Pickle chips and deviled eggs were alright.

Went on a date night with the wife (yesterday). The place is a disorganized mess. Building is poorly planned out, you can't sit down and order, you have to order at the entrance. The bar area is lame with disinterested bar tenders. The beer is warm and served in plastic, their mixed/frozen drink menu is very limited and not very good. Kids running amuck all over the place. Disgruntled employees picking up jenga blocks and corn hole bean bags, lots of mosquitoes. First and last time.

I decided to have our annual Friendsgiving here. Its in Webster, so a far drive from katy but worth it. The reservation process was soo easy. They reminded me along the way. Plenty of parking. I walked in 15 minutes early and the court was ready. We played hard and laughed hard. It was spacious for our friendsgiving activities. Cj was absolutely amazing. He helped us out with anything needed. The food was good. The Paloma was great. Definitely a good spot for a gathering.

We love this place and their jerk chicken. We were offered complimentary crawfish tonight and it was amazing. They will have it on weekends for around $7/pound. Spicy and flavorful.

First time here. The menu looks great. The atmosphere is fun. The place is huge. With a lot of indoor and outdoor space.

The venue itself looks amazing with all the pickleball courts, TV screens & other activities/games. We came on a weekday for lunch so it was not very busy. Quick service (you order at the counter) & they bring out your food. Lots of seating (even an upstairs area which was closed when we were there). We sat inside and didn't do any games so can't comment there. My chipotle chicken bowl (with chicken tinga) was good, however I didn't notice until after we ordered & paid that it was a lunch special which came with a drink (would have been nice if this was pointed out sooner). Wings were very disappointing considering others said they were good. Tasted like they were frozen and reheated, rubbery without flavor. I would go if you were there to socialize and play pickleball/activities, maybe not just for the food. Didn't get drinks but looked like they had good options.

On November 8th, 2025, We had our Annual Friendsgiving at Chicken N Pickle @Webster Tx location. Their food was pretty good because I decided to just get The CNP Burger with fries to go ,and I tried a couple of cocktails. The waiter was very friendly, and the service was really great. FYI: At Chicken N Pickle it's cashless ,so you can use credit/debit cards only. The ambiance was so cool...it felt like a big adult playground ,but all ages are welcome! You could play Pickle ball, and they had other activities as well. But, what a fun and great way to celebrate Friendsgiving with these awesome ladies. Yes...I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu! I give this place a 10/10...

I wish they had more vegetarian options but the power bowl was pretty scrumptious. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. We played pickle ball for an hour on the outdoor court and had a blast. We also enjoyed playing corn hole, jenga, and battleship out on the lawn.

May 8, 2024 Came from Galveston and played doubles with friends from 9p-11p. Nice courts. Food looked good, too! I have a friend now that works there so, that's a plus

One of several new restaurants to open in the Clear Lake area, Chicken N Pickle in Webster has been on my dining bucket list for a minute. It's really cool how the place combines my favorite bird with a sport I want to try, pickleball. I, however, came here to eat, not play pickleball. But I was glad to learn that there are coaches who tutor novices on the game. Speaking of eating, I welcomed myself to CNP with the 1/4 rotisserie chicken. The entrée consists of the poultry itself, tortillas, avocado, and a Serrano pepper. It was a great debut meal to have. The chicken was nicely seasoned and cooked, baring a satisfying, juicy flavor. The tortillas acted as a hot and fresh side dish for the chicken with the avocado on top. I happened to eat the Serrano pepper, and I must say it was spicy, but not the point it ignited my mouth. To cap my inaugural dinner, I enjoyed the Triple Chocolate Cookie. Clean and pristine, the staff ought to be commended for the excellent upkeep of the eatery, which is spacious, to say the least. It possesses a fun for all ages vibe, and with summer just around the corner, CNP should anticipate an uptick in business. It also helps that the adjacent Great Wolf Lounge will open in August. For the life of me, I think the low number of stars is unjustified, but then again, different strokes (no pun intended) for different folks.

This was one of those 'let's try them out' gigs and yes they did deliver. It felt weird to order your food at the counter, but that's their deal, so ok. I loved the ambiance and everyone was more than friendly. If ya' got tons of screens and sports, then I'm all in!! There was a lot of staff (manager, GM) and a lot of what appeared to be training and working on other areas. So I got the 1/2 rotisserie chicken with the jerk seasoning and as for the sauce, he offered all 4 of them and I must say, it was a great treat to have them all because they were very different but delicious. I got 1/2 chicken because I wanted both white and dark...this chicken was absolutely delicious. I overstuffed myself because I wouldn't stop eating it. The tortilla was good to wrap up the chicken and dip into the sauce. And it would be nice if they didn't tuck the tortilla under everything else because that made it super soggy. The deviled eggs were pretty to look at but I didn't like them. I'm not a mustard person but if you are like my husband, then you'll like them, he enjoyed them but it was a firm NO for me. Plus I wished they would have brought the appetizer out first instead of all together. As for dessert...the Winston Brownie was very good.

First time pickler here, and I see what the hype has been about! As its name implies, Chicken n Pickle serves chicken based meals, along with Pickleball courts. Depending on your preference, you can reserve either an indoor ($20 for one hour) or outdoor covered court ($10 for one hour). There are 2 buildings, one being the restaurant and the other being the indoor courts. In between, you'll find tons of outdoor yard games, tables, and seating. Chicken n Pickle is family friendly, so you'll find little ones running amuck (watch out!). As far as the food goes, it's pretty standard American. You'll find rotisserie chickens and a variety of other chicken options such as smokey wings, chicken sandwiches, and salads or bowls with chicken. The food was pretty mediocre to me. Nothing exceptional, but also not horrendous.

I went during the soft opening, so all of the food was free. Patrons only had to pay for the cocktails, but I didn't get one because they were bringing around samples. I liked Life's A Peach and the Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade, but my favorite was the Knotty Cherry! If you like cherry and you like vodka, then this is the drink for you! I tried the Brisket Mac & Cheese and the Quesadilla. They were both good, except the quesadilla was labeled as shareable. But if you go to any Mexican restaurant and place an order for one, you will get the same size that I got. It was not "shareable" in my opinion! They have a nice private room with a private bar. There is also seating upstairs and outside and on the outdoor upstairs patio. There are TVs throughout the restaurant, as well as outdoors, so this would be a great place to come to watch sporting events! They have a nice, large outdoor seating area with outdoor heaters for when it gets cold, and fans for when it gets hot. There are also lots of cool games set up, like foosball, big Jenga, Connect Four, corn hole, and even big battleship! I've never played Pickleball, but I did check out the pickleball courts both inside and outside. They looked very nice, and there was a nice bar by the courts on the inside of the building. Last but not least, they ARE DOG FRIENDLY!!!

I've been to the one in San Antonio. It's nice to have one in the Houston area. They have been open for about a month now. We had two indoor courts reserved. While we played, we ordered drinks and they took awhile to come. After playing, we moved to the other building since others reserved the courts after us and we needed to vacate the table and chairs. You have to go to the cashier to order food. They won't take your order at the table unless it's drinks. Then they give you a number to place on your table. The food is delicious. The service wasn't great and was slow even though there were many waiters/waitresses. It's nice that they have many games like cornhole, battleship, Jenga, ping pong tables, etc. Dogs are allowed too. We will definitely be back.

The cookie was baked to soft perfection. I went with a friend who thankfully knew to join the waitlist about an hour before we planned to arrive, which made the wait very manageable. Had we not known that important little tip, we probably would've been waiting close to an hour. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, and I'd definitely go back again.

However, my last experience with this establishment left a horrible taste in my mouth. Therefore, I am giving them an extra star for the previous experiences. On May 17th, 2026, my best friend and I had been looking forward to coming to Water Oak all day and had our taste buds set for the occasion. We were famished and had quite a day up until arriving. Upon entering the restaurant, we were very briefly greeted by the a Hispanic man who I assume is the manager and told that they were "no longer seating for the day". I glanced around and saw that every table inside WAS seated, however there were many tables outside that were empty. I asked about the patio stating that us where we preferred to sit anyway, and was met with that they were also not seating the patio at all for the rest of the day. However, there was a group of 3 women seated outside on the patio at that exact time. I didn't say anything, simply turned and left. After having "one of those days" hashing out something so minute with a person who clearly didn't want us in their place of business was not something I was about to do. Keep in mind, we came on a Sunday afternoon. Prime brunch time. We arrived at the restaurant around 2:30PM, and their website says they don't close until 4PM. I am a biracial black woman and my friend is white. I noticed a significant amount of White and Latino patrons, but a shocking lack of Black people. With Houston having one of the most diverse populations in the US, it is almost impossible not to see at least one individual of each ethnicity in a place at any given time. I am definitely not one that likes to pull the race card, because oftentimes that is not the issue. However, as someone who is familiar with the service industry I understand Sundays can be extremely overwhelming. And I am cognizant that not everything is that serious. But, I am also aware that a lot of people in the industry discriminate against people of color, with stigmas that we don't leave enough gratuity or we "don't fit the vibe of their establishment". And those 3 women seated on the patio? All White. After reading recent reviews, it seems that management is discriminating against people of color, more specifically Black folks. This is an extremely disheartening and sickening realization to make, seeing as I have given well over $1,000 worth of my money here but also enjoyed many meals without issue. To management: It breaks my heart to have to write this review and to be honest, I wouldn't have written it if I hadn't seen others posting about similar experiences in addition to also feeling discriminated against. I highly suggest that if you are "not seating" after a specific time, you announce this via social media or alert potential patrons with a sign or something of the sort. & obviously, there is such an issue with treatment towards POC that it is a noteworthy problem via your Google & Yelp reviews. You will have a much bigger fish to fry on your hands if you continue to let this issue go on unrectified. I would be willing to return if I felt things were to be changed for the better in the future! Hopefully this review sparks a much needed conversation and brings attention to an area which needs work.

The ambiance was nice as we walked in, and after being quickly seated next to a window, the atmosphere was nice. They did end up covering the window before we started eating, and the little bulb way above us and candle did not really provide light enough for us to eat (I get it is mood lighting, but I like seeing what I eat). The food was really solid, though. A few times I've been in the past it was all too salty, but this time around it was much better. I got the Farm Bird, and it was very juicy and had a very nice crunch. The Fish and Chips were nice and flaky, while the Pork Chop was extremely juicy and rich. The shrimp in the rigatoni was definitely oversalted, as well as the broccolini greens in the pork chop dish. The appetizers we got (Brussels Sprouts and Spinach Artichoke Dip) were both okay, though I prefer garlic bread to the chip for the dip and the sprouts were a little one note. The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Overall a very surprising experience, and while it carries a heavy price tag, it is absolutely a good choice if you're looking for a nicer meal out here.

They have small breakfast items such as yogurt or oatmeal bowls, you can also create your own egg bowl, or you can have one of their breakfast sandwiches. You order at their counter, and the lady was very nice and so helpful, since she had asked if it was our first time there. I ended up ordering their Farm Stand which is a bagel sandwich that has an egg patty, American cheese, and bacon. I had that with their Cuban Latte with soy milk and vanilla. My friend ordered their Avocado Toast, crushed avocado, Pico, cream cheese, and topped with a crumbled/crushed hard boiled egg on your choice of toast, she had that with a Cuban Latte as well with caramel. Everything tasted good! The only complaint I had was that the Latte wasn't sweet enough for me so we had to add sweetener, but the gentleman who made our order said we could ask them to make it sweeter next time when we put in our order that way it blends better with the coffee. They also offer baked goods such as mini donuts, macarons, cheesecake bites, mini cinnamon rolls, and more! You're also able to get lunch or early dinner here as well, I haven't seen that menu yet but their Liquids menu seems pretty large. I can't wait to come back and try their other items on the menu!
