I came to this location on a Thursday during lunchtime and the parking lot was jammed packed. The drive-thru line went all the way to the street and it was impossible to enter the parking lot. The upside is that we ordered through the app ahead of time so our order was ready for pick up as soon as we got there. I got a Chick-n-Strips 3 Ct Meal with Polynesian and Chick-fil-A Sauce, Waffle Fries and Sweet Tea ($8.53). Although you can trust Chick-fila-A to be consistently good every time, it's truly the sauce that makes the experience! As far as fast food goes, Chick-fil-A is amazing but the parking lot of this location might be a dealbreaker for me. read more

Every time I eat here, it reminds me of that unforgivable video. "I said Bitch, go get me a chicken sandwich and some waffle fries, fo free." Chik-fil-A does have some amazing chicken sandwiches, and their waffle fries are pretty good. I like how they have all the different sauces to dip your chicken nuggets or fries in or add to your sandwiches. My recent favorite is their new sweet and spicy Sriracha along with the buffalo and their house sauce. One thing that I respect about this place is that they close on Sunday to honor the Lord's day. TODAY was the WORST service EVER!! I waited in line for 20 minutes with only 8 people ahead of me. There were TWO cashiers and one was on the postmates register so that made ONE cashier available. There were three - four people in red shirts just standing around. I asked a lead in red checkered shirt to get some more people to ring because we all wanted breakfast and were here in plenty of time to get it. He said "I know" and NOTHING changed!!! The girl told me I couldn't order breakfast because "the line gets too backed up" WHEN HAVE YOU BEEN TO A CHICK FIL A THAT ISNT BUSY AND BACKED UP? Chick-fil-A is one of two fast food chains (the other being In-N-Out) where you know you'll get quality food and good service. I prefer this location over the one on Hawthorne & Carson because this one has a drive-thru and opens earlier for breakfast. Original Chicken Sandwich or Original Nuggets (along with Waffle Fries, of course) are the way to go. For breakfast, nothing beats the biscuit. The lines are usually long, especially in the drive-thru, but the workers have a good system set up to serve customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thumbs up for being one of the rare fast food places where the employees actually like their jobs. read more

This is the first time that I have to write a negative review for this chick fil a location. The reason that I have to is because I come to this location at least 3-4 times a week for my coworkers and myself and they make the order to specifications. I usually order a 30 count meal and ask them to split the nuggets between two boxes; however, when I went to the drive thru today, I was told that they wouldn't split the nuggets, but instead would give me a box on the side for me to split them myself. Now normally, I would even bother writing a negative review about what happened; however, it has never been an issue with it until today. I love Chick-fil-A, plain and simple. There's no other place like it. They have all kinds of options on the menu, but the only thing is that they don't have beef, which is fine with me. I love chicken and can eat it everyday. There's something about their chicken. It is never greasy or weird tasting and has a very simple flavor to it. The fact that they use peanut oil is important to remember for those of you with nut allergies. You might want to ask about the grilled options, because those may not use any peanut oils. Otherwise, there are salad options and they are tasty, I have to admit. I love the fact that they are the first chain to have grilled nuggets! I love nuggets, but can't always afford to risk my metabolism clogging up by eating the fried ones, so when they came out with the grilled ones, I could have kissed the cook! One of my other favorite entrées is the spicy chicken sandwich...that damn sandwich is so bomb, it's ridiculous! I am waiting (not very patiently) for them to come out with spicy chicken nuggets! Oh yeah!! My favorite sauces are the Buffalo and Polynesian and those fries, though!! My sister swears by the peach milkshake when that's in season. Most importantly, the customer service at all Chick-fil-A restaurants is always on point. They are always very friendly and apply that adage of "My Pleasure" to anything that you may ask for. They are quick to apologize for mistakes and work quickly and efficiently and most importantly, they work as a team. Late night hunger and laziness led me to the drive-thru of Chick-fil-A. I can't imagine this fast-food chicken being something you'd drive out of your way for at all. I tried the Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich (made fancy with lettuce, tomato, and cheese) which only had two spices: Salt & Pepper. I'm not a "supporter" or "hater" of Chick-fil-A. I just wanted a quick chicken sandwich. Of course, Chick-fil-A uses the ad campaign of "Eat Mor Chikin." ***Chick-fil-A is okay and it is better than a lot of fast food chains out there; it has a huge following, but I would not consider myself a big fan; the service is good and I do like the self-serve sauce bar (and after visiting Chick-fil-A several times, I have started to like it more)*** Chick-fil-A has a huge following and it is immediately noticeable here. While the restaurant is not overly busy (they have a big dining area that easily accommodates the big crowd), the drive-thru very often has a long line of cars (similar to In-N-Out). Chick-fil-A specializes in lightly fried chicken sandwiches. The chicken is typically moist and given the moistness and that there are not many fast food chicken places (other than the overly greasy fried chicken spots like KFC), it is easy to why Chick-fil-A has a following. I find it just okay though--better than the really bad fast food spots like KFC or Jack in the Box but still not a great spot. I've had a few things here. The Chick-fil-A nuggets are okay (maybe a tad small which resulted in some dryness); the best thing about the chicken nuggets is the wide variety of dipping sauces (barbecue, Chick-fil-A sauce, buffalo, buttermilk ranch, honey mustard, and polynesian). Chick-fil-A has a self serve sauce bar and there are many options (definitely good variety even if none of the specials are outstanding). Probably a better bet with the chicken nuggets is to get them with the Chick-n-Minis dish so that you can also get a taste of their decent biscuits. I have also had their chicken deluxe sandwich, which came with lightly breaded chicken, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and cheese. The sandwich is okay. The dipping sauces help. The bun is too soft and I don't think cheese is a good additional flavor for this sandwich. Their waffle fries are quite bland. They are crisp enough and they don't let them sit around too much, but they need more seasoning. Their side salad is good for a fast food place. It is fresh enough and you get a good mix of vegetables including romaine, carrots, broccoli, tomato, and cabbage. They also add shredded cheese. They even provide some good garnishes for crunch like croutons and sunflower seeds. This Chick-fil-A also features a Tastee Freez on-site so you have some soft serve options after your meal. I've had their vanilla soft serve in a cone. It has an okay flavor, but I am not a fan of the texture. It is kind of like packed snow and it is not soft or smooth enough. Service is great here. The management and staff are both friendly. Food comes out quick and they even bring the food to your table. Prices are in line with other fast food spots. Chick-fil-A might be more expensive than a McDonald's, but the prices in general seem very competitive. If you are a fan of fast food, Chick-fil-A is a must visit. It definitely provides something more unique than the many burgers spots out there. If you are not a fan of fast food, I am not sure if Chick-fil-A is going to change your mind. The lightly breaded fried chicken and wide variety self-serve sauce bar may win over some though. Like many fast food places, Chick-fil-A has its own free parking lot. The parking lot is quite big and it has to be. This Chick-fil-A gets quite busy (especially the drive-thru). read more

This Chick Fil A is at the north side of Hawthorne Boulevard. It has a drive through that gets congested. The staff does, however, move traffic quiet efficiently. Chick Fil A is always on top of its game. Although it's a humble place, the experience is as though you're in fine dining. There's usually a staff member who makes a round to ensure that your experience is stellar. It goes above and beyond what's expected of a fast food restaurant. There's plenty of sauces for the taking. This is different from equivalent outfits who dole out sauces very sparingly. There are wipes by the utensil stand as well. read more

I eat lunch here a lot, but I can't help it - they're so quick and their fries are so good! They have the friendliest, fastest people working here. It is actually quite a lesson in efficiency. From the people walking around taking trays and refilling drinks, to the cashiers everyone is so good at their jobs. Once I stood at the counter to pay then as I was paying, my order including my drink was ready! WTH - it was like 90 seconds. When I see every seat taken and the two-lane drive thru full, I just want to know - how much money does this place make!?! and how do they train everyone? This is one of many Chick Fil A locations that I frequent when in search of a good chicken sandwich. This location is located on Hawthorne Blvd and 182nd Street in north Torrance. This place has a double lane for the drive through, and a decent number of parking spots for dining in. Walk inside, and you will be greeted with exceptionally nice employees. The line does not take long to get through, and the wait is usually less than five minutes. The wait to receive your food is more or less the same. They have employees that come give you your food, and they often offer to throw away your trash for you. The restrooms are kept pretty clean, which is a big plus. There is a play place for kids, and ample seating inside. The patrons are usually Torrance and beach city locals, and I've never had problems with anyone here. As far as food, I recommend the deluxe grilled chicken sandwich, and an large original iced coffee. If you come in before 11:00am, their breakfast menu is great. The service here is quick and efficient and the food makes it way out pretty quickly. I have eaten at this location several times and have always come away satisfied. Tables are cleaned up quickly and refills on the drinks are quick and plentiful. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on my last visit and it was very tender and tasty. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and always plenty of sauces to choose from. I was out working in Torrance and had the worst headache. I think I was running on empty.. So I had two choices : chick-fil-a or norms.. I naturally draw to norms, so I go and walk through the door and found that not many people work in Torrance. It was packed and out of control. I walked out the door and went to my second choice, and I am very happy I did so. By the time I got there they stopped serving breakfast. I've never been to chick fillet before so it was all New to me. I notified the girl upfront that this was my first time ever eating there and and I have to say she was as sweet as can be. She told me all the popular things that they have, and I decided with a spicy chicken sandwich. It was strange because she was asking me what I like on the sandwich, which I didn't really understand if that was my job to put it on the sandwich or if that's what they are going to put on the sandwich. So I told her that I would like a ranch barbecue and whatever else she thought would be good on the side. She got those sauces put them in a little cup type thing and handed it to me. Again this is all a bit strange for me... So I sat outside, which thank God they had outdoor seating because I love outdoor seating, and within 5 minutes they brought my food out to me. So here's what I learned... They will put all the ingredients, like lettuce tomato pickles, etc... But they don't put any sauce into the food, they leave that completely up to you including mayonnaise. That was cool with me, new to me but cool with me, and I took my first bite and I have to say it's a pretty good sandwich. I didn't go crazy for it, but it really was a pretty good sandwich. The Cris cut fries also taste really good. I got lemonade for my drink and as bitter as it was, it still tasted really good. The one thing that stood out to me the most was that their service was amazing. Considering that it is a fast food joint, they were some of the nicest people that I've ever met or dealt with. With that said, I would definitely definitely recommend coming and eating here. You can get fried chicken, grilled chicken, whatever chicken you want and I'm pretty sure that you're going to be satisfied with the quality of the food and I know that you are going to be very happy with the service!! read more

This Chick-fil-A is always packed during lunch/dinner rush hour. I know because I always pass by and see long line for the drive-through. But I always visit this location during non-rush hour so service is stellar. :) DID YOU KNOW? When you order a kid's meal and if you don't want your "toy", you can exchange the toy for an ice cream cone! My friend who always had a small appetite always ordered the kid's meal and she exchanged the toy for an ice cream cone. She said all the other locations cheaped her out and gave her puny, small ice cream cones but this location is different! When my friend and I exchanged the toy for an ice cream cone, a manager looking guy gladly exchanged the toy for an ice cream and he made sure the ice cream cone was loaded with soft-served ice cream. My friend and I were both wow-ed by how big the ice cream cone was and enjoyed every bite of it! Oh, and of course, their food is super delish! I work as an EMT in the area and often times I try to get some fast food in between calls. Sometimes, while I wait for my order, we'll get a call and we would have to leave without getting our food. This Chick-Fil-A is the only place I've ever been to where I've ordered food, was unable to get my food because we had a call we had to respond to, and the employees refunded me the full amount I paid for the food. I haven't tried the food here, but if it's anything close to their customer service, I'm sure it's delightful. read more

I love this place! It's located on the corner of 182nd & Hawthorne blvd. Just look for the cars lined up on the side of street trying to get into the drive thru. The place gets super packed during peak hours, and is closed on Sundays. I've never gotten my orders messed up, and inside is always clean. The kids play area is extremely clean and has glass walls so you can see your kid play. They bring your food to your table so convenient especially when you got your little one with you. It gets very loud inside the place so if you are sensory sensitive you might want to stick to the drive thru. But if you want to beat the rush get breakfast after 9 (like I did today). read more

A lot more planning should have been put into effect before building this Chick-fil-A. The parking lot is just much too small. Its very difficult to park and enter the drive-thru because there is literally zero space to maneuver. No matter which driveway you come through, its a hassle. I have not dined in the actual restaurant at this location, but I have been in the drive-thru a handful of times. Luckily, all of my orders have been accurate. Its always crazy busy here and the lines can get pretty long. Aside from the chicken sandwiches, I absolutely love their soft-serve ice cream! Its great for a fast food restaurant. Ive always loved Chick Fil A and apparently so does the rest of my peeps in T Town! The grand opening was like Jesus' second coming! It brought crazy mad business to the little corner of 182nd and Hawthorne. For weeks the drive thru was hanging out of the parking lot and into the street. I remember how excited i was when I saw the "Coming soon: Chick Fil A" sign where the El Pollo Crazy used to be. Me and the bf were sure that this place would be pretty darn popular soon despite there being another chick fil a in the Galleria mall and then later - another one opening up next to Fresh N Easy. Most people usually gravitate towards drive-thru because it is supposed to be faster and you don't have to waste time trying to park (This parking lot is small! I point blame to construction's primary focus on giving the building a 2 lane drive- thru and a play place) I however, am a strange breed and i took my chances going in side and I kid you not, i was in and out in 5 minutes. This was within the first 2 weeks of opening it's doors. if you live in T town you know what a zoo it was at this time! I went in and the kids behind the counter were SO polite and they make an effort to call you by name for your food and they always say "My Pleasure" after I say "Thank you" The only downside ( and this goes for all Chick Fil A's ) is that they are closed on Sunday. I respect that, though. Its just like the olden days where people rested on the Sabbath. Hey! I wouldn't want banks to start being open on Domingo because I work for one. The lines appear long but the wait is not. Everyone here great job of taking orders and then making sure the food is done right. The wait at my table was less than five minutes. I sat by the window and watched the drive-thru proceed very quickly. My own meal was very good, and the waffle fries were plentiful for a regular combo. I love this standalone Chick-Fil-A. Parking was a pain in the butt. Because of the crazy crowds since its grand opening, they have guys working int he parking lots to help guide traffic for drive-thru and help people get in and out of parking spots. I was greeted by a host inside. Since when do fast food joints have hosts? It was that crazy during the first few weeks of its opening. The line, though it went out the door, moved fast because of the efficient workers. The food was good. It's a fast food chain. It pretty much all tastes the same. I usually get the regular chicken sandwich or the spicy chicken sandwich. And usually as a combo. They have Dr. Pepper, which is great. As well as orange soda. The sauces, of course are amazing. I love the Polynesian and Chick-Fil-A sauces. The Chick-Fil-A sauce is kind of like a white BBQ sauce. It has kind of a honey mustard taste, and yet the BBQ sauce flavor mixes in with it. The thing that set this Chick-Fil-A apart was the fact that they brought the food to you. Workers came and brought the food to you. They came and asked you if you needed refills. It was almost a full service restaurant experience. They have a play area for kids. The drive-thru has two lines for faster service. The only downside about this experience was that someone threw a bunch of sauce on my friend's car. I didn't see it but he messaged us when he left and was very pissed off. Sure, it wasn't the responsibility of the establishment, but there were workers in the parking lots. They should have been able to prevent something like that. read more

There's 4 Chick Fil-A that I know of in Torrance and this location is the closest to me. Hands down, the best fast food in my opinion. Best chicken sandwich. PERIOD! And I love the sauces on the side. My favorite is Honey Mustard and Polynesian. I always ask for extra to take home! But this review is mainly for their customer service.
