I went to eat there last week and they had no running water the employees told me that they have no way to wash their hands and the owner refuse to let them go home told them to keep serving food to customers when the employees had no way to wash their hands absolutely disgusting and sickens me so I asked for my money back and they gave it to me with the next week the manager calls me or the owner didn't tell me which and was very confrontational and upset and didn't offer an apology or anything I would never eat there again if someone will allow their employees to keep working when they have no way to wash their hands and thinks that's OK that they lost my business forever read more

I love everything I have had from there. The food is always hot & fresh tasting. I drive by a few other chicken places (one @2 miles from home) because I would rather have theirs! I also love that you can buy a gallon of their tea because it is delicious as well. read more

The food was excellent and very hot and crunchy good fried chicken. The drive-through was a little slow they usually are but I had way less than 10 minutes which isn't bad that's why I only gave it four stars but other than that the food was good and so is the customer service. read more

I have been to this location twice in one week. The chicken tenders (spicy) are my absolute favorite. I have tried there sides ( corn nuggets/ fried pickles/ fried apple pie/ fried okra/ french fires). The were all okay but not my fav. I will always go for the chicken tenders and those delicious yeast rolls. I always get a extra on the side for my leftovers. And the gravy that comes with the combo is always creamy never watery. I chicken is fried so crispy even when you eat it the next day its still crispy!!. Drive Thru is always spot on with the order I usually go during lunch but they always get the lunch rush out the way. Thanks guys for great service. See you soon. I can't even. The chicken tenders are my absolute favorite fried chicken on this planet. The crunch is perfect, and the chicken is always fresh and moist. There's always a wait--I'm not sure why since they have mounds of food waiting?--but it's always so good the wait is worth it. I also love the cheap and plentiful half-and-half tea. My group of ladies that likes to meet up has nominated their poppers as their favorite of all poppers, but for me their fried pickles hit the spot! read more

The food is good but the wait is ridiculous in the Drive-Thru. Frequently, it takes up to 15 minutes just to place your order and another 15 minutes to get your order. It's ironic that it's name is Express and it's the slowest of all our fast food chicken choices. It shouldn't take half an hour to get fast food. Very slow service, food often not even warm . Even after talking to manager. Ms Anitra about previous issues, no help at all yesterday. And, I was not the only one complaining. I did call the DM on the receipt again and no return call. Guess they don't care . Sadly , I was exactly see this place as I had eaten once in Alvin and it was fresh,fast and staff and manager very friendly. Everytime I go here the fucking prices rise and the food gets shittier. This is the last straw. My mac and cheese was so disgusting I didnt even eat it. Very disappointing experience in the drive thru. Was told at the window it would be 10 minutes to prepare my fish and was asked to pull forward. After 27 minutes, my ordered was brought to me. Additionally, I was asked if I wanted tarter sauce and I said yes and in fact, could I have a few extra, which they said sure. So after more than 30 minutes waiting for my food, I got home and had no tarter sauce at all. I called the restaurant and spoke with Jackie (said she was a manager), she apologized and said if I bring my receipt on the next visit, she would give me a discount. Basically putting me in a position to carry around the receipt to get $2.00 off for my trouble. Very disappointing from beginning to end! read more

After visiting the Chicken Express on FM518 in League City Texas, it was truly the worst drive-thru experience I've ever had. The young lady didn't say one word to me the entire time. No smile, nothing. I called and spoke to a manager about it and she really just didn't seem to care. She didn't even ask me what happened. I spent $25 there and I won't do it again! She was super excited and the food didn't let us down.. chicken and the chicken strips are great, I love the gizzards and biscuits. First time visiting this restaurant. Was very excited to try their chicken but left very unimpressed. Chicken strips were very bland, thank goodness for the gravy. Mashed potatoes were ok. My daughter kept saying they were slow why are all the tables dirty the rest of place looked clean. I've eaten here a few time since this location opened and have really enjoyed their chicken strips and fried chicken livers. When I came in on my most recent visit I ordered livers and chicken strips for my family's dinner. When I got got home I realized that my livers were burned to a crisp and hard as rocks. I called up the store and told them that the livers I got were burned and the person on the phone asked me "what do you want me to do about it?" I told him that wild like to come back for new livers and he said okay and hung up. I went back to the restaurant with the burned livers in case they wanted to see them. The girl at the counter took my box and threw it away. Then another man working the kitchen went over and looked at them and rolled his eyes. The manager behind the counter also rolled his eyes at me and the girl got me my new non burned livers. I felt very disrespected by the kitchen staff and the manager. I don't think I will ever return to this restaurant again. read more
