Ok, I LOVE chik fil a... but this location is not good. I understand that there is a learning curve with new restaurants, but the last few times I've been here the customer service has been terrible. Messed up orders, forgotten food, rude employees. This morning was the last straw for us, no one greeted us when we walked in, it didnt even seem like the location was open yet, when they had been open for almost 2 hours already. We were ignored until the manager who was standing right in front of us, not acknowledging us at all yells to the back, "Can someone grab the register!!" a young woman came to the register to take our order. She was rude and seemed like she was pissed off that she had to help us. We felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Seemed like everyone hated their jobs AND the customer. I've never encountered a problem like this with other locations. I'll be sticking with the Thousand Oaks location from now on. read more

Best restaurant I have ever been to in my life I was driving around and was really hungry but this restaurant was the closest and so I went inside and ordered I expected a 20 - 30 minute wait but I got it in like 5-10 minutes and I was surprised and i didn't know what to order for sauce so I went with the chick fl a sauce and it was amazing with the fries and I forgot to order a drink and they were super kind about it and gave me my drink I told me family and they thought it was like a off brand Mc Donalds but no they were wrong and I just an amazing time as I did and we in joyed our food and drinks and had a grate time. read more

During a time where we are picking and choosing where to spend our money. It's very sad that The Simi Valley Chick fila has Choosen to not accommodate special request to your food order. Extremely Disappointed! My wife and I had been frequenting this location a couple times a week as she loves the frosted lemonade and my 3 kids love the chicken sandwiches and nuggets. On this particular afternoon a few weeks ago it was my wife's second trip there that day. It was hot and after placing her order was waiting about half way through the drive through when my 10 year old asked her for a water. When she got close enough to the window girl she asked her for an ice water at which time she said NO and that they were too busy for that. My wife quickly asked for the manager, and when he came out, she asked him for a ice water, and he again, the MANAGER said NO that they were too busy. All while she already had her food and was waiting for the car in front of her to exit! My wife snapped a photo of the corporate info for any issues with the location. We contacted them and she received a voucher for a free desert or brownie. Thanks for that Cheap FilA, great example of customer service. I LOVE this chick fil a!!! I mean I love all chick fil a's but some are better than others and this one is great. The owner or manager Josh, gives so many free rewards on my app which is really nice Bc other chick fil as I've lived near never gave any at all. That might be because I'm red status though. The also have never messed up an order and they always include the sauce. The line moves pretty fast even when it's really long but I also love curbside pickup for that reason Bc it's so easy. The only thing is you guys need to fix your soda machine Bc the sodas and esp Diet Coke tastes really bad for months now. It didn't used to taste bad. read more

Tried it since it's new in town. Won't be back! My order was missing 2 large fries that my kids ordered. I called and they sent me a gift card for one small item. Really?! How is that fair? The grilled chicken nuggets were half super tiny and half regular size so it's more like 8 total, not 12. The sandwiches were mediocre. The chicken strips were too spicy for my kids to even eat. This particular location is always on their A game, even with 10+ cars in the drive thru I still get my food quickly with everything totally right! Employees are so kind and are taking extra steps to certify safety during COVID 19 pandemic and are clearly still working so hard so we can have this food. We went in and placed our orders to go. The restaurant had no one else in line, so they weren't busy. They messed up the order big time. We ordered our sandwich to have the pickles on the side, but they were in the sandwich. The side salad container was filled less than half full. They did not put in our bags the salad dressing, the packets of tortilla strips nor the sauce packets for the sandwiches. We were already on the freeway and didn't want to turn around to go back. I called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager to let them know they need to pay better attention. I spoke with some kid named Anthony who said he's a manager. I doubt he was because he seemed like he didn't really care. The Thousand Oaks Chick-fil-A on Moorpark Road is hands down much, much better! read more

My grandsons enjoyed the chicken nuggets and waffle fries. The first Cobb Salad I got there was delicious, so I went back for another. It was disappointing, but I tried a 3rd time. Sadly, the quality varied widely. The second salad had pieces of wilted and discolored (I wouldn't serve it to my family) lettuce and the toppings were thin. The 3rd salad was okay but far from salad #1 in taste and appearance. We tried the breakfast menu, but suggest there's better breakfast food at about the same cost at other nearby restaurants. I've been to multiple Chick-fil-A locations in the past and I'm not surprised that the new Simi location isn't doing well. In my order, I asked for a Spicy Deluxe and asked if they made sure they added it to the order. Was charged it on the receipt. Get home and - what a surprise - it wasn't in the bag. So I have to drive back to pick it up and they didn't offer any type of compensation or apology. I've worked in the casual/fast food chain business and if an error like that was made, we would always offer some sort of compensation. I understand most of the staff working there are kids, but c'mon. A waste of time and gas. Also, in other locations the milkshake cups are clear to see the different flavors if you order multiple shakes. This location uses styrofoam. Hopefully they change that in the future because that's pretty inconvenient. Seems like the owner here is cheap because when handed a menu it's in black and white which is hard to read. read more

The drive thru line was quite long, we estimated about 30 people in front of us, and there are two lines, so you can imagine how packed it was! I just had the most memorable experience at Chick-fil-A a week or so ago. I walk in and I'm greeted by the warmest smile, by the girl at the cashier. She's very polite and professional and took my order very efficiently and accurate. As I'm eating my chicken nuggets she comes over to check on me and asks me how I like the sauces. This was my first time ever in a chic-fil-a, may I add, and I hadn't known about all the sauces. She brought me out one of each of the sauces, which was perfect because I got the 30 count nuggets for $15.95. I tried all the sauces and she came back and asked me my favorite. I liked how personable she was and how knowledgeable she was about all my questions. Her name tag read Bella. (My favorite sauce is honey mustard by the way)and I offered her some nuggets, but I understand why she didn't accept, I too decline food offered from guests at my work. We just conversed a little bit then she went back to work. She was a very diligent worker, always moving, cleaning, restocking. These are the kind of people we need in power positions, people like Bella who take control and get sh*t done, and make sure that guests have a very enjoyable experience at Chick-fil-A in Simi Valley. 5 stars- hands down best fast food restaurant out there (damn better than Del Taco). Months after it opened to heavy pick-up and walk-in traffic, my wife and I finally made it to Simi's Chick-fil-a on Sycamore and Cochran. While its popularity continues, for the life of me I don't understand why. I ordered a chilled chicken wrap that was tasteless despite all the packaged toppings that were added to my order. It had obviously been made hours before and left in a refrigerator so the chicken was dry and the flour wrapper was beginning to harden. Lettuce was the only veggie available-tomatos and jalapenos were not offered. Not fresh at all and very bland. Fries came with the meal but were undercooked and not browned at all. I don't quite understand the refills for drinks arrangement. Go to any other fast food restaurants for a top-off and you get it yourself...you can even mix fountain drinks to your own taste. Here you have to wait in line again to ask an attendant to pour you more. Just don't get it. Will I go back? No. I can eat better at Beeps (previously Millies) across the street. read more

Happy to have a CFA out in Simi Valley! The food is always great and the hospitality by everyone is always outstanding. I came in and ate today for lunch and it wasn't packed so I ordered my meal, went to get a straw for my drink and before I could even pick a seat the server came up with my food! That was a pleasant surprise to have the food so quickly. The owner even came over to my table to check on me and how the food was which is always nice to see someone hands on.
