Parking is pretty limited. There are very few parking spots in the back, but there is street parking nearby too. Menu was pretty small. Three sandwich options to choose from and then some combo fried chicken options. I ordered the Naughty-chick sandwich ($13.74). All orders came with a side of fries, coleslaw, or mac and cheese. I opted for the fries. The sandwich had a bit of a kick to it and a whole lot of jalapeños.. which I loved as someone who likes spicy food! The chicken was juicy and thick, leaving me extremely satisfied and filled without even touching my fries yet. The sauce they use in the sandwich pairs well with the buns and the chicken. The fries were seasoned with some sort of spicy (maybe cajun) seasoning. They were quite good. I do wish that they offered an option to just get the sandwich and not a side. My friend asked about it and they said they could do it but for the same price, so there wasn't really a point to not getting a side. We found this place because we were looking for a late night dinner and settled for late night take out. We ordered the Naughty Chick sandwich combo abdthe 4 piece combo which is really just two 2-piece combos. The fried chicken is excellent. The batter is medium thick and has a great crunch to it. The spices have a slightly different flavor to it. Here's my one disappointment, we get two sides with the 4 piece combo and one side with the sandwich BUT they ONLY have fries, no cole slaw and no Mac 'n cheese. Needless to say I was mildly disappointed but the fries were crispy and worked fine. We got there around 10:00 pm ish (it's the first week of November), it's a take out joint with fast food restaurant type of seating if you wish to dine in. We were thinking of eating there but started freezing our butts off as we waited for our order and decided to take it home. 15 mins later we opened the containers and the chicken was still crispy. Food quality/flavor: Average. The chicken breast appears quite large at first, but that is due to the excessive breading. The breading/coating tastes like it is buttermilk based and is very crispy, but flavor is very plain and lack of any spice. All the flavor and heat comes from the sauce and sliced serrano peppers, which are packing some serious heat and there were some extra at the bottom of the box to add more. Fries were good thick cut style and had a cajun style spice to it. They should have added the same cajun spice into the breading. Also, would have preferred the sesame bun to be a toasted a bit more. Overall good chicken sandwich, but not memorable. Service: Great. Reasonable 15min wait time for a food truck that's making the sandwiches fresh. Cost/Value: Average. $15 (incl taxes) for sandwich and fries. Seems pretty reasonable compared to other burger places. Visit again? Finally, I tried this place out. No business name outside of it, so at first it's hard to tell what kind of food they sell. Fried chicken was surprisingly good. I liked the crispness and flavor. I've recently started to like cole slaw, so this was ok. Seasoned fries Lemonade was too sweet. I had to water it down a little. I've ordered from Chicken G's 40+ times and love the sandwiches, but the mac and cheese situation is frustrating. It's unavailable about 50% of the time, and when I do get it, it's always cold. Just had my mac and cheese canceled again, leaving me with just a greasy sandwich and coleslaw - not enough food. The mac and cheese recipe could easily be improved too - it needs more cheese and to be served hot. You're so close to being great! Please keep it consistently available and actually hot. Tried this place for the new time and wow! This place is amazing ! Food was spot on all around. The chick tenders were so crispy! Even later, the chicken tenders were still crispy. We really really wanted to like this place. Parking is not great so go on an off time or plan to park down the street which is not a huge deal. It's super small inside and it was super dirty. The guy taking orders was unfriendly and seemed angry at the world. It took about 20 minutes to get the food which is not a big deal if the food is fresh. There was 3 of us. We ordered 2 sandwiches and my husband ordered the 3 piece chicken. The chicken itself has a nice crunch but it wasn't well seasoned. The fries are not good. Not sure what happened but they're soggy and unevenly cooked. The bread killed the sandwiches. Made the chicken super soggy. Our last visit to this place didn't go too well, but they owned up to their mistake and made up for it by refunding an order with missing items. The chicken in their sandwiches are generously portioned. The sauce they use compliments the spice blend with the chicken. We've stayed away from this place for a while after questioning the cleanliness and food safety practices shown by the front counter employee. The to-go bag we received was greasy because he never changed his gloves between handling the register and packing the food in to-go containers. The owners need to train their employees to properly and safely handle food preparation, and to be self-aware of frequently changing gloves when switching tasks. Or, simply have another employee handle the register and bagging duties. If you are a frequent customer, observe how your food is being handled and don't be to shy to ask the front counter employee to change their gloves when handling your order. Otherwise, you may have a stomach bug waiting to happen. read more

My friend and I went here at 11:45pm Monday night, right after attending a concert at Shoreline. We both ordered the Naughty-Chick with fries, but I asked like 4 times while ordering if I could have mine without lettuce (I can't eat iceberg lettuce). The person taking our order (Ali K according to our receipt) said they couldn't separate it (what?). Okay I guess, I could just remove it. We sat next to a table with 4 people seated; when our order came out, they said we couldn't dine-in and had to eat outside (while the group at the next table is still eating). Just to add, the person that told us this wasn't the same one that took our order. One of our friends meeting up with us showed up at 12:10am and ordered the same thing, and also asked for no lettuce...except they were able to accommodate that no problem. I would be tempted to give them one star...but honestly the food was really good. Despite the terrible customer service, I'm willing to try to come back either at another day with hopefully different workers, or just another location (apparently they have one in Fremont and SF also). Take out ordered on yelp. Ready in 10 minutes Not. Got there and didnt have my order however they acknowledge asked me what I ordered so it would take about 10 minutes took 20. That's OK. Got home. It was the wrong order however I was so hungry. I didn't care. Instead of the Gmeal I got the Big G sandwich which was good but could have been a 10 if they had make some changes. here's the two things were they failed on the sandwich. 1) too much mayonnaise . 2) the bun was inferior quality cheap and fragmented. but the chicken Wow! The portions are huge seriously I think two people with reasonable appetites could share one order with 2 sides There's a ton of fries and a ton of coleslaw, I would say enough for three people unless you're super hungry. Then just two. Summary: the chicken, they got that right excellent! The sandwich was not constructed correctly in my opinion. Too much mayo It's ridiculous. The coleslaw very very tasty however, way way too much mayonnaise. The french fries pretty much standard seasoned fries nothing to write home about. They get soggy by the time you get home for takeout, if you'll need to throw them in your toaster oven. They are boxed and trap moisture . Probably would be a better experience if you eat in the restaurant, but there aren't that many tables but you could eat outside. There's a few outside. I will definitely return but make a few changes. I will order the Gmeal or tenders forget the sandwich , no sides. I'll take the chicken use my own potato bun and construct my sandwich with less mayo and no cheese when I get home. Next no online pick up orders I definitely will CALL to order or order at the restaurant . If you're going to pick up your order, I would suggest not to use online ordering platforms, including YELP unfortunately. I did see a DoorDash worker come in so maybe delivery is okay. So I was randomly looking for something that was open late in Mountain View and came across Chicken Gs. I didn't think much of it and then I looked at the reviews and said "Ok OK, I see y'all are working with something". I learned right away that this might be my new go to chicken spot whenever I'm in the area. The bone in chicken is really good but the TENDERS AND CHICKEN SANDWICHES??? These are some of the best in the bay area no question. The don't advertise the tenders on their menu for some reason so you need to ask for them. I think the chicken sandwiches are 10/10. The interior was hot, didn't seem like there was AC. I would prefer takeout from here. The chicken sandwiches were good. The chicken was huge and crispy, but I wish there was a bit more seasoning and flavor on it. Next time I would want to try the spicy Naughty chick sandwich. The fries were not that hot but the seasoning on it was good, a bit spicy. The macaroni and cheese was not bad especially since it was free. Went for Dinner Food - 5/5. The big G chicken sandwich is an excellent golden standard for chicken sandwiches. There is no secret sauce or topping that makes it amazing, the chicken itself is superb. The minute differences in the batter gives it excellent texture as the slightly concentrated parts of breading just gives it extra crunch. The entire chicken was so crunchy with the meat matching that level in juiciness. Garlic sauce helped balance the heavy fried flavor, vegetables were crisp and the bread's thickness ratio matched the chicken. Fries were golden brown and crispy. Service - 4/5. Food came out quick and the assembly is completely visible. Other items are self-serve such as ketchup, napkins, utensils, and a water dispenser. Value - 5/5. I ended up here on a late night excursion and was surprised to discover that they are open until 1AM EVERYDAY. Most parking is street parking (off El Camino and to the side of the rear) with a tiny lot behind them. There was some indoor seating (and 1-2 tables outside) but I think it was packed up as it was late. Nice casual spot that looked very clean for a spot that is open until 1AM-very impressive. There's also a prayer room in the back if you're so inclined. Now to to good stuff: they've got chicken sandwiches or strips that looked made to order aka fresh. The menu is very simple and uncomplicated. I opted for strips which came with delicious seasoned fries and Texas toast! The batter was quite delicious and I suspect the meat was brined therefore flavorful. It was so good that by the time I got home the food was gone. Kind of hole in the wall with super small menu but taste and quantity..yummy I was in for a surprise as all we knew we wanted was fried chicken sandwich. This popped up on yelp and said it was spicy. Holy Moly why did we wait so long to finally try Chicken G's. The portions are huge at a great price too. The chicken was moist and perfectly crispy. The fillings, slaw, sauce etc paired really well with the sandwich! I was full after eating half but had to keep going bc it was so good! We also ordered some tendersnon the side. They were also really good but we definitely over ordered. They still tasted amazing heated up in the air fryer the next day. Cant wait ro come back for more! Unfortunately not a fan. Crispiness is there, it's great, however, flavor profile not there. It was too strong and packed with unwelcoming flavors to our palates. Same applies to the dipping sauce. Also we got it to go and the sauces were not closed. Some of the sauce was spilled on our way back home. The fries were good and the Mac and cheese. The Texas toasts were soggy, just subtly toasted. There's something about a loaded, well-seasoned chicken sandwich with fries that just hits the spot. Especially after a gym session. Sure, it sounds counterintuitive, but you'll probably do the same thing once you see how glorious this sandwich is. I got there around 5:30 during the week and was able to get a table very easily, but it definitely started to get busier around 6pm. The fries were seasoned very heavily which I LOVED. I was very hungry so I gobbled it up but it definitely could be saved for another meal. However, I have no self control and decided to eat the whole thing in one go. Only downside of the burger was that the bun started to fall apart from the sauce, etc. But overall, I'm very happy with my meal. Was passing by randomly and decided to stop by with my dad. It's a small corner restaurant with a tiny parking lot but plenty of street parking. Small menu too but that's when you know they do those few things well. -Big G ($13.75) - I ordered it with fries as my one side. It's a usual chicken sandwiche with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and cheese but with a homemade garlic sauce. This fried chicken was pretty magical. Chicken was supremely juicy and tasty. The sauce was amazing and toppings were plentiful and fresh. French fries were good too. Very seasoned. But could've been more fries in my opinion. -Combo #1 ($12.99) - comes with 2 pieces of chicken and a side, which I chose Mac n cheese. These chicken pieces weren't as good. They were a little overcrisped but the meat was still very tender and tasty. The sauce they give with it definitely made it really good. I think it would have been perfect if the skin was not overly crisp and a bit more seasoning, it would be perfect. The mac n' cheese was delish. Super cheesy but not in an artificial way at all.
