it wrapped around the expanse of the parking lot. Not only did I lose time sitting and waiting for a meal that didn't live up to the hype (THIS TIME IN FAIRNESS) but I lost money that could well, should have been spent on Chinese which is what I had a hankering for. Like I said the great meal the day before prompted me to return as it was so darn good. Picked up a catering order and this place unorganized and terrible. The pick up was for 11:15... I finally got the order at 11:36. There were at least five of us standing around for a catering order. The employee brought out a big bag, dropped it, and didnt even call out a name. Just had a confused look. He then went back to his cell phone conversation. Finally had to stop him and ask who order that was which was mine. My company caters from several places around the area here and this place I would not recommend nor want to cater from again. TERRIBLE LOCATION! Every time I come here, I try to have a better attitude about it because it's just food, but this location never seizes to mess up my order. Ordered a spicy deluxe no tomato and of course they give me tomato. They also stopped giving sauces out which is BULLCRAP. I also ordered a sweet tea, and instead of telling me they're out, they give me regular tea like I won't notice. In the South, Chick-Fil-A lines back up into the road regularly. People are crazy for it. Chick-Fil-A apparently remains a bit undiscovered here in Scottsdale. The thing that sets Chick-Fil-A apart is how carefully they select their employees and the quality and consistency of the product. Do yourself a favor and try a regular or spicy chicken sandwich with some waffle fries and a half sweet tea/half lemonade. There's all kinds of great sauces (they'll give you as many you want), but I generally put Polynesian sauce on the spicy chicken.
