What a pleasant surprise. It's New Year's Eve and we had guests from out of town flying into DIA, on their way to the mountains. We needed to have dinner..but it was sort of last minute and we didn't have reservations. They recommended Chili's at Parker Road and Arapahoe and suggested we use the "Call Ahead Reservation" to see if we could eliminate a delay. This is where the "GREAT EXPERIENCE" began. We checked in at the front hostess station, where we were immediately recognized as being on the list. There was a rather large crowd in the waiting area....so were somewhat surprised when our wait ended up being less than 5 minutes. Once seated, we were greeted by Marisa...who even though she appeared to be VERY busy...took a moment to answer a couple of menu questions and got our drink order. Now, the place was full and the bar area was packed....but Marisa continued to update us on the progress of our food and drink orders. She was 'refreshingly honest' in her many communications with us and our guests. The meals were EXCELLENT and the service that Marisa provided was STELLAR. She graciously influenced us to add a Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert and it was the perfect suggestion to cap off a very good meal. Can't say enough good things about Marisa, as she was a professional in every way. We did not have an opportunity to talk with a Manager (it was very busy)...but if we had, I know that I would have given him a 'thumbs up' on the entire experience. The only complaint/suggestion that I would have left the manager with...was the very annoying 'SQUEAKING' Front Door. That should be fixed/oiled ASAP...it's such a small thing, but it does leave an impression when noticed. PS...the ability to pay at the table with the Digital Monitor system was appreciated and was something that we weren't familiar with but it was very easy to understand and complete our payment with. read more

It had been forever since we went to a Chili's, but we had a couple of gift cards and decided to go. We were greeted pleasantly and seated right away. Our server did a good job overall, he forgot a salad but brought it late after we mentioned it and he comped it. The biggest problem was that the beer was flat and the food was tasteless. First I ordered Blue Moon - flat - sent it back. Then Coors Light - flat - kept it anyway. I drank my one (of the two-for-one happy hour, very small glasses), gave the other to my husband and we switched over to soda. Table side guac was okay but the chips were strange and the salsa was gross. I got fajitas and the best thing were the tortillas, which I'm sure came off of a food-supply truck. My husband got chicken with cheese and bacon on top and that managed, somehow, to be very bland. The kids loved the tabletop electronic tablet and the hostess told us they could play games on it, so we let them. Later on the bill there was a $0.99 charge for games. There may have been a notification/permission screen but, if so, our kids clicked right past it. We didn't say anything, as it was not a big deal, but had we known we would have just handed them our iPhones instead for free. Fortunately, you can use the gift cards for the tip too, so we gave the server a nice tip to burn through some of the balance. There is about $10 left on one of the cards, I will use it at Macaroni Grill for lunch at some point, as I don't plan to return to Chili's anytime some. read more

I worked for Chili's for about 5 years in a past life. Ok, I confess, it was THIS life time. I actually entered the work force as a hostess at a Chili's in South Florida, then became a server and worked in a couple stores between West Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Anyway, I'm a fan of Chili's but don't visit very often since the experiences I've had around Denver have been lacking. The food and service just aren't great on a consistent basis no matter which location I go to, but the motivation behind the 4 stars is this: We made plans to see Hot Tub Time Machine with some friends at the Chinese Theater at Arapahoe and Parker. Dining options included Old Chicago, Chili's, newly opened Cheddar's, and Red Robin. The movie was at 8:30p and my dear friend was intent on making reservations at one of the four choices. Being a veteran of the chain restaurant workforce, I was pretty sure we weren't going to get a reservation anywhere. Cheddar's wouldn't take our name and guaranteed a 45 minute wait (understandable since they just opened). Chili's, however, actually took a reservation. My friend spoke to the manager and while he confessed that they don't NORMALLY do it, he would do it for our party. I even called on Saturday about an hour beforehand because - frankly I didn't believe we had a reservation. I was impressed that they had our name down, and when our friends arrived before us they were promptly seated. Of course, there didn't seem to be a wait at the door either, so who knows how authentic the "reservation" really was, but the courtesy we were extended was impressive coming from a Chili's. My BBQ chicken salad was disappointing - not quite up to par with other chains like Elephant Bar or Cheesecake Factory - but I'll probably go back to this location thanks to the manger's kindness. read more

Being a chain, Chili's food isn't all that great. But honestly, the service here is great, and I think it's what keeps me coming back. I usually start with queso and chips, which comes with tortilla chips and a skillet with a queso dipping sauce that included refried beans and ground beef. Pretty good, but nothing to write home about. I'm also quite found of their cheesesteak sandwich, which has chunks of steak, rather than shaved, and some delicious cheese sauce. Their fries are my favorite part-well seasoned, not too crispy, not too soft. Their beer selection is also quite good, and includes the staples as well as some local brews. Chili's food isn't amazing, but it's not a bad choice for an inexpensive dinner out-given it's proximity to the AMC Arapahoe, it's also a good choice for dinner and a movie. read more

We just had the best experience today. From the minute we walked through the door, great food, (best baked potato soup),our entree's arrived hot and just as ordered. Went in for lunch between movies. The $5 monthly margarita was tasty. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas and they were sizzling and DELICIOUS! The portion size was perfect! It came with a salad or soup also. I tried a chicken southwest style soup and it was very tasty! Floors were disgusting. Tables and chairs had food residue from when?? Asked for fajitas without onions. Management (I think??) Advised us that they had a new process for cooking fajitas. Awful. Just awful. Service is terrible. We had to constantly ask for things such as utensils, water, napkins. The food was disgusting. It was cold and everyone who had chicken had some sort of a tummy ache that night. I had mango chicken, broccoli, and rice. Hubby had sliders and so did our daughter. Her mini sliders were hard and not suitable for an infant to attempt to chew. The chips were soaked and soggy. Not sure if server spilled water or if container was still wet but had to ask for new chips. Even my Stella beer tasted old. A 9 year old choose this place for her birthday celebration. Ouch..Michael of SF reminded me I had no pics of tacos, which reminded me of visiting Chili's yesterday evening. Weather was very cold, streets freezing over, seeing many accidents just outside as we were driving up. Had snowed 8" earlier, snow melted, re-freezing turning to black ice. Much warmer inside, as the bottomless gutless chips and salsa never went empty. Great service of hungry appetites. Ordered potato skins, cheese sticks, which came out soon after ordering. Had 2-3 wait staff for our table, drinks never went too low either. Hot bowl of Chili + Bacon & Steak Chulpas was a full plate, with Bacon dipping sauce. Yum! Topped it all off with a chocolate cake / hot fudge / ice cream that was to die for, sharing with 3 others, only got a few bites, but better I did not I suppose. There over an hour, hoping traffic all clear, which it was, but still no ice melt on roads by DOT, making for an interesting 4 X 4 trip back home. Parked very close, as one of the few idiots getting out in this mess. Have visited before, and will return in mo. or so. This is your typical chili's, everything was as expected just nothing over the top. Started with chips and salsa, love these thin chips. My girlfriend had the nachos which she loves individual chips covered in toppings of steak cheese and jalapeño. I tried the burger sliders they where ok but nothing special. I go to this Chili's quite often and really like it. Lunch service was really slow and blah yesterday. I had a lunch special that was a half sandwich and a side. I chose a bowl of chili. I've never had their chili....but with a name like Chili's...must be good right?? OMG...it tasted like a bowl of salt!! I love salt...but this was so ridiculous and disgusting!! And I didn't realize I was paying an extra dollar to have this nasty chili!! With the service being slow and blah...I chose not to send it back for something else. I have never had to give a bad review but last night was the worst service were ever had... I'm so upset! We got seated ASAP (that was great) server asked for our drinks I asked for bud light they were out of bud light... so order coors light an a glass of water same with my father also order crackers for my 2 year old because he was fussy (took 40 minutes for the crackers) took 20 minutes to get out drinks over a hour for our food... my daughter waited 30 minutes for a refill if I had gotten my water I would have given her that but didn't get my water I had to grab another server to get her refill.. my 2 year old quesadilla had no cheese in it... our sever never came back to ask how our food was or I would have pointed it out an asked for another so my husband an daughter shared there fires with my son... after she gave us our bill I pointed out the quesadilla she said oh I'll remake it... we got there at 630 it was now 830 passed my two year old bed time an he was full of fries... I've never had this bad of service in my life I was very disappointed!! We were trying to find a middle meeting place for our families an love the chile's in lone tree... Sad to post this but this is my second day in a row purchasing Chili's carry-out and probably my last purchase. Today I picked up 2 orders one under my mom's name and the other under a friend's because I payed the night before. The sign read to go to the bar so I approached the bar and told the bartender (Zane) the order name and she proceeded to get it from the back I tried to ask her a question and she was very rude and short with me she brought out the first of the two orders and I looked at the ticket and noticed it wasn't paid for though I had thought I had paid online. So I simply asked her if the order had been paid for and again she was rude and short with me and said no. I paid on my credit card still proceeded to write a $5 tip while noticing Zane was not rude with the bar guest at her bar top, she was actually rather friendly. Once I got home and unpacked the order I first noticed the hair in one of the to go ramekins of ranch immediately noticeable to me. My brother's salad was packaged in a to go soup cup rather than the to-go packaging it was in the night before. All of our drinks were under poured in the cups with soda and tea. If I could give this place no stars it would be more fitting. We have attempted to dine here two different times and every time the hostess' were either incredibly rude or incompetent. We have left both times. The first time was because the hostess refused to greet or acknowledge us and we waited around for 10 minutes. The second time, the hostess was incompetent and had no idea how to do his job. Again we waited and got no service and left. Normally Chili's makes me sick. Its just some sort of cooking oil I'm sure that gets me. My wife wanted some Chili's to-go the other day, so I took the dive and tried it again. Well..... I didn't get sick, so I had that going for me. The food was decent. I actually really enjoyed my chicken fingers. The fries were..... meh ok, not super, but a lot better than comparable restaurants. The price seemed a touch high for what we actually got, but it was close enough to be considered fair. I think my wife had some sort of wrap, but I can't remember. She liked it, and that's good enough for me. I only wish it was on the south side of Arapahoe since I'm heading east after work. We'll be back. read more

Good quality has been decreasing over the years. Today I tried their ranchero chicken tacos, when served the chicken and shells were cold. Sent it back came out warm but forgot half the toppings. The chicken had no flavor and tasted like it can out of a can. Just terrible!! read more

This is by far the worst service I have ever received anywhere, and we will never go back to this location..only gave it 1 star because it wouldn't let me give 0 stars. Came here last night for dinner(around 615)with my husband and 2 kids. Got seated immediately and ordered our drinks & app.Took them almost 15 minutes to get our drinks to us(nothing from the bar--just a coke, Arnold palmer, chocolate milk and white milk). The fries were bleh..the milk was sour! How are you going to serve spoiled milk to customers?! My kids took about a sip each, and when we called the server over he acted like it was such a hassle to get us a different drink.(which didn't come out for another 10 minutes, even though it wasn't super busy). In regards to the food- they over cooked my husbands salmon and burned his steak, the "steamed" broccoli was raw, and not only was my "grilled" burrito not grilled, but the server knocked over the sauce that came with it and it got ALL OVER the plate &food(not a huge fan of the sauce). The server never came over to see how everything was going, never asked for refills, and never checked on us as we paid. All in all, we didn't get our food until 715. Only tipped the server because we figured that they had to tip share with the busboy..so disappointed. read more
