It's 1:30 pm. The parking lot is full and drive thru is 8 cars deep. I opted to dine in so I can sit, relax, and enjoy my meal. There was a long line and there were only a few tables open. Despite how crowded it was, service was smooth, fast, and done with a smile. There were 3 registers open so I was able to get my order in quickly. "How are you today?" and "Have a nice day!" were some of the greetings I heard. Very friendly and positive staff. The 5 star service continues when they deliver your food to your table. Rarely what you see on the menu is what you actually end up with. This was not the case of my spicy chicken sandwich. When I opened the lid what I saw was nothing short of the perfect mouth-watering chicken sandwich. Two perfectly sliced tomatoes stacked neatly and a crisp leaf of lettuce glistening on top of a wonderful breaded chicken with melted cheese. I thought I was looking at an advertisement. And the taste? Delicious! It had the right amount of spice and the chicken was crispy and moist. I like putting the chick-fil-a sauce in my sandwich. The condiments btw, are all for the taking. Unlike McDonald's, chick-fil-a is not greedy with the sauces. I washed it all down with a sweet tea. Love the taste of it because it has the perfect amount of sweetness. Getting refills was easy because there was someone always on point to refill. You can't get this kind of service or quality at any other fast food chain. I'm a food snob. As someone who has worked in the food industry for over 15 years, in every position from busser to manager, I know what great customer service means, and rarely do I find it. Too often, we settle for mediocre customer service, and simply accept it and rationalize it with the thought, "it's a fast food restaurant, I guess I don't expect them to smile." And then there is Chik-fil-a. Chik-fil-a raises the bar when it comes to customer service. In fact, Chik-fil-a should be the new standard. Companies should bring their employees to Chik-fil-a to see the difference. My goodness, could you imagine if Chik-fil-a employees worked at Starbucks?! The moment I walk in the door, I am greeted by someone, a manager, a cashier, any employee who sees me. There are GENUINE smiles on employees' faces - not the weary, forced Disney smile, but a contagious smile where you can't help but smile back at them. And the food - I always get the spicy chicken sandwich, no pickle, or the 12 piece nuggets. The breading is divine, the flavor is heavenly, this is the chicken sandwich of chicken sandwiches. I'm from the North, but if this is what the South is like, Lord have mercy, I'll give up being a Yankee in a heartbeat. Did you know coleslaw is good?! I didn't, until I tried it for the very first time at Chik-fil-a. I saw people saying grace before their meal. Not just one or two tables...several. That doesn't mean if you aren't religiously inclined you can't eat here - they welcome all, but I think it says something positive about a company when people are praying before meals. By far the worst Chick-fil-A I've ever been to.The people at the window are always talking and it takes them a while to acknowledge I'm there. A couple times they don't even know what I ordered. I had to tell them exactly what I told the person outside. I had the last straw with them a couple months ago. I ordered the new lemon kale salad and there were more than a couple hairs in there. I didn't know this till I got home. I had to drive all the way back. They thought I wanted to exchange it for something else. Yeah right, I'm never getting food from them again. Stopped by here to grab food on the way to Big Bear Lake over the weekend. Drive-thru took about 20-minutes, so I'd recommend just going down and buying your food as it'll probably be faster. I'd had Chick-fil-A once before and wasn't impressed. This time, I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich combo and it was a lot better than the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was juicy and fresh, and the infamous Chick-fil-A sauce was quite tasty. I'd come back and order this again. Two combos cost nearly $20, so it's pretty pricey for fast food. After a desperately long morning, my friend and I were FAMISHED! We were driving along the 210 headed from Mt Baldy to Mt High when we saw a strip mall with a Starbucks. We pulled off the highway and entered the mall.. and I was greeted with a pleasant surprise. A Chick-Fil-A! Just what the doctor ordered! I wanted to get the chicken minis (oh, yum!), but it was already 11am. Too late for breakfast, said the kindly dude through the drive thru box. Hmm. Friend and I debated... "Then can we have the 12 piece nuggets?" "With sauce, sir?" "Sure. Polynesian." "Anything else sir?" "And a fresh squeezed lemonade! Wait... is it REALLY freshly squeezed?" "Yes, sir. Freshly squeezed." "Okay, one of those." "Can I interest you in a lemon pie or another dessert?" "No thanks." (laughing) "I figured, sir." Friend then turned to me and said, "Man, even the drive thru people are nice in the boonies!" (No offense to anyone who lives in Upland. I'm leaving this review because not only Is this chick fil a great BUT mainly it's for a worker! Last night as I'm waiting for my food I see a customer waiting for his drink to be filled and it's BUSY so it's a mad house, well this ANGEL of a woman came out , backpack ON ready to LEAVE her shift for the night, stopped and ask the customer if he wanted his drink refilled and refilled it! Soon after I'm walking out with my food, both hands full and she's also on her way out and she asks me if I needed help and held the door open for me. I didn't take her help as I was ok and she was leaving home so I didn't want to stop her from going home after a long day of work plus I saw her already do something so kind off the clock. She made me aware of a step I almost didn't see and told me to be safe and careful. I wish I knew her name!!!! She was SO SWEET!!! Such an Angel. I've only tried Chik-fil-A twice and I'm already addicted to the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with the Chik-fil-A sauce! Since I work close-by I will be coming here more often and I will also try their other goodies. Customer service is superb, there is always a long line at the drive-thru but it goes fairly quick. The last time I was there there was two people outside with their mobile device to put in order and you can also pay with them as well.. My favorite place to stop by on the way to Vegas, Big Bear, or Lake Arrowhead!!! Their chicken nuggets are quite tasty, though a bit salty like any other fast food. Their waffle fries are also very good. The parking lot is huge and easy to get close to the store. The plaza also has many other stores that will likely cater to your needs such as banks (Wells Fargo and Chase) and Starbucks. I have a tendency to pick up some bad habits from the places where I used to live. A taste for fried chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and oh so delicious sweet tea is what I most recently picked up from my stay in Dallas. If it meant walking 10 miles through the Mojave desert to reach the nearest Chick-Fil-A, I would do it. The first time I heard about the simplicity of the chicken sandwich (fried chicken, pickles, bun) I scoffed. But then these lips of mine tasted chicken sandwich heaven. The only thing more intoxicating is their sweet tea. I mostly drink water on a regular basis, but for their sweet tea, I would make an exception any day. My only wish is for them to build more locations in LA so that I don't have to schlep across the inland empire to get my Chick-Fil-A fix!!! Okay, I don't think that I've ever been in a Chick-Fil-A where they have been so polite. The kids that work here are so well-trained in customer service that it's ridiculous. Chick-Fil-A isn't really cheap anymore, when you're paying $8 for a chicken strips meal, but they are really good. And they're four good size pieces too. This is the first store I've been in where they just put out the sauces for everyone to take. It's like you're on the sauce honor system. Never have I ever had terrible service at a Chick-fil-A! I am completely shocked by the awful service I received from a MANAGER. I placed a mobile order about 10-15 minutes before my friend drove through to pick it up. When she got there she was told there was no order, even when she gave the order #. Team members searched and said there was nothing. Even though they took my money & it showed processed on my end. I then called the store and talked with Angel (acting manager). She proceeded to rudely tell me that my food had been sitting on her counter for 30 min+. That it was my fault and not her stores because my friend went through the drive thru. She offered no apologies for the mix up, I had to request a refund for food I'd not received and she spent the next 5 minutes telling me how wrong I was. I could care less about the food- but customer service is KEY! And Angel- as a manager- and representing a Christian company showed NO customer service at all. I asked for her supervisor's email or number, and was told I had to catch them in store. Then I asked for the owner's email or phone number, or an HR person, or customer service, and was told that there is no contact information for anyone besides her in the store. I find it hard to believe that you're unable to connect with the owner of the organization, or any HR or customer service manager. I have ZERO plans of returning to this Chick-fil-A. My first time eating at any Chick-Fil-A. I must say that I'm impressed with the food. So I ordered the chicken strip combo, chicken strips, fries, and a regular soda. The food was delicious. I was surprised at the condiment bar that they have all of those different types of sauces for the customers to try. Unlike some other fast food places that are stingy with their BBQ sauce (Mc Donald's), this place had like six different flavors for you to try and you can have as many as you like! Would you believe this was my first ever time visiting a Chick-fil-A? Their food would've set the bar for all future Chick-fil-As..... and where did the bar fall? Well, significantly above McDonald's. I felt soooo dirty going there with all the support its been receiving from people who are against the LGBT community. Jerks. Their chicken nuggets and strips consisted of REAL chicken and not that mystery blend that McDonald's serves, where only x% is meat and the rest is flour and whatever else. Even the fried outer layer is thinner with Chick-fil-A. And they actually serve FRUIT CUPS with their kids' meals?!? I'm not talking random cheap apple slices. I'm talking cut up pieces of strawberries, apples, canteloupe, and grapes. Awesome. And the toy that came with my kids' meal? A space exploration thing. They promote STEM amongst kids as well? Well, geez. I am SOLD as a parent. Also, if there's one thing people I know are certain of when if comes to dining with me, it's that I am CRAZY about condiments. The more dips and sauces you offer me to adjust the flavor of things to my liking, the more points you win. Provide hot sauce and you've pretty much scored. Chick-fil-A has a lot of sauce options. So why the 3*? Because the food did not taste good. My Mom tells me it doesn't usually have a bitter aftertaste. But this time, it did. And the waffle fries? They were stale by the time we got home.. 20 minutes later. __________ As a branch, no thank you. As a fast food option and brand, yes please. This is the worst chick fill a in the area! I've visited this location a few times, they have unfriendly staff. I tried to use a mail in coupon for a chicken sandwich in the drive thru, they said it will take about 7-12 min.! Really! Why even have a drive thru? One time, I tried to use a coupon, the crew said they don't take paper coupons anymore. Well, why do chick fill a keep mailing them then? Not a huge fan of traditional fast food, but decided to finally give them a try and find out what everyone was raving about. Went there for lunch a couple of weeks ago, and although the drive through line looked atrocious, and the store inside was filled with people we were in-and-out in less than 10 minutes with exceptionally polite and courteous service from all. Great start in my book. Now, the about the food. I got a Spicy Chicken Deluxe. The bun was fresh, the chicken was spicy, crispy and actually hot (unlike other places), and I really liked the waffle fries. Definitely two thumbs up!! Last, but not least...the restaurant was very clean, there was an array of condiments to chose from, plenty of utensils, napkins, even wet naps. What else can you ask for at a fast food restaurant? I love Chic-Fil-A, and wish we had one where I live. I have been here numerous times and think it's maybe one of the top 3 in terms of nice layout, seats, ordering counter, bathrooms, play area, etc. As always thew staff are really polite and friendly. The food comes out really hot and very fast. The seating is plentiful and open with plenty of options in terms of seating quantities. The drive through is easy and I have never waited long. I like the big open ordering counter, plenty of room. There is a big play area for kids with big windows that makes it easy to keep an eye on the little ones without having to be IN the play area losing your hearing. Can't say anything bad about the food. Either I think you love it or you don't. I do, I think the chicken sandwich is the best anywhere. The fries are amazing, and the mix of chic-fil-a sauce with the Polynesian sauce is the classic combo no one has bested yet. Anytime I drive to Lake Arrowhead and pass through Upland, this is my 100% go-to stop. read more

ChickFilA! Never disappoints. The food, wow! The Spicy Chicken Deluxe...yes please! The array of sauces at your disposal, I love that. They don't nickel & dime you with the sauces like McDonalds. Polynesian & CFA are my fave. The service, spectacular. No other chain can compete. Okay maybe in-n-out but I still think CFA takes the cake. First time coming here and boy am I happy we did! Soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a welcoming smile. Menu has a decent variety but I opted to just go sign a spicy chicken sandwich combo with waffle fries. No more than 3 mins went by while I was sitting down that a girl asked my name and happily gave me my food. The chicken sandwich was pretty plain with no condiments and just pickles. I think you can ask for the extra stuff but they have a condiment bar which has mayo, ketchup, etc. Soon as I bit into my sandwich, it was sooo juicy. Now, it's just spicy chicken but it was tender and again juicy. Not dry whatsoever. Being a big chicken eater, this is one of the best spicy chickens I've had. I love this location, it's always so clean and the restaurant itself gives you that intimate feeling even though it's considered fast food. I always go for spicy chicken sandwich, but finally tried the deluxe spicy chicken sandwich and my opinion is that it's not that great. Still good but the veggies didn't do much for me. I usually get HiC for a weird reason, and at this restaurant, they really watered it down. I don't mind watered down juice but this was over board. I thought I was drinking water with the tiny flavor of HiC. My boyfriend got the lemonade and oh my land it was concentrated. I don't know what's was going on. Sticking to water next time for sure, no more combo for ya girl. read more

We were driving home from the casino in Palm Springs and had to stop because my mom really had to pee. We get off the freeway and stopped here. It was sort of late and I hadn't had dinner. I've heard a ton of good things and bad things about Chick-fil-a, but I think the closest I came to eating at one was stealing some fries off a friend when we had a layover at the Dallas airport and I don't remember much of the experience because I was pretty hung over. Anyway.... On my way back to the Bay Area, I had a hankering for a fast food chicken sandwich. I don't get those urges that often, but when I do, I usually get the spicy crispy sandwich at Wendy's. There was a crazy traffic jam on the 210, so I decided to pull over and eat at the Chick-fil-a I knew was close by. SO, before I continue, let me talk about fast food real quick. I really don't eat it. If I do, it's like once or twice a year if that. It has a lot to do with the quality of the food, the ingredients, and the entire fast food culture which seems entirely alien to me. I can appreciate the fact that you can get a McDonalds' hamburger anywhere in the world and it will pretty much be the same, but that removes the hand crafted adventure I enjoy when I visit a restaurant and get a unique experience even if it's a dish I've had before somewhere else. I feel that fast food caters to the lowest common denominator and that really ends up giving everything a bland taste. OK, stepping off the soap box now.... The Chick-fil-a store was unnaturally clean like a restaurant from the future or something. I'll give them a lot of credit for that because most fast food places really don't seem to care about the presentation of their establishments. The cashier was so nice I wanted to reach over the counter and give her a hug. She even wished me happy holidays and happy New Year! I actually added a star to this review just because of her! SO, what about the sandwich? I just got the regular chicken sandwich and it tasted like a blander version of the Wendy's sandwich.
