I stopped in as it is a newer restaurant, and wandered in. The drive through was exceptionally busy and handled by employees out there working hard with a smile. I went inside, placed my order within 2 minutes of arriving, and had it at my table before I could take my jacket off and check my phone. I had grilled chicken sandwich, grilled nuggets and a fruit cup. Not exciting, I know, but hits dietary requirements to a tee. The food was fresh, very tasty and exactly what I was looking for. This place does chicken strips great and the sauce is so good. Always get quick service, but recently the size of strips has dwindled. They're not as big as they used to be. Our last visit to the Sparks drive through was not good. The chicken sandwich and the fries were terrible, lettuce on the sandwich was wilted and brown on the edges.. The waffle fries tasted like they were old and had just been laying around waiting for a sucker to purchase them.. We think since it was about 3:00 pm that the food we got was left over from the lunch cook, they definitely were not fresh made. Will be a long time to get our trust back to eat there again. The fillets for the sandwich are just larger which is always good, meat is properly seasoned and tender, fries are crispy, and the staff already has the customer service and speed aspects down. If I could rate this place a zero star I would. I went with a really big order and once I returned to work we found that food was missing. We called and the owner was very rude to us. We went and picked up the food and she was very condescending with the way she spoke to us. She said that she fixed it and everything was there. Once again food was missing. I've been coming to this Chic-Fil-A since the day it's opened. I showed up tonight at 8:58 PM on a Tuesday..... the restaurant was closed. The employees were in the parking lot and leaving. Received a nice coupon in the mail and decided that I would pay a visit for lunch. Had not been to a CFA in at least 15 years, and never to this one, so I was looking forward to items with which I was not acquainted. With construction and the very large area at the Legends/Outlets at Reno, it is a fair schlep to this outpost which sits near a Popeye's and other casual eateries. I was surprised at how busy the place was for a Wednesday early afternoon. Once again, having never visited this location and having forgotten about my last visit sometime in the early naughts, I was perusing the menu, keeping the coupon in mind, when I was asked by Robert for my order. I said, politely the first time, I needed some time. He thought this funny and continued his 'customer-service' barrage, until finally, when I did have a question, he turned and disappeared into the kitchen, where he was visible laughing and pointing out the door, in my direction. Odd, indeed. Monica, who was standing next to him, was not only MUCH nicer, she was the antithesis of Robert: Well-mannered, patient, courteous, considerate and respectful. I placed my order with Monica and then, much to our surprise, the food-laden tray was up within 60 seconds, maybe even sooner. I proceeded to a table to enjoy my lunch. A minute or so after sitting down, a man approached and identified himself as Thomas who, along with his wife Tiffany, own the store. He was concerned about my having been treated as I was when I entered and we had a cordial chat about the state of customer service today. He was solicitous & attentive, as well as personally engaging. He handed me a gift certificate for the issues experienced and we parted with smiles. Now, the food... Again, having not enjoyed CFA in a decade and a half, I had no real memory of the basic sandwich. However, much came flooding back with that first bite: The soft bun, the distinct flavor and the unique pickle with chicken. A delight! The waffle-cut fries were as I had remembered, quirky and flavorful. Myriad sauces are available and I enjoyed the Sweet & Spicy Sriracha made more potent with a packet of Texas Pete's Hot Sauce.
