    Gidget the manager
    Stephanie M.

Huge pain- we are a college team with a large order and we are a state school that is tax exempt. Managers name is Gidget and she refuses to put it through as tax exempt. She even faked a phone call to come back to the front and tell us they do not give anyone tax exempt unless it's a catered order. We have an official paper copy we said they could keep. But now we have been here extra long and not getting anywhere. The other works have been awesome. They are trying to still fill our bags while Gidget fakes phone calls. I can promise we won't make this stop again and we can take our team of 15 elsewhere.

I am not a huge fan of Chick-Fil-A but they do have some delicious options such as the Breakfast Chicken Hash Scramble Bowl and the Grilled Chicken Filet. I usually don't mind coming to this location because the portion sizes are way better than the other ones I have been too in VA Beach. Today the line didn't seem that bad, so we decided to get Chick-Fil-A before we hit the road to Busch Gardens. We waited about 25 minutes in Drive Thru and the line was not long whatsoever. I debated walking inside but the parking lot there was renovated months ago and I wasn't sure whether or not it would be longer or shorter, plus I already put Drive-Thru on my app. They do offer Dine-In so they could have been getting acclimated to having customers in their lobby again. I really enjoy the portion sizes given at this location and the food hasn't disappointed me here. The employees were nice, but definitely rushed my order out of the way, because it started to pick up. Overall it was a decent visit but the wait time took longer than usual.

Ordered large fries- see picture of what I received- ridiculous!! This is not the first time this has happened here

SO DISAPPOINTED!!! Me and my family loves Chick-Fil-A. We went on drive thru and ordered breakfast meal with coffee for the drink. Good thing I thought of adding creamer to my coffee and as I remove the lid of my cup, I saw a COCKROACH floating on my coffee. SO DISGUSTING!!! Luckily I haven't taken a sip yet! We go around the drive thru again to let them know about the situation but they just ask if we want them to give us another cup of coffee. THEY DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE and I said I want a refund several times but they keep on insisting to give me another cup of coffee. Well of course not. Who would want another cup after seeing a cockroach. I'm glad my 2yr old daughter just took a small bite from her hash brown. Who knows, the roaches might be everywhere in their kitchen. This store needs to train their staffs about proper sanitation and good customer service!!!

This was the frosted coffee they served me. Do you see it separating?!

So this morning I ordered a number 1 combo and a frosted coffee and cookie for a friend. Growing up in Virginia Beach, there was a standard to how food was served. I don't know what happened, I really want to give ChicFilA the benefit of the doubt, but this service was subpar. Picking up my food at the drive thru, I made sure that it was my order and made sure to ask if this was really the frosted coffee. I came home and the frosted coffee smelled sour and tasted sour. I tried calling them to let them know, but no one picked up. It was 100% disgusting and appalling to see and smell.

I have not been to this location in a really long time...like several years. From what I could see it remained the same. I was never a huge fan due to the lunch time mobs, that remains unchanged. My visit was a mid morning on a Saturday. No issues with parking and the lot and walks were free of debris. When busy during weekday lunch they get crushed!!! Parking is horrible, a line is out to the street. They have two drive-thru lanes. The staff interaction when ordering was fantastic. Order placed and received with no errors. Chicken mini's & breakfast sandwich was out in 5 minutes. However, they did not ask about ketchup. This location does not place it out. So that was my single complaint. The food was hot and tasted great. The dining room was tidy and they had staff working on keeping it that way during my breakfast. Someone mentioned a 2015 remodel in a tip. I would return, but again the hassle is too great during peak rush with the small lot.

Maybe it's healthier than McD's, maybe it isn't. I've had a cheeseburger here or there and it usually sits in my stomach like a lump for a while. Not so with the Chick-Fil-A number one (hold the pickles) and waffle fries. I prefer to go without the CFA sauce and instead grab a packet of hot sauce to pour on my chicken and then add a waffle fry or two. Yum. They now have *grilled* chicken nuggets in addition to the battered and fried ones. I'll have to try that next time! Drive through with two ordering stations seemed to be getting stuff done promptly.

We had a group of 8 adults and 1 child, and they accommodated us very easily. There's plenty of seating with a mix of booths and tables, so it never felt cramped. One of my favorite parts of the dining experience was that they have board games scattered throughout the restaurant. It made eating out with family much more enjoyable while we waited for our food. My daughter played Connect Four, the crocodile tooth game, and a fishing game, which kept her entertained the entire time. Even though we had a large group with several different orders, our food came out surprisingly quickly. We placed our order on the kiosk ourselves, but the staff still brought every dish out to our table, which was a nice touch. My go-to order is always the pork teriyaki bowl. It comes with a generous portion of pork and rice along with fresh julienned onions, carrots, and green onions. It also includes miso soup, you just have to remember to select the option to add it when ordering. My husband always gets the chicken sandwich with the sweet and savory sauce. The chicken is perfectly crispy every time, and the sauce really takes the sandwich to another level. My daughter loves the fried wings with the soy garlic sauce. They're crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sauce has a sweet, teriyaki-like flavor that's always a hit with her. If you have picky kids, you can also get it without sauce and opt for the dressing on the side to dip for $0.75. i always get an extra cup as their soy garlic sauce pairs well with my pork teriyaki bowl! The menu has something for everyone, with a great variety of Asian fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, rice bowls, noodles, and appetizers. It's one of those places we keep coming back to because the food is consistently delicious and the owners are always welcoming and kind. If you're looking to support a great local business, Chick N Roll is definitely worth a visit.

I might be the weird one but sometimes I just want 2 pcs of some appetizers for my meal, and this is a perfect option for me haha! They also got plenty of seatings and board games.

Maybe my point of reference are the Korean soy and garlic at other other places like Cx Chicken or Bxxchxx but these didn't have the soy garlic taste and it's soggy! The to go packaging was good: they had a hole in the styrofoam box lid to vent out steam, the Sando was tucked into the paper wrap so you can conveniently grab it without messing your hand up.

You can't go wrong with their ube or peach mango pie, fried chicken, pineapple juice, and spaghetti. People tend to not realize this is fast food. It's nothing too fancy but it can hit the spot. I love Jollibee's mission and theme of togetherness. Recently, I went in for their Final Fantasy collab since I love that video game series. I loved how cute the packaging and merch were. Our meal box came with free FF x Jollibee stickers and they were so adorable! The design on the cups was super cute too. I usually do online pick up orders, which go smoothly. However, the day I went to sit down was super busy. I think it was the Sunday post-church rush. We waited a little over 30 minutes. I wasn't too upset because I see the staff working hard, and I assumed I just came in at the wrong time. Either way, I'll be back! Take advantage of their rewards system! So if you're going, be prepared to stand in line for a bit. And listen... they actually handed me a buzzer to let me know when my food was ready! I've never gotten a buzzer at a fast-food restaurant before. The wait wasn't terrible, but it was definitely longer than I expected. I ordered the 6-piece chicken bucket with two sides, fries, mashed potatoes with gravy, a peach mango pie, and two drinks for $21. Not a bad deal at all! We got a mix of mild and spicy chicken. I'm definitely a white-meat chicken girl, so I was a little disappointed when my spicy piece was dark meat. It wasn't really my preference, but I will give Jollibee this: THE CRUNCH ON THAT CHICKEN WAS AMAZING! Now let's talk sides... Fries: Cold. Absolutely not. Mashed potatoes: Very little flavor and tasted like boxed potatoes to me. Gravy: NOW THIS had flavor! Definitely the MVP of the sides and perfect for dipping. Peach Mango Pie: Way too sweet for my taste. I couldn't get into it. Overall, Jollibee definitely deserves a try! The chicken crunch alone is worth experiencing, and next time I'd definitely switch up my sides and go with white rice and gravy. I'll also be skipping the dessert. Would I go back? Yes. Am I rushing back? Absolutely not. MY RATING: 5/10 The chicken has potential, the price was reasonable, and I'd try it again--but there's definitely room for improvement with those sides!

You can customize nearly everything, and while that kind of complexity could easily bog things down, I've found this location to be impressively efficient. The staff keeps the drive-thru moving, fast and to the point. That said, if you're new or just indecisive, I highly recommend going inside. The menu is huge, and if you're not ready when it's your turn, you might feel a little rushed. My husband and I text our orders to each other and read off our phones to keep things moving. Cook Out was once the king of budget eats -- I remember when a tray (entrée + 2 sides + a drink) was around $5. Those days are behind us. These days it's more like $7-$8, which still isn't bad, but the creep is noticeable. One of my latest discoveries that might change your life: they sell slices of cheesecake. Yes -- actual cheesecake for around $3. You can add any of their milkshake toppings to it. Crushed Oreos on your cheesecake? Done. Strawberry syrup and peanut butter cups? Go for it. It's dangerously indulgent. In short: Cook Out is chaotic in concept, but smooth in execution -- especially at this location. It's not fine dining, but if you're craving cookout classics with infinite combos and quick service, it hits the spot (esp late night cravings!!!!)
