When I'm not sure what to pack for school lunches I turn to Chicken Salad Chick. They make it super easy to order and pickup. I love how you can have the croissants, bread, or crackers on the side! That makes it super easy to make sandwiches for lunch boxes! There's so many different flavors that you won't get bored! You'll find sweet, savory, and even spicy flavors! 5 stars for good quality food and friendly employees.

I've heard great things about this place and was finally able to see for myself. Definitely exceeded my expectations! The staff were friendly and allowed me to sample. I decided on the Cranberry Kelli which was sweet and flavorful. The side of fruit and pickle were very fresh. But complimentary cookie was the "sweetest" surprise. While dining in, staff could be seen checking in with customers and collecting used trays. There is still good business out there, and it's here!

I was really excited to try their chicken salad, because for the past couple of weeks I've heard great things. This was my first time going to one of their locations and this review is solely based on their a la carte small chicken salad. When I walked inside, there was less than 4 people. I walked up to the counter and started asking the women general questions, such as what is the best chicken salad to try or what is your most popular meal. Instead of being helpful, she seemed annoyed and said grab a chicken salad from the fridge. I asked her again what are they most famous for and she said "Classic Carol". So that's what I chose and purchased the item. This was my dinner and I was not happy, for only 125 g/ ~4.4 oz of chicken, that I was charged 6 dollars. That seemed way overpriced for the size of the product. Since I was already annoyed with the service and package price, I was hoping to enjoy a high quality chicken salad. It was just... ok. The seasoning was decent, but that's about it. There's was only a small amount of celery and it tasted a bit processed. This chicken salad doesn't exactly compare to the freshness you'd taste from a small local business. In Cincinnati, I've tasted much better chicken salads. It's not that it was bad, it just wasn't great. I plan on visiting again to see if I have a better experience by ordering something different. I will update my review after that visit.

I just had hand surgery so I ordered just the chicken salad because I thought I could make easy sandwiches one handed. I ordered through Uber Eats. First off the portions I ordered were suppose to feed 2-3 people, the very small portion would make 1 sandwich and not a very generous one at that (to be fair when I was writing this I weighed a pack, they are 8 oz each I was surprised, so $18 a pound). CSC website shows the price as $6.99 per pack, delivery price $8.99 per pack (I don't know who increased the price CSC or Uber eats and frankly don't care, that's what I paid. I ordered Fancy Nancy, Olivia's Old South, Classic Carol and Barbie-Q. Instead of the BBQ I got Dixie Chick which turned out to be the only one that had its own flavor. .like biting into a raw onion! It was the one flavor on the menu that I did not want to try. When my order arrived I took a taste of Classic Carol, it had no flavor at all, nothing...it was a flavor vacuum! Hoping it was just the one I tasted each one, with the exception of the onion bomb, they all tasted identical with no texture to any, no celery, nothing. The Fancy Nancy had apple, pecans and grapes. The apple had been in it so long it had no crunch and tasted like the salad, didn't have a pecan and the one grape had a little pop and sweetness left, the whole thing tasted spoiled. I will save the entire order for cat food, although they won't eat the onion bomb or the Fancy spoiled one. I am a retired Chef after 46 years so I have a fairly decent palate. Not only am I disappointed and will never order from here again I feel cheated! That was a lot of money for some cat food!

I have always wondered "a whole restaurant for chicken salad?" So I finally tried it and it was delicious! Sassy Scotty was savory and cheesey and Olivia's Old South was a creamy and tangy. Loved both! My pasta salad was a little dry but still good. I definitely want to try Buffalo Barclays and the grape salad next!

This was a great spot to try out. The chicken salad has amazing flavors. The staff was friendly and nice. The service was fast. I love that they even threw in a mini cookie.

Not really buying their whole "made from scratch" thing. The chicken salads are highly processed- they contain preservatives and lots of additives.

Their staff does not do well during lunch time. They took 25 minutes to complete a simple order, and still messed it up.

The menu consists of numerous protein and vegetable options including vegan. The Mac N Cheese was a baked homey delight, the fried Okra was a well seasonend crispy goodness that tingled the taste buds with every bite, the collard greens cooked with smoked turkey and cornbread were perfection, the fried catfish was a visual delight; seasoned well and crunchy to the touch. My family members cooed over the cabbage, the sweet potatoes (not from a can), the chicken tenders, chicken wings with multiple sauce selections and the fried, flakey cod fish. I highly recommend the Watermelon Lemonade! Desserts were also on the menu without a doubt. A selection of pies, cakes, banana pudding and I must say the cookies and cream cheesecake cup was a chef's kiss at the end of a wonderful meal. This establishment knows homedown Soulfood and took us on a return journey to the kitchens and tables of our grandmother's and big momas. I can't say enough great things about my previous experiences at this establishment nor my most recent. Hats off and kudos to the owner, Nicky Nicole Stevenson; her staff and their knowledge of Soulfood cooking with great restaurant service needed in Cincinnati. I plan to frequent & bring more large parties in the future.

The restaurant was clean, though there were quite a few items near the front that probably shouldn't be visible to customers. The food was good overall! The yams and green beans tasted a bit like canned vegetables, but they were seasoned and "doctor'd up" really well. I'm definitely glad we stopped by and would come back to try more items on the menu!

They had parking, and although they were full on reservations, 2 spots at the bar opened up and we grabbed them happily! First, the food was FANTASTIC! I had the Willy Burger and my husband had the fried bologna sandwich and we both loved what we ordered and vice versa. The sauce on the burger was phenomenal! The drink menu was extensive and looked so good but we were in a bit of a hurry and I'm 6 months pregnant so we settled for waters. Second, the service was excellent. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The ambience was great, I loved the big open garage door and patio seating they offered. The decor was so cute! We are bummed that brunch reservations for tomorrow are full, but we will absolutely be back!

They have a nice outdoor area, which we avoided due to the current heatwave. We ordered two apps - FRIED GREEN TOMATOES - Topped with Libby's pimento cheese, pork belly lardons, bourbon onion jam, and herb oil and FRIED CHICKEN SKINS - Hand breaded and served with hot honey dipping sauce. The fried green tomatoes were nicely plated, though the pork belly lardons and bourbon onion jam did not have the most pleasant color. They were good, but not as great as the description. Fried chicken skin is the thing! I first had it when we lived in California. An Asian market served them up thinly breaded and fried perfectly crispy. I just about jumped out of my skin when I saw it on the menu at Libby's. The breading at Libby's is thick. It's tasty for sure, but it's quite thick. A quick glance at the chicken skins and it looks like full-on chicken. Anyway, they were very good and I would definitely order them again. I had a taste of the hot honey dipping sauce because it spilled. It was good, but for me it detracted from the flavor I'm looking for. I had to have the FRIED BOLOGNA BLT - House smoked bologna, pimento cheese, fried egg, house made BBQ sauce, spring mix lettuce, & sliced green tomato on grilled 16 Bricks sourdough. First, it was huge! I could only eat half. It was very good. All the different flavors mixed together well. It was messy!! It was so obviously messy the server brought over extra napkins without us having to ask! Top Notch! Oh, the mac and cheese side was just okay. I barely touched it. The second half of the sandwich was delicious cold. It was also not messy at all. The leftover mac and cheese had turned inedible in the fridge. I did not mind throwing it out. My friend had the CLASSIC TURKEY CLUB. It was also huge and she only ate half. The fries were crispy and delicious. Mark had THE DOC HOLLADAY. He said it was okay. He also only ate half. I think he enjoyed the cold leftover more. I like the menu; lots of options. The place is cute. The staff is great. We'd definitely come back.

It was so good the first time, we hit it again this afternoon. Cool, relaxed feel inside, great service and great food. Jameela served us on both visits and she was awesome. Every visit feels like a treat, but lately they've taken things up a notch with a lineup of signature cocktails. I tried the espresso martini, and it was outstanding--smooth, balanced, and the perfect complement to the bold, smoky flavors coming out of the kitchen. As for the food, it's consistently excellent. The dry rub wings are my go-to: perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat and flavor, and even better when paired with their bama white sauce. If you're leaning sandwich, you can't go wrong with a pulled pork or pulled chicken sammy topped with their Carolina gold sauce--it's tangy, slightly sweet, and completely addictive. And the fries? Thick-cut, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside--exactly what great fries should be. Beyond the food and drinks, Lucius Q really shines as a place to gather. They have a fantastic event space that comfortably holds around 50 people--perfect for parties or private events. It's also one of the rare downtown spots with plenty of TVs, making it a great place to catch a game. Add in live music most Fridays and a great outdoor patio for those perfect Cincinnati weather days, and it's easy to see why this place is always buzzing. Lucius Q is one of those spots I simply can't walk past without slowing down and breathing it in. Whether you're a Pendleton regular or just passing through downtown Cincinnati, it's a must-visit that delivers every single time.
