BarBQ Chicken Salad with Loaded Potato Soup.
    Jimmy T.

Stopped in for lunch today. I tried something different and got the Pimento Cheese BLT Sandwich. Very good and was one of the best Pimento Cheese sandwich I've had in a long time. Also had the Loaded Potato Soup and Broccoli Salad. These were also very tasty! Love the soup! My wife got the BarBQ Chicken Salad with Loaded Potato Soup. She said it was one of her favorites. Service was fast and friendly. Everything was very tasty and you can definitely tell everything was made fresh. Restaurant was clean and organized. Definitely will come back to this location in the future when we are in St Augustine!

Perfect statement. Never knew so many ways to make chicken salad. I chose the scoop and soup option! Delicious we'll be back !

Great place for lunch. Lots of salad options. I chose the classic with soup as a side. It was delicious and hearty. We'll be back.

I started my breakfast/lunch trek to Metro Diner but ended up at Chicken Salad Chick. I ordered the Fancy Nancy (Fuji apples, seedless grapes, & pecans) on a croissant. *A little on the sweet side which goes well with the side pickle spear. Friendly, fast service. They also have a grab and go case. Will definitely return and try their other salad combinations.

It was customer appreciation day today. Came by to try out the chicken salad. They were giving out free samples of their chicken salad. One big scoop for everyone who came by. All day long! We came in on a good day. The restaurant is located in a big plaza with plenty of parking. We were greeted by a very friendly lady by the entrance. Inside the very southern style restaurant it is bright and clean and has a big seating area. Very family friendly. They offer several flavors of chicken salads. The menu is full of lots of healthy choices. Prices are very reasonable. They also do catering for parties and corporate events. Get yourself a rewards card online. You get points for your purchases that can be used for free food or chick merchandise. You will also get a free meal on your birthday if you sign up. Can't wait to go back, the chicken salad was delicious!

Just wanted to get some lunch but their lettuce seems to have bugs on it. Obviously no one wants to eat that so uh, if you do decide to eat here, watch your food CLOSELY I guess...

Decided to give this place a try and boy was I in for a treat! My mother in law and I loved it so much, we went back today to order takeout to have for dinner tonight! Plenty of food for their portions. The restaurant was clean, tables appropriately marked closed for social distancing, employees very friendly but most importantly the food was delicious!!! We ordered the dill-icious chicken salad (dill flavoring with cucumbers) and it was so yummy/flavorful and the shredded chicken was incredibly soft. The loaded potato soup is fantastic too! And those little buttercream cookies, yes please!!!

I love it and I'm happy to eat lunch there every chance I get. They have like 10 different kinds of chicken salad and I love their grape salad! Service is usually quick and the food is always consistent and fresh...my favorite is the Cranberry Kelli chicken salad but I also love the Barbie Q...& I always get the grape salad as my side: it's green and red grapes tossed in some vanilla yogurt (maybe) with pecan pieces and brown sugar sprinkled on the top!! Mmmm mm

There is plenty of outdoor seating, however, we sat inside, at a table with a lovely view of the outdoor patio. The menu was vegetarian friendly, and many of the menu items can be made vegan. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes, made vegan, and served with herbed ricotta and basil aioli on the side. We both ordered the Black Bean Sweet Potato Burger, one vegetarian with pimento cheese, and one vegan. Everything was prepared and served with care--the servers identified each dish as it came out, noting whether it was vegan, which is always appreciated. This was by far the best meal we had on this trip to Florida--every single bite of food at Floridian was an explosion of flavor. We saw a vegan coconut cake in the display but were too full to try it. Maybe next time!

Therefore, this gets a long wait for breakfast/brunch. It's hard to get a parking spot but there's free parking across the street. They have a big waiting area next to the restaurant which is definitely needed as we ended up waiting like 45 minutes around 9:30 am on a Saturday. The food was definitely worth the wait though. I got the burrito smothered with sauce and cheese and the flavor was fantastic. Flavorful but not super spicy or anything. It's also HUGE. Highly recommend. Service is a little questionable, if it was quicker they could probably help with their long wait. It was hard to flag down our girl when we needed something & it took ages to get to check.

The service showed a real lack of knowledge and attentiveness. When I ordered whole milk for my coffee, the response was essentially "is half and half okay?" -- no, it is absolutely not okay. These are completely different in taste and calories, and it's not a reasonable substitute to casually suggest. What made it worse: oat milk, almond milk, and whole milk were all visibly sitting in the fridge right there from where I was seated at the bar. Zero effort to offer what was clearly available. The atmosphere didn't help either. The space feels like someone started building a café concept and never finished thinking it through. It's uninviting, disorganized, and oddly off -- not warm, not designed with the customer in mind. Nothing about the food, the presentation, or the space gives you a reason to choose this place over anywhere else. Not particularly tasty, not nicely decorated, not a vibe. Not sure what keeps people coming back, honestly.

I checked the Yelp reviews ahead of time and it definitely lived up to them. People in our group started with drinks and everyone at the table seemed happy with what they ordered. I had the red wine braised beef brisket for my main and it was excellent, very tender and full of flavor. My friend Damon next to me had the red snapper and I tried some of that too. Also very good. Someone else at the table had the Rockefeller crusted snapper and that looked and tasted great as well. For appetizers, I had the shaved pear and blue cheese salad. It was really good and honestly enough for two people to share as an appetizer. People at the table also ordered the Devils on Horseback and liked them. I do not eat bacon, but they were happy with that dish. The deviled eggs with southern fried oysters looked really good, and I had the smoked salmon spread, which was very good too. I also saw the shrimp and grits come out for someone else and that dish looked excellent. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding and it was a strong finish to the meal. Others at the table ordered the seasonal crème brûlée, which was chocolate that night. It looked great and everyone who had it said it was very good. Sunny was our waitress and she did an exceptional job. Attentive, kind, and on top of everything the whole night.
