Now, granted my car ride back to my AirBnb means that it was no longer crispy. I am taking that into consideration. Waitress warned me that it would take a while and I could either take a seat or wait in my car (it's a rental and I'm from SoCal during October early snow weather). So I chose the former. I only really looked at the front portion of the restaurant. Didn't seem too busy but one of the higher rated KFC spots and that was my craving. Plus, I went ahead and ordered for to-go since I wasn't too hungry and was more in preparation for the season's first snowstorm. Seemed like any other small restaurant layout with booth seating on the outskirts. Fried chicken smelled good once I walked in. Now the food itself: I appreciate how it wasn't overly sauced so the crisp wasn't completely gone by the time I took a quick bite for the night. I'm sure it would've been better straight out of the fryer. All pieces were still juicy. So overall very much up to par. Just not top tier. Before I got out of my car, a Transient came up to my car door to ask for something. As a solo traveler, I respectfully shook my head at him. He went into the shop next door. As this is in their downtown area, not surprising to have such an interaction. Unfortunately that lowers their rating though. read more

Came here as a group when we were vacationing in Alaska during Thanksgiving weekend. The place is very cute and homey, there's a lot of kpop music and videos which I was expecting if I go to Korean restaurant. This place has a real potential, and I'm telling you what they could improve on. There was only 1 person working and I could tell she was pretty overwhelmed taking our big orders because we came in a large group. I didn't see any other staff, but it was very nice of her that before she sent out the orders to the kitchen, she printed out our orders and made sure if she didn't make any mistakes. She did misplaced some orders, but I'm glad she double check with us. Their katsu comes in a huge portion, we couldn't finish it and had to wrap it for to go. My favorite is their golden fried chicken, their soup / ramen was just ok, maybe can make some improvements on that area, or just focus on fried chicken in overall. If possible, maybe they can add some banchan for complimentary appetizers like in Korean style restaurant, but the lady was nice and she recommended some places to visit during our trip. Got the half and half boneless fried chicken, which at $34 is VERY pricy for basically 20 pcs of chicken nuggets. Btw, those pcs are chicken thighs, which I personally prefer but most people expect breast parts. The order comes with a little bowl of salad OR a little bowl of rice. I can get a steak with all the fixings for that kind of money.... Maybe try the rice bowls or the stir fry dishes instead if you go but their concept for Korean fried chicken is not successful. read more

I did a DoorDash order for this place and it smelled great in my car, so I told my friend about it and we went there the next day. They didn't disappoint! We tried three of their fried chicken flavors, soy garlic, spicy glaze, and sweet glaze. They were all awesome each in their own way. My personal favorite was the spicy, which tasted like a Korean twisted Buffalo sauce with mild garlic. The soy garlic was different because it was classic done in a different way. The sweet tasted like Korean BBQ so obviously good. Cannot recommend enough. Portion size was good and service was great. Our waitress was very helpful and explained the menu a little bit for us. My friend said he could eat a KFC family bucket of your soy garlic chicken and I think he can do it. If the owners of the restaurant see this, reach out to me please. I will pay for it. read more

The service is always awesome from the time you arrive till you leave, which is why my daughter always wants to go back. The food is great! My husband enjoyed both orders of wings however some were lacking flavor and seemed like they needed more sauce. I wasn't a fan of the sweet and sour chicken which also lacked flavor and didn't taste like the description, however the abundance of rice given with the dish was awesome. The rice donuts are a must try! The texture was absolutely amazing not like any other kind of donut and generously sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. To finish up they give you ginger chews :) read more

Went as they were opening so we were the first or second customers. Food was out fast and was fresh. Chicken was juicy and crunchy. Got an order of the sugar rice cake things. Went there a couple of days ago. The food was alright. I had the spicy chicken which was not that great and my husband had the chicken teriyaki bowl which was really good. We were the only customers for about an hour and our server somehow got my order wrong. I wanted wings and a side of rice. However I had boneless chicken and she forgot my rice. Warning to the unwary. Ordered from this place this evening. Noticed the prices were on the high side, but had read the reviews, and assumed the prices reflected portion and quality. Ordered the 6 piece vegetable egg roll ($6.95) and the chicken, with rice and salad (15.95). The menu photographs depict large portions of very appealing items. When I arrived to pay and pick up my order, I lifted the bag of packaged items, and thought it was very light. Upon opening the stryofoam containers, I was surprised to find not only that the portions ridiculously small, but looked nothing like the menu. Raising this with the gentleman at the counter, he responded that the items and portions reflected the menu items. $23.00 amounted to five short chicken strips, a small ball of white rice, a salad consisting of lettuce and carrot shreds 3 inches square, and five fried egg roll halves, each no more than 3 inches in length. Nothing wrong with their chicken. it's just that fried chicken is supposed to be 'Korean style chicken' but it is so NOT. The sauce is wrong and the texture is wrong. (Need more batter) Considering the price which is higher than regular wings in town i was a bit disappointed. read more
