This place is a lifesaver - one of the few places open after midnight in the area. I had the combo 2 - a slider, tender on bread and fries. The portion was huge, I counted 3 tenders total. The fries were delicious and crisp. The slider added some extra flavor around the tender. I went for medium spicy, after being advised that the hot contained ghost peppers. The medium had a bit of kick to it, but I felt that they could have added some more spices/herbs for flavor to the chicken seasoning. The services was basic but friendly- what I'd expect for a fast food joint. The interior was basic, but well lit and felt safe - and other customers were keeping to themselves. I'd been wanting to try Chikin Drip for some time and was excited about the opening of their location at The Plant. We ordered a double slider combo and requested one hot and one mild. The lady at the register mentioned they usually don't accommodate that, but said she would make an exception this time--which I found a little odd, because it seemed like a simple enough request. When the meal came out, we couldn't tell which slider was which. Maybe using toothpicks with small labels would help with that? As for the flavor, the heat was definitely there, but it could use more depth. The mild slider was on the tangier side, reminding me of Tajin. The chicken was juicy and lightly breaded. I personally prefer a heavier breading, but that's just a matter of taste. I did enjoy my meal overall, but it felt a bit average. Will be back to try other items on the menu. read more

I usually love chicken drip! I would always love to go the location about 15 minutes from my house but then 1 closer opened up. I had ordered a side of coleslaw and a side of Mac and cheese (I wasn't feeling that hungry for chicken but usually love to get their Mac and cheese and coleslaw). Once I got home the coleslaw was just the veggies with water on the bottom no sauce or anything which is not what I remembered from the other chicken drip. I've been meaning to do this for a long time. Today is the day. I'm here at Chikin Drip in Silicon Valley tonight, this is like their newest location. I'm very familiar with the Plant Shopping Center. I really like the Logo and Branding, it's very clean, and poppin'. I wanted to do a Fried Chicken Sandwhich again, and this is a Nashville Hot Chicken style Sandwhich again. It looks absolutely phenomenal. So unreal. The Fries were exceptional. And I find that the Chicken Sandwhich isn't too heavy, packed with flavor, and got great texture and contrast. It was so juicy, it was actually dropping everywhere. I like how I didn't need to ask, they offered and gave me some Pure Honey to go with it, that was the move, and I think this my first time having a Nashville Hot Chicken with Honey, it was pleasant. And I really like how they gave me the option, to add American Cheese, that somewhat made a difference. This could very well be a 4.4 stars on a good day, but I give this 4.3 stars out of 5 stars. read more
